Great room, office, bedroom, family room. They created a full plan, we made one or two very minor adjustments, and now we are living in our dream house with furnishings and rugs that perfectly complement the modern vibe. And the price was right! I recommend By Design to everyone I know who might be thinking about furnishings and area rugs. The products are great quality, and the designers are top notch and super nice. One piece or a houseful - they will take care of you.

Naturally I go strait to the records and flip through those! They had some nice selections Beatles, Elvis, Jackson 5, Tina Turner, Rod Stewart.. So if you want to dress a room up like the set of MAD MEN or want to get funky in a 70's globe ball chair, they got you covered! I loved the little black leather bar they had and vintage pop machines! Lots of clocks, lamps, and other funky items as well! They can easily scratch, damage something, or turn on and off the lamps- annoying the sales associates. So... def not kid friendly. You can immediately tell the quality of the furniture by touching. The durability compares to nothing in any other furniture store. They carry Palettes by Wineburg and are comparable in price to Homemakers. They offer more of a selection and someone who actually enjoys helping in customizing. They also can customize what you like from their floor models. We were able to receive a general quote for customization while we were there. With extra add ons the sales associate was able to email me a better estimate of price. They typically have sales throughout the year. Their best deals are right around Forth of July and Labor Day. Be patient when visiting on a busy day. They don't staff 20 people at a time.
