World Market carries a TON of chai mixes and teas that come to much less than $7 a drink. Lol While the store is fun to browser the online site is user friendly and often offers 15% off for an in store pick up order...which is exactly what I did last night. I purchased three different varieties of David Rio chai mixes and some gummy peach rings with tajin, chiles, and limon. I placed the order online at about 200 PM and it was pulled and ready by 430 PM. Your mileage may vary. On arriving at the store I headed up to a register and let the employee know I was there to pick up an online order. It was pulled and brought to me quickly. The staff is friendly and parking is easy. And there are a great group of adjacent businesses and restaurants nearby if you are in the mood to shop a little more... World Market is a great place to just kill some time. Especially for a foodie! I work just a few blocks away so it's nice and convenient. The online system make it so easy! Almost too easy...

I was frustrated that no one said anything to me as they greeted some others as they walked in. I was dressed appropriately and normally I end up buying something when I go in Evereve. My home store is either Sioux Falls, SD or Naples, FL. Both of them are super, the people that work there greet everyone when they walk in and are extremely helpful picking out items that I wouldn't even think to try on. I generally end up buying what they pick out. This is the second time this has happened to me at the Jordan Creek Mall store. Not too excited to go back to that store.

I ended up getting ecco sneakers for only $40. The nice lady remarked the sticker price since I noticed the 9.5 size were different than a smaller size ecco sneaker. Yeah!!! If you are looking for those hard to find bargains and not finding it in the clearance of Von Maur or Dillards, then come here instead:)

This Marshall's didn't seem to have as much as the TJ Maxx that's in Waterloo. But I didn't think that the items were merchandised very crisply and it was very organized. The leadership in the store obviously takes great care in the appearance of their store. Now with a store like this that operates off of overstock merchandise you can't count on the same things being available all the time. So when I was looking through the women's clothing I was having a hard time finding items in my size. If I were a size extra small or small I would've had it made. I only ended up with a shirt for my son. Nothing else really caught my eye. I wasn't very impressed by the staff of the store though. I walked past a few employees and nobody greeted me smiled or made eye contact. When I walked up to the register the cashier me I contact with me but turned and continue to speak with her manager. It was at least 30 seconds before she finally walk to the register and told me she could help me there. If the store hadn't been so well organized and attractive from a merchandising standpoint I would've probably rated it a three.

It was like crickets. They did not show me any other options or even point me to where they were. At that point I knew more about them than they did. I also asked if they had a pair of pants in the same size and waistband but a wider leg. Again, they had no clue what they carried and what they didn't. These were basic black pants that they always carry, not a weird line or style. I gathered up the things I had planned on buying, and their cash register system was down. No apologies. I asked if they had any coupons. They didn't know. The entire experience was frustrating because it was quite obvious they did not want to be there. I left the store without purchasing anything and bought what I wanted online.
