I booked lessons for my daughter, who will be commuting from college and needed to get her license. We chose their package with 5 lessons, the 5-hour class, and the road test. Her instructor, Steve, was absolutely wonderful, patient, kind, and supportive throughout the entire process. We had a small hiccup along the way, but the receptionist (I wish I remembered her name!) handled it quickly and resolved everything in no time. Yesterday, my daughter took her driving test and passed on her very first try! I can't recommend Success Driving School enough. I am a quiet person and while I was polite and receptive to his small talk, I did not initiate or engage with it more than necessary. He made jokes about this after every single session saying that I "talked too much." Annoying, but not a big deal. However, after one particular session, when he dropped me off, he joked by telling me to "be a good girl or your mom won't give you a lollipop." You cannot make this shit up. Who says that?? I felt uncomfortable and repulsed by this strange comment. Once I passed my driving test, he handed me a stack of flyers for his driving school and asked me to put them up around my college campus to advertise him. I thought this was very unprofessional. He also took it upon himself to use some of our lessons as "highway practice" rather than preparing me for the driving test, clearly as a way to get more lessons and money out of me. In my opinion, if you are a young girl learning to drive who is not very assertive or talkative, he will take advantage of that. But take this as you will.

I took classes with instructor Shan and I learned alot from him. I highly recommend asking for classes with him. He knows many helpful tips and techniques to help students pass the road test. He was very considerate because he tailored his instructions to my skill level and understanding of driving. It helped me to improve and reinforce good driving practices. But above all, he is extremely patient, compassionate and comfortable to be around.
