Also great options for both outdoor and indoor ceremonies, so you've got your rain contingency covered. Erica, the owner and doer-of-all-things, was the best to work with. She event set up a special curtained area for our ceremony so that we could appear from behind it rather than processing up the aisle. The caterer she works with, Chef Chris, is awesome as well and the food was absolutely delicious. Erica is constantly improving the grounds so I imagine there are even more wonderful creations to behold than when we were there. As soon as it's safe to gather again I hope this wonderful business can reopen, I can't recommend Erica and SPAF highly enough!

Josh, the event planner, is easy to work with and has great attention to details. I have been to several events and the space can be transformed to meet the needs of the affair - from an elegant and sophisticated wedding space to a contemporary urban/industrial ambience for more casual events. Servers and bartenders presented well in both appearance and provided excellent customer facing interactions. The food was well prepared and pleasing in appearance and taste, with a wide variety of options. The location has tons of parking and is handicapped accessible

Looks are deceiving ! This is a beautiful facility. It's downhill after that…read more We have gone here a few times each year - we keep hoping they improve. It's going in reverse. My suspicion is that they are getting by on the tourist trade. We went for brunch arrived about 1:00 waited over an hour for our food. The restaurant was not crowded - three other tables of guests. We asked our waiter when we could expect our lunch. He went and checked on it - came back in about 10 minutes with our food. Everyone's food was cold. Two of us ordered the shrimp and grits- our shrimp was practically raw. We had to send it back 3 times to have it cooked. Another person in our party had the Eggs Benedict with the salmon. They were sick after eating that. When we told the manager she took one of the shrimp dishes off the bill. No apologies nothing else was done to adjust the bill. Very disappointed- We called the restaurant the next business day and nothing else was offered. That will be our last trip to the restaurant. Don't waste yiur time or money. If you stay here you get to use the amenities at the Waterside Spa for free during your stay. It's a 14 minute walk or a 3 minute drive. You can order room service from the restaurant if you're into that but I recommend walking up Partition Street for food and shopping. I liked waking up early, getting a quick bite from their continental breakfast in the lobby, and then heading down to their wooden walkway to get closer to the waterfall under the bridge. The walls are kinda thin and the restaurant is very meh but overall a great relaxing experience. You can even leave your car in the parking lot after you checkout if you still want to do things locally.

Guests in high heels were sinking into the lawn! Closed toe shoes might also have been a good suggestion as for the event we attended the shuttle from the parking area to the event area were given the wrong time to arrive and we were forced to walk down dirt/gravel paths - even in flat sandals it was problematic. Elderly guests were shuttled down in garden carts. Hors d'oeuvres were outstanding - dinner was meh; overcooked veggies, dried out potato wedges, bland salmon. Typical meeting fare. Checked out their site afterword - looks like all the weddings follow the same format and set up following the currently non-religious-rustic barn theme. Checks all the boxes if that's what you're looking for with a hefty price tag.

We are also so glad that the venue was out doors, otherwise we really would not have been able to have a wedding at all with the current rules. We were just so happy with the entire experience and it made for a simply perfect and elegant day. The venue is beautiful and my wife and I can't recommend it enough.
