I ordered the caprese sandwich with spinach instead of tomato and added tempeh. I was disappointed that the tempeh was smoked. A different flavor would have been better (pesto, plain). We all enjoyed the sandwiches. The ambiance was casual with music themed artwork on the walls. Tables were available inside and out. There was one high chair for our baby. Very convenient. The bathroom was clean and had everything we needed.

On our way, we were hoping for an excellent lunch, and Harvest Moon deli had good reviews, so we figured it was worth a try. The menu is a cute idea - themed around music (and presumably the name of the deli itself is after Neil Young, but not positive). There are a lot of options to choose from, but I landed on the chicken salad sandwich just because it's a classic and I was really in the mood for some. My sandwich was a disappointment. The bread was somewhat dry (especially the crust), the chicken salad itself was also dry as well. It was not flavorful, either. My husband's club sandwich had too much mayonnaise on it, so he ended up donating some of his mayo to my dry sandwich cause. (I didn't try his sandwich, but since his was toasted, he didn't experience the same dry bread issues). The deli seating area and bathroom was clean, and the staff were friendly and the service was fast. I probably would give this another try someday if we needed to have lunch on the way up again, and I'd get something entirely different to compare.

This coffee shop is super trendy and cozy. It feels like being in your chic friend's home. The best part is the patio that looks over the water. I highly recommend coming to Rockport for this spot.

Highly recommend this spot for nice view/seating, kind baristas, and high quality offerings!

I heard from friends in PA that truck stops had amazing food. I have to admit that when I visited Maine, I am uncontrollably unhappy with food. Especially because most people aren't really aware of cuisine or did not grow up to appreciate good food beyond blend seafood. BUT, I have found some good spots. This is one of them. If I don't compare Maine's restaurants to the gems I have back home, they are pretty good. I would not order any pasta at this truck stop, but I remember having the breakfast, yum! I'd go back if I ever visited again.
