My parents ordered hurricane windows and door walls April 2025, installed November 26. We found that the screen don't fit and fall off because tracks too small, the moldings are too short and allow air and bugs in so my father had to use a swim noodle and fill the holes, there was no head contractor on the job and the team spoke almost zero English, the list goes on and on. We have called weekly and no resolution except we are working on it and trying to get the pieces from the manufacturer. My parents leave in 6 days and still waiting for any resolution. Since ordering the windows in April 2025, I have used Armortech Windows in Sarasota and had 6 hurricane window ordered, installed and inspected with no issues or complaints. read more

I do not post many reviews, however feel this one is important. In short, do NOT use this company for your windows and doors. Their product does seem to be decent quality given the recent storms, but their customer service, especially post-sales, is horrible. 5 months after original installation and the job is still not complete and it is virtually impossible to get a call back. Given that their product is not unique, I would HIGHLY recommend going with a company that has greater focus and dedication to customer service and support. In detail: I ordered $40k worth of impact windows and doors in March '24. They were installed May '24. Overall, the installation was fine other than they ordered/installed one sliding window with the opening going in the wrong direction. Not a single member of the crew spoke any English which made it difficult to communicate during the process about any issues or questions, so in the end, I did not bring it to anyone's attention (also not wanting to wait additional months for a replacement). Prior to the installation, they were responsive, if not pushy. Their sales people did a great job "selling". One red flag, which is completely my fault for agreeing to despite knowing better, they required full payment PRIOR to even beginning the job. Once they got payment and passed inspection, they practically disappeared. To begin, in order to submit to the state for reimbursement under the My Safe Florida Home program, I needed a signature on a pre-printed cover sheet along with an invoice from them. It took me numerous unanswered phone calls and emails, until August, before I received them (almost costing me $10k). Every time I spoke to their front desk person, she would apologize and say I would have it or hear back within 2 days. I never received a call, and only received the email once I started calling every other day threatening to continue doing so. Additionally, during installation, three sliding screen doors were not able to be installed because they were the wrong size. Despite having new measurements taken, it is over 5 months later and I am no closer to having the correct ones installed. I have again begun calling regularly. I have not received a single call back from this company since July. I have called them 9 times and sent numerous emails, and the only communication is from the girl who answers the phone who says "sorry" and that someone will "follow up", though I have yet to see that actually happen. The bottom line is, this company only seems to care about getting their money from you, and then moves on to the next sale. Do yourself a favor and go with another company offering similar product that has better loyalty to their customers. read more

If you're looking for a company that provides disappointment, heartache and despair, this is the window company for you. Customer service is awful, installation provided by sketchy subcontractors, along with defective products. Ordered my windows in August of '23, installation began in November '23, installation completed in December '23 (over 30 days to install windows and sliders), and found a sliding door arrived defective. Reordered new slider immediately. Replacement slider arrived in March '24 only to be defective again. Installers had to put back the original slider, ordered a second replacement and then left. Upon my inspection of the work done, the installers never checked to see if the locks worked. Are you kidding me? Had to call to get the installers back to fix the locks. No one knows what they are doing. I made a mistake going with this company and totally regret my decision. read more

BUYER BEWARE!!!! We had our new doors installed and immediately noticed the wrong door handles were installed. No problem they say, they'll bring them tomorrow. Tomorrow never came. Come to find out it's because the way the door was cut they can't install the correct handles because they actually delivered the wrong damn door!!!!!! MONTHS have past now with Armorvue not returning our calls and worse yet- failing to have the current door inspected which is legally required by the county! Complete incompetence! The showroom is clean and very informative. All our questions were answered and handled from window choices to permitting to HOA requirements. The installation was done so well. Arrived on time - finished early and cleaned up 100% of the mess. They were pleasant and helpful and showed us how to work the windows and what to expect during inspection. armorvue sales re levi was very courteous and professional and answered all our questions re the windows and arranged for the financing and had samples to show us of the construction and the finished prodcut. he showed us how to operate the windows and everything went smoothly. from his visit to the install. the installers were efficient and thorough. they cleaned up after the were done and the windows were clean also. we had assistance from the company getting the right paperwork to duke energy for energy rebate. one of the techs came out and finished putting everything togeter after theinspection by the city and then came back out when i discovered a missing part. their prices are reasonable and the product is built in florida. they look great!! read more

Great job Armorvue! We were in need of replacing three entry doors and a pair of large windows. Poor installation lead to the doors becoming swollen and difficult to open and close. The windows were obviously not of the best quality. We had procrastinated initiating replacement as we were concerned over quality products and excellent installation. We saw the Armorvue ad and since we were in the area, stopped by to investigate. Good move on our part! We met with Chris Lanwehr and quickly established an excellent working relationship. He is very personable and knowledgeable of all products. There was no sales pressure and we signed a contract without any hesitation. Chris continued his helpfulness when we needed to work through the various product options, dealing with code issues, and obtaining a building permit. Issues were successfully resolved without any negative negotiations. The day for installation arrived and we met Doug Ratliff and his partner Laura. They quickly proved to be also very personable, product knowledgeable, and skilled craftsmen. They explained every step of the job, kept us informed of progress throughout the job, and maintained a clean job site to minimize debris spreading through the house. When the building inspector arrived, they explained what was to be done to meet code and achieved go ahead for the job. As work continued, the management visited the job site and introduced themselves. Once again, we were impressed with the Armorvue organization. Doug and Laura paid meticulous attention to the details and successfully removed and reinstalled the door trim. When the job was complete, other than the stickers on the doors and windows, you could not tell that major renovation took place.
