The other 2 in my group got the lunch walleye sandwich with chips and the avocado chicken sandwich (she normally always gets a burger). They both said it was ok. I was the happiest with mine. The jerk chicken plate removed the beans, changed the rice, and got rid of the sauce so it wasn't as good though it was a bit less dry than last time. They also removed the Ropa Vieja from the menu which was our favorite. My husband had the Cuban sandwich and was not impressed. The fries with it were good. The drinks were still great. Service was friendly but slow (drinks, food, and waitress all slow). Another in our party got the blackened salmon which was really good. Unfortunately, I was so nervous they would remove or change the menu to be worse, which is a common theme I've noticed with 4 different restaurants by these owners now, so I was so bummed to see that's exactly what happened. My husband got the fish tacos for the first time and loved them.. It was a really healthy portion and even had some leftovers. I stuck with my favorite, the cod & chips,these are always amazing! Just after we were served she announced to the table that we all had to leave in 15 minutes. I said I assumed it did not apply to us as we had not even started to eat. she told us it applied to all of us. She told us if I was not happy about this I could speak to the Manager. I told her I would like to. then she said I could speak to her instead but I told her I wanted to speak to the Manager. No Manager ever materialized. I probably will never go to this restaurant again. I know times are tough and I don't object to time limits on tables BUT if a customer is very late the least a server should do is let them know there is a very limited time left for them to eat BEFORE they order $70 worth of food and drinks.
