Customer Service representatives Sheena and Shalonda responded immediately, and made what could have been a highly frustrating and negative experience very positive, and presented the face of a company that appreciates the value of solid customer service and what benefits that brings to the company. The damages to our 6-drawer dresser will be made whole thanks to the efforts of these two excellent representatives of Homemakers. So we stopped in at Projects to get some ideas! The store is beautiful and has lots of cool couches, chairs, tables, lights, beds, art, bathroom things, nick nackts etc. One thing you will realize very quickly this is not cheap stuff, some of these couches range from 5,000-20,000 dollars. Wowzers, don't spill coffee on that! But there is no where else in town where you can shop for these high end contemporary type things and actually see them in real life! So I do really dig going in here, even though there is nothing I can afford to buy! The staff always says hello when you walk in and then just lets you run around looking, they don't bother you at all they just sit on their computers.. Every time I have been in here that happens! Some might be put off by this, but I understand and I liked being able to look around without someone asking my life story or trying to sell me something. All in all cool store, and as Ferris Bueler would say, "If you got the means, I highly recommend picking one up." but he is not talking about a car here, more like a couch!

Great, it's covered under warranty. Well, first of all their financing through Acima is predatory. They were the absolute worst to deal with. Forced auto pay and then send auto-generated emails that we were late making payments and one time tried to charge us for it. Initially they offered to give me a "discount" to reinstate payments. Umm, no. I will not be paying anything extra when my account was in good standing the entire time and your system just didn't attempt to charge it. I was not late, it's automated. Then when I turn in this warranty claim and they get a local technician, I specifically state that I have an appointment in the afternoon and I need a morning appointment. They scheduled an afternoon appointment anyway and when I called to reschedule, they hung up on me and when I finally got through, they scheduled it more than a week out. Now my furniture has been completely unusable for 3 weeks, will be a month at that point. Not to mention they complained that I didn't send the right pictures and threatened to deny my claim but gave no instructions on how to update it. They wanted a picture of the entire recliner when the problem was listed as mechanical and I had sent a photo of the lift mechanism. I am so fed up I don't care how good the prices are or the quality it's not worth all this hassle. Do not be deceived, if you have any sort of issue, you will be speaking to someone who barely speaks English and does not give a hoot about your experience. Do not shop here!
