Mosquito spray treatments have never worked for us (including Arrow) however, their new system that strategically places water filled boxes with larvacide around the property has worked FLAWLESSLY. We've been with Arrow for pest control, mosquito control, and termite warranty for 12 years. we've never had anything but the best experience with their technicians or office staff. They have very low turnover for technicians and we've had the same person come to service our home for about 8 years. They're knowledgeable, professional, and personable. This review is for Arrow Exterminators in Hilton Head Island: They are the most unprofessional, disrespectful service I have ever had! I was out town when they called me to setup my service date. I specifically told the person on the phone that I was out of town and I would call them when I returned. I received a $75 bill for services rendered on Aug 19. When I called their office, I spoke to Frank and he was extremely combative with me from the start. He said that he told me he would do the outside and do the inside when I returned. I specifically told him NO and I would call when I returned home to do the complete service. When I called to ask why I received the $75 bill, Frank said he sprayed the outside. He insisted that he told me he was doing the outside service only. I said NO you did NOT. I did not agree with his assessment of the situation ... HE HUNG UP THE PHONE ON ME! Actually slammed the phone down. Great customer service! By the way, this is not the first time that they have done this to me. Previously I accepted the fact that they did do the outside and never set a time or date for the inside to be done and I did pay that bill! How do you know they came to do the outside? There is no evidence or a card for "services rendered" left hanging on your front door? This company is extremely frustrating to work with, inflexible, with pretty horrendous customer service. If you have an option for any other pest control, I highly recommend using anyone else. Last year my roommates and I called for pest control for cockroaches in the house. Both my roommate and I work from home, and mid workday the rep called to say he was on his way, and then another man showed up from the company. Arrow man 1 told me he needed to go up and inspect the room we were having the issue in. So he goes up and interrupts my roommate to look. 10 min later, Arrow man 2 that had called shows up. He also needs to take a look, so interrupts my roommate again to look. Gives a long high pressure pitch about options/prices, we agree to a service, and meanwhile Arrow man 1 begins a high pressure pitch about mosquito spraying. We hear him out, and sign up for spraying as we get one month free, and as they both repeatedly told us, this is not a contract, so we can cancel anytime. They both interrupted a good hour of our workday for this long annoying pitch before finally just doing the work and leaving. When we ask them to stop coming for the cockroaches, we got consistently aggressive feedback from the main guy, then get put through to a manager who also gives an aggressive sales pitch, then just aggressively against us trying to cancel our service (which he let us know 20 more times was not a contract). This included long voicemails on my phone about services, and continued for at least 2 or three months after we had clearly told them we were not interested in their services because Arrow man 1 still kept texting that he was on his way. Most recently they showed up and sprayed my yard for mosquitos without any heads up, so I had no idea that my dog should not have been allowed in the yard with fresh chemicals!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Shame on me for not reviewing YELP before hiring Arrow Exterminators. We hired them years ago for termites and were satisfied with the results and customer service. We called them in September for wildlife services. The representative was very honest and pleasant. We paid for services for 4 months. We were incorrectly charged initially and called for an adjustment. We called and were told a manager would call us back....never happened. They were supposed to come monthly but you always have to call them. We keep calling for a manager and they never call you back. Recently they were to come November 15 and were a no-show but had the nerve to bill us. We were home all day. We called again and the very rude customer service person insisted the person came to our home until we told her we had RING surveillance in the front and back of our home. We then get "Our manager will call you back in 10 minutes". Still no call. Now they are breaching the contract for no-show. Were going with another company. This is just not worth the hassle and disrespect from rude customer service. read more

This is by far the worst experience I've had working with a pest control professional - or any vendor whatsoever. Ive highlighted SOME of the issues that arose during my experience with Arrow. 1. I contacted Arrow and several other exterminators because I had an issue that needed immediate resolution. The representative provided me with assurance that someone could be out that week and that service could be done 24 hours after the initial consultation/estimate. Although someone did come out to provide an estimate within the agreed upon timeframe, I was then informed that service couldn't be performed until following week. I understood that scheduling issues occur, and scheduled the appointment anyway. 2. I scheduled a time for service and was given a delivery window. I came home from work so that I would be home for the service. However, no one arrived during the time frame provided. When I contacted the office, I was told I didn't have an appointment scheduled. It turns out that the office manager put the wrong address in wrong which basically cancelled the service. I was told that there wasn't a way for them to get any kind of notice of this... as a result, I had to wait for the service (that was already urgent) to be provided. I was told I'd be provided with a slight discount, but I had to miss an entire day of work to accommodate their mistake. 3. Lastly (not all issues are addressed for the sake of time), the general demeanor of the representatives that I spoke with during this process was less than desirable. I am usually extremely flexible and understanding of issues that can arise when working with a vendor, but I wasn't treated with kindness or respect at all. It took me over a week, two separate phone calls, and an email just to get a bill adjustment to reflect the discount I was promised. 4. I should mention that the service tech himself was great, and if he didn't work for arrow, I'd hire him again in a heartbeat. All in all, I would say that you should look to someone else for your pest control needs to avoid the headache(s). read more

