I thoroughly research vendors before I commit to one for any project for my home. I reviewed five local companies to change out my entry door and patio sliding door to hurricane-compliant doors. I selected Armortech for multiple reasons, the most important one to me is the commitment of excellence they made when performing the work. I verbally told them that I had high expectations, and I will be the one to complain loudly if it the change-out is not up to my high expectations and standards. I was not disappointed. You can find another contractor who is less expensive. You can buy a door from anyone, the key is hiring the right contractor to do quality work ~ especially when the installation is as important as the product itself. What good is a hurricane door if it leaks or does not stand up to hurricane winds? The vendor showed up to perform the work on the scheduled day. They were on time. They were courteous as I asked them 100 questions and cleaned up after themselves each day. Sadly, this is not always the case with a contractor. I would definitely recommend this company. I plan on using them again in the future. read more

Honestly, if you want (or need) your windows replaced at a fair price and in an effortless manner... call Armortech. Specifically, call Walt for the pricing and then get Aaron and Adrian to do the install. I had NO problems. Really, not a single issue. I replaced 18 windows with hurricane windows (with only 16 because Walt suggested a horizontal sliders for 2 - great idea!). I'd been wanting to do it for years but it was so expensive and I thought it was going to be a big hassle. Every large project I have ever done on the house has some issue... an unforeseen "problem" that somehow costs me more time and money. Walt assured me that there wouldn't be. I didn't believe him. But, he was right. One of the reasons I picked them is because they use only their own installers not outside contractors. I really liked that. The project went smoothly and they didn't come back to me with ANY additional costs, issues or problems. Yeah! And an added bonus is they let me charge without any additional fee it so I could get points. Double bonus! Now I'm all set for the next hurricane AND my next trip is already paid for in points!! read more

We had Armortech replace our front door with a hurricane rated impact glass door. From the sales process, through the install everything was incredibly excellent. The door itself is wonderfully constructed and beautiful and the install team was excellent in every way. The inspector from the county even commented that the install was beyond perfect and that Armortech did well beyond what was required to meet code. In addition to a technically excellent install job, Michael and Brian made sure that the finish work was perfect in every way. The weather was not cooperating through the install process and caused a slight delay; the company went out of their way to get the job done correctly respecting our home and our schedules at all times. Even our dogs loved these guys! I would not hesitate to recommend Armortech to anyone. Bravo! read more

We had Armortech replace all the windows and doors on our villa and are very pleased with the results. While we had to wait more than 6 months during shipping delayed as a result of the pandemic, it was worth the wait. Michelle was always cheerful as I called weekly for an update. Our crew masterly led by Austin, and included Brett and Leham were great. I especially appreciated Leham removing his shoes whenever he entered our home. Allan followed up with the final finishing touches after the inspection and did some helpful troubleshooting. A very nice young man did a good job on the painting; I think his name is Justin. We've noticed that our home is quieter and cooler (summertime). Throughout the process we felt comfortable and confidence in the people who provided the service as well as the quality of the product. read more

We can't say enough of the fantastic installation work of Aaron and Adrian at Armortech! What a team! We had done so much research before carefully choosing this company to replace our 10 windows, and boy are we glad. There was NO mess, they were on time and hard working, the caulking is pristine, they were mindful of things like closing the door to the room they were working in, they were so professional and communicative. I was prepared for this to be stressful as that is the nature of any massive home project but seriously this couldn't have gone smoother. It's so important to pick a company that uses their own installers trained for the window they are installing. Armortech does it right, and for the right price (I had 5+ estimates!). From start to finish, they are the best in town!! read more

Exceptional Service! My husband and I hired Armortech to install 3 patio doors, 3 doors, and 14 windows. We could not be happier with the process from purchase to install. The office always kept us informed as to delivery and install dates. Our installers were Brody and Jacob, who could not have been more thorough and efficient in their installation. They left no small detail to be overlooked. We always apprciated their promptness, politelness, efficiency and their cleanup! Our house is an older home where nothing was sqaure or level. Brody and Jacob worked efficiently to make everything look perfect! We could not be happier with their service and highly recommend Armortech and their trained team of professonals to complete your job read more

We just had impact windows installed after having our front door replaced a year ago. We did our due diligence and shopped around. Many companies sell and install the same named windows. We found in both instances that Armortech was professional and honest from start to finish. The gentlemen that installed our windows, Austin & Brett, were knowledgeable and professional. They gave us comfort in knowing that the installation was not being rushed but installed correctly, after all, what good are impact windows if they aren't installed well? As a bonus, these 2 men are pleasant to have around your home all day. Kudos to Rick and his whole team for a well run company. read more

Yesterday Aaron Skonecki did an exceptional job installing our new impact window door. Aaron was so polite, efficient and professional. It was a scorching hot day and he had to remove the old door and all the trim and then installed the new door and all the finish work, all without the assistance of another team member - just amazing! He was very focused on every detail - he even took the time to ensure that the new programed door pad worked, the alarm was reinstalled and that everything was neat and cleaned up before he left. The door looks and operates perfectly and Aaron's finish work inside and out looks fantastic. Thank you for a great experience with your company. read more

From my mother, who just had windows and slider installed pre Dorian: Amortech did an excellent job installing my hurricane windows. The order came in on schedule, work started within the week and was completed in 3 days. The workmen were efficient, well-trained and replaced all furniture and blinds exactly as found. They thoroughly vacuumed work areas indoors and out. Lastly, the county inspector approved the windows as installed perfectly. From me, from start to finish, Armortech has remained a pleasure to do business with. No question, this is an outstanding company with excellent customer service and beautiful finished product. A true 5 star! read more

We ordered new windows and a slider from Armortech. They replaced original 1972 windows in our condo. Rick was terrific in sales. He worked at a window company near our hometown for years and he is honest and knows his business. Dustin and Travis were our installation team and they were great. They are meticulous and pointed out things we would never have noticed and made great suggestions about record keeping too. A terrific company to work with! read more

This is the second time I have had Armortech install windows and/or doors (regular and sliders) in my house. They are top notch! Very professional, everything is done right the first time, and they are very clean. It took 4 days to complete the installation. Liam and Franz were the installers. They were on time every day. They covered all of our furniture and cleaned up at the end of each day. They found a structural problem and called Rick Laitenberger to access the problem. Rick came up with the solution. The installers did an excellent job with the repair. High quality product with exceptional support. I highly recommend Armortech read more

We had a wonderful experience with the installation of our hurricane impact resistant windows and doors for our entire home that was built in 1996. Rick and his staff kept us informed during the delays in delivery due to COVID's impact on delivery of parts from other countries.
