I just love this place. The staff is so friendly, welcoming, and competent. Happy is the owner and just gives great hard massages. She is really a wonderful lady. Amy is also an excellent massage therapist. The nice young lady at the front desk is Manon. Her English is one or two orders of magnitude better than anyone at Red Lantern or W Foot Spa. I should add that, like Red Lantern and W Foot Spa, Happy Beauty Spa is all about massage and not about illegal services. If the latter is what you seek, there appears to be such a place in the next building. read more

He had good pressure, I really felt like i got a massage and not just someone applying oil for an hour. While there was a language barrier, my bodyworker Nana knew exactly what parts of me were carrying the most tension and applied the right amount of pressure to loosen every knot- especially my shoulders. My 90 minute massage ended with a 30 minute reflexology which I'm not used to, but I feel like I'm walking so much lighter now. I'm going to begin with the positives - the lady at the front seemed polite, and the staff temperature-checked and asked my companions and me to use hand sanitizer upon entering, so seemed to be trying to use reasonable pandemic precautions. The place is no frills but seemed clean except for a slightly musty scent. Now, the rest of the review - I had the worst "deep tissue" massage of my life today, I believe from a masseuse named Coco. My friends were placed into a couples' room and I was put in a single. I was told my masseuse would be 5 minutes late (not a problem). She showed up out of breath for some reason and then did nothing but use her forearm to slide up and down my oiled back with 0 pressure, and then made circular motions. She spent most of the time doing this to only my right side (I currently have exteme pain on my left, and historically have recurring left side muscle issues). Every time she heard my friends in the next room, whose massages had begun earlier, getting to the next phase like hot stones, she would also immediately move onto that phase. My massage ended up ending slightly earlier than theirs. What makes me really angry is that based on other reviews here, Coco clearly knows how to give a proper/decent massage but just apparently didn't feel like doing her job today. Realizing after awhile that she was never going to start giving a proper massage, I knew there wouldn't be any point in asking her to do better, but also had nowhere to go if I cut it short, as I'd still have to wait for my friends to finish. To top it off, when it came time to pay I was told my massage cost $5 more because I was in a room by myself. Wtf, no one had mentioned this when we called to reserve or entered the spa. All in all a terrible experience, huge waste of time & money; and my back, shoulders, and neck are still killing me. read more

The staff was welcoming, helpful, informative, and respectful. I went for a couple massage with my significant other and I had never had a massage as good as this time I went. My significant other had his first massage and he was very satisfied. We left with that "high" feeling and they gave us a complimentary water. First time in this spa. I had a 30 minutes foot massage and it was amazing. The service in this spa superb. I highly recommend this place, highly professional and friendly people work here. Owner was so nice that she cooked some rice cakes for my friend and I. She invited us to eat with her family which was a really nice gesture. They took care to make sure they were applying just enough pressure, that the room was not too hot and not too cold. I had a great experience with Happy, for half the price of what I would have paid in Woodstock. I spend a lot of time lugging my 10 month old around and went from knotted and stiff to total jelly thanks to her work. She even recommended some pressure points to help me deal with my cough. I love getting massages but find the cost diesnt justify what is usually mediocre service. Paid $55 for an hour deep tissue which as great. Lots of oressure point work, some stretching and hot stones too. Half the price of other places and I the service was better. read more
