We have used Window Panes twice now and they have been lifesavers! They literally have saved us thousands of dollars. They are knowledgeable, honest and professional, and they are here for the long haul, unlike some of those fly-by-night guys who are out to make a quick buck and close up shop to move in to their next victims. Today they serviced our sliding glass door (replaced rollers, cleaned the track, did final adjustments to ensure a smooth glide). They were done in less than an hour and the final bill was $200. Another company quoted us $600 just for labor, and said the rollers would cost us another $500-$600! I can't believe that I found such an outstanding company as Window Panes. I met Mark Smith a few years ago when my builder sent him to repair a couple of stuck windows in our new home. I then called him recently when the home we were purchasing had several foggy windows. Mark's estimate was quite reasonable to replace the panes rather than the whole windows. He was also able to include screens for all of the windows in his delivery. The supplier messed up the parts a bit, but Mark worked through it and made sure that my home had all clear windows and that my screens all fit. I cannot recommend this company highly enough! They were fantastic! I called Window Panes Inc because the slider on my lanai would only open part way. The aluminum frame was sagging and not allowing the slider to roll freely. Another company told me I would have to replace the entire frame which would be quite expensive. However, Mark and his assistant looked at the problem and were able to make a simple adjustment. Now my door slides all the way open! Additionally, I was having trouble with the screen door on the lanai. I had taken it off to wash the sliding doors and put it back on incorrectly so it was jammed and on backwards. Once again Mark and his assistant made a few adjustments, took the door off and replaced it correctly. Even though they made the trip to my house and spent 10-15 minutes helping me, they didn't even charge me! Now that never happens! They said that I was on their route and they were happy to help. I am 100% confident that they would offer fair pricing for any job. You can be sure I'll be calling them again if I need any kind of window or sliding door repair.
