She initially stayed in the room and repeatedly asked me to pay immediately, so I had to ask again for her to step out. Even after she left the room, she was waiting right outside the door. When I came out, she was standing there expecting payment right away. I said we could go to the front to pay, but there was pressure in the moment to handle everything immediately. She insisted on cash for a tip after I already paid the service fee, which I wasn't prepared for. The interaction felt very forceful and uncomfortable, especially at the end of what was supposed to be a relaxing experience. Overall, the massage was good, but the way payment, tipping, and privacy were handled afterward was very unprofessional and took away from it.

At the same time, if I don't want to chat, silence prevails and an inner meditation takes over with the light music playing during the session. Initially, I needed her to really focus on the acute injury and not give a general massage. I am very grateful that she obliged. Her practice also extends beyond the table. Hanna encourages mindfulness while on the table. For me I was able to deeply connect with the massage following her words. She also showed me some stretches that greatly helped my back release. Coupled with some PT and chiropractic work, I'm feeling much better. I continue to go to Hanna, have recommended her to many, and will continue to book her for massages at least once a week.