Called Arrow a week ago and they said they would be out in 2 or 3 days to treat a yellow jacket nest by our pool which is presenting a risk to our Kids. Called back after a week and now they say it will be a couple of more days and they will have to come out to look at it and give us a price if they can treat it. I made an appt for bed bugs which they said they use heat and chemicals it's the best way.. Well for a follow up they say they'll call me. I ended up calling them 5+weeks later. Rescheduled and they never showed!!!! I call and they don't pick up. I would heartily recommend these professionals for any jobs you may require. What surprised us was that there was hardly any odor associated with the work and the additional insulation made the home much quieter - less street noise and better acoustics generally. I'm upset to see that the reviews for Arrow aren't at all reflective of the experiences I've had with them. We have had nothing but the best service. We use them for our termite bond, exclusion services and ongoing pest control. We took over the termite bond from the former owners of our house. Our inspector found some wood destroying organism damage in the crawl space under the floors of the house's addition. We asked the former owners to have this repaired and due to timing it had to be after the closing. The guys came out and replaced the entire floor and installed a fan to keep moisture out at no cost to us and a small copay to the former owners. This was their handyman team and they were just great to work with! We found out a week later there were some cracks in the sheet rock and it had to be because of their work, so they came in and fixed all the cracks and painted the whole room at no charge. We had such a great experience we called them when we saw a rodent in our basement. They came out, sealed our house and came back throughout the following month to check the traps and make sure they had gotten rid of the problems. We also decided to have them do insulation in our attic after the exclusion was complete and had another good experience. Megan in the office, has been wonderful to work with. She has helped us with scheduling and getting the best guys out for our services. She's also helped out with our renewals. We haven't had any issues with timing/scheduling and hope that continues. Overall, I would recommend Arrow for any of the services we have with them and it really is nice to be able to have one company I know I can trust for many things. read more

These folks don't see to have online bill pay and their office is closed after hours, which is inconvenient in this day and age. That is the only reason I give them a 4. I've used Arrow for years for pest, termite, and mosquito. All have been positive experiences. That said, today took the cake. We've had a rodent problem for the last week. A gentleman from Arrow came out and evaluated our house. We've done the exclusion program with another vendor in the past (much prior to Arrow). The Arrow representative gave me the straight up on what I may be able to do to prevent the problem, and also offered that if my own solutions do not work, that he would be happy to re-engage. Our current technician, Ken, is on time, professional, friendly and does whatever he can to make the experience positive and easy. First of all the tech's that show up to do the work are great. My Pest Control guy does an excellent job quarterly for me. Then I had to have WildLife Home Inspection, house sealed with traps being checked. Three different people all of which were very professional and through. The HUGE PROBLEM IS WITH THE OFFICE. I'm told one scheduled time and the techs are told a different time which makes it impossible to be at the house to let them do their job. In the past week and half I have had the person who was supposed to be here at "8:00 sharp" arrive at 9:15. Then house sealing crew was to arrive between 1:00 - :200 with them pulling into my driveway at 9:00am. Being that I couldn't leave work to my scheduled time off to let them in they were supposed to be back at my house 1pm to let them in to set the traps. They were told to come back at 5pm. And today my traps are supposed to be checked at 5pm with the tec showing up for the 2nd time at 3:30. Have spoken to management multiple times and yet the Techs keep being told the wrong scheduled time. EDIT: From this review, had the Manager over WildLife contact me and he quickly straightened out the Wildlife weekly service scheduling. Looks like the issue has been corrected for the next 3 scheduled visits. read more

Arrow technicians and employees are friendly and easy to communicate with, reliable (this is a HUGE plus, we realize, after dealing with Orkin and a particular Orkin technician who didn't want to return our calls or texts~ regularly took 3-5 business days and several attempts to get the Orkin guy to reply to us) and exceptionally thorough. The roach problem we had dealt with for about 6 weeks (Orkin came out 3 times over those 6 weeks with no results) seems to have cleared up within 6 days of Arrow servicing our home. Both Denver, the home inspector, and Cortez, the technician, were so knowledgeable and helpful. So far we are very impressed with Arrow and highly recommend them! read more

I was with another branch of Arrow in Gwinnett for 13 years--I had no problems. Occasionally issues would occur--however I was always treated as a "customer." When I moved to Decatur--I transferred my service to this branch. Honestly--please do yourself a favor and DO NOT USE THIS BRANCH OF ARROW! I've had ongoing problems with billing and service. It took a few weeks for a manager to call me back--but when he did he was huffing, puffing and extremely angry that I was questioning my contract and services. Then he hung up on me. I think that's a little dramatic to hang up on a customer--no I was not using any profanity and I was not yelling. You will never be right in any type of bill/service dispute with this branch of Arrow. The manager did offer concessions for my issue (hmmm- guess there was something to my claim) but I guess putting up with his temper tantrum was part of the deal! Not that one more one star review will make any difference but don't use this branch. My landlord has a contract with them. I have an unusual sensitivity to pesticides and he spoke to them at great length about only baiting and setting traps and not using pesticide inside the unit right next to mine. Our apartments were not built as a separate units but only had a wall thrown up many years ago to create two units out of one. It would be like spraying in one room of your house and just shutting the door. He confirmed to me that Arrow said they would not spray inside, at all. The morning the tech came out to service the building, I caught him walking out of the adjoining apt holding the pesticide canister. I introduced myself and told him that I was the one who couldn't be around sprays and he said "where do you live???" and looked like he swallowed a bug. I told him and asked "did you spray?" He stammered "uh uh uh only a little." I checked with my neighbor and she confirmed he did spray. I immediately called my landlord, who called the office to speak to the manager. They took a week to call him back and, after delaying an entire week, claimed that the tech didn't spray inside. I was sick for the following week. Do not use this location. You will not get the service that was promised. read more
