The facial was really wonderful and relaxing - no intense scents, super calming with some massage in there that was awesome. We then had individual massages by Tracy. Unfortunately that was not the greatest, WAY too gentle, WAY too much oil, and hardly felt relieved nor relaxed after - I kept thinking "when is this massage going to start" even after for more pressure. My partner had the same experience as well. I would totally be open to going back if there were other massage therapists though I will say, given the amount of $$ I was really hoping for a better experience.

Ok.. Let's begin. If you are searching Yelp reviews for massage services just stop. This is where…read moreyou need to go. Like I said, you're done, stop searching! Schedule an appointment with the LMT, Maren DeGroat. This will be the massage that you will never forget. The scheduling was painless and easy. Rates are the best in the area. As far as the massage itself? Maren located knots in my back in about four seconds after putting her hands on my back. No. Less. I was like wait, what are you doing? Incredible.. She is a highly skilled technician who works on your body as if she was part of the original design team. She knows where and how much pressure to use, how to intricately delineate the bunched up fibers which are totally stressing you out! I felt as though I was an Olympic athlete and was being treated to the highest level of sports massage therapy available. It is unlike any massage I have had previously. NOTE OF WARNING: Maren is most likely the strongest woman you will ever come in contact with. I wouldn't be surprised if she could crush a billiards ball in the palm of her hand. Although I saw no evidence of a cape, mask or outfit in the place, the possibility still exists that she might actually be a superhero.. When I got home my wife asked my how was it, I responded, "She kicked my ass." I am still shaking my head wondering what just happened. Amazing. Maren, if you are reading this THANK YOU! Yes, I can still feel your hands deep in my back. BTW, if you get regular massages and think you are a tough guy and can handle strong massage work... yeah.. no. There is the slight possibility you leave her place crying for your Mommy. Just sayin'. Nine stars. *Her location is now 488 Freedom Plains Road in Poughkeepsie, NY

I was in a car accident last year and I've been in a state of pain ever since. I started seeing…read moreMaren the LMT in January, and I can definitely say I could not function without her treatments. We joke around that I pay her to hurt me weekly, but her deep tissue massage is what keeps me going week to week. I had massage therapy before after the accident with another practice for over a month and received little to no relief of my pain. One visit with Maren and I could cut back on pain medication. After three visits, I was able to cut back to OTC as needed. She is able to keep my migraines at bay, even going as far as to stop them in their tracks, if I happen to get one when I have an appointment with her. I also feel a definitive difference (migraines and horrendous neck pain/upper back pain) when I am not able to see her i.e. vacations or busy work schedule. As a result, I make sure not to miss a single appointment. Oh, and don't let me get started on her Facial Stretching! To date, she now treats four of my family members, including me. I would recommend this LMT to anyone, not just those with residual pain from injuries. Honestly the best!

Had an hour body massage because I had a physically hard work for the past 4 days. Found the massage space, separated by curtain from the rest of the big room, kind a tight but it worked well. The bed & sheet are clean, tidy and smell fresh. My masseuse named Sophia and she was very good getting rid of the knots on my back and was a true, skilled professional. She started slow and careful, and then deep and hard to my sore muscles - the way I like it. I surely will be back whenever visiting Fishkill area again. Thank you for making me like a normal person again, I could walk better and easier. What a blessing. Thanks Sophia and HY Foot Spa!

I have been coming here for years!!!!! I was so disappointed today that we will not return…read more I don't lightly hand out 1-star reviews but I've come here with various people and by myself many times as well as recommended it to others and I feel like I have to warn people! First of all I had made a reservation a day ahead and expressly stated that I wanted to schedule a couples massage. We got there a few minutes early to get ready and they asked to pay ahead of time. I refused and told them I normally pay after the service. Also they don't speak any English at all and had to use our phone to communicate. The worst part is that the room was ice cold. I complained and they brought in little plug in heaters. The room didn't warm up completely even by the time we were done. In order to plug in the heaters, they unplugged the thing that warms the oil. So now the massage oil is also cold. We should've walked out...But we didn't. The ceiling tiles are falling down and the towels are dirty. The bathroom is gross. I had to ask for new towels and they were short to boot. I am only 5'4" and it was NOT long enough to cover my torso to my feet so they were freezing. No towel rolled up under the ankles to support the feet and they didn't even massage my arms nor head AT ALL! The massage was terrible. They just did the same "rubbing" motion throughout. Weak like they don't care. I miss the older lady that was there. She was fantastic. I think there must be new owners. Stay away. Stay away!

I purchased a gift certificate for a friend, and time and time again the friend tried to make an appointment. Suzanne is great at not being available for months and then when my friend tried once again she was told the gift certificate had expired. I emailed Suzanne and asked for my money back. She refused.
