The Handy Brit crew reinstalled our kitchen cabinets. The installation of the cabinets was fine. The mounting of the granite was uneven . We also had asked him to replace the baseboard, he charged us $120 , never replaced it . Instead, he nailed back the old one on the wall. When we questioned the job and said that the original was never replaced he got very defensive and told us that he was not going to work with us anymore. The original job was quoted at $3800.00 and the final bill came in at $4300.00 . $500 extra from the original quote. He never informed us what the $500 extra was for. Beware of Paul the Brit. We certainly will never use him again. read more

Fantastic. Highly recommend. Great quality, good value. Used to help with odd jobs. Did not dissapoint. Would use again.

We've used Paul and his team at least four or five times. We save up several jobs at one time as they have a two hour minimum. They really listen well and guarantee satisfaction. All The Handy people are easy to work with. I highly recommend this company. read more

We are extremely satisfied with the excellent work done by Tnayo Turner. Tnayo was on time, courteous and worked relentlessly to execute all of our requests. We had our old dryer vent sealed that's in the garage (inside and out); house number sign put up and a beautiful wood trellis installed on the front of our home. We look forward to working with The Handy Brit for our next project. Thank you so much! read more

Did an excellent job, very friendly and professional, I highly recommend them. They wee on time, excellent and came in under the estimate.

I was shocked to realize that the business model of this company is to estimate the time a job will take, have the customer agree, send someone to do the job, job doesnt get done in the time that was estimated, and then customer is left to start the whole process over in order to get it finished. Literally no plan to get the job done if it isn't finished in the time that the actual owner estimates in the quote. And then there is no follow up by the company to schedule completion. I foolishly went along with it, called to schedule completion of the job and it took weeks to get someone else out to finish. It was like i was a new customer all over again. And then I get someone different to finish the work - and he didn't finish! I've never experienced anything like it. Almost like it's purposeful to keep jacking up the cost of a simple project. Ultimately, I ended up paying much more than the job should have cost. Terrible experience. read more

I cant say enough wonderful things about Paul ,Tim ,Greg and Curtis. They all were amazing to work with and such professionals. They completely renovated our condo into our dream vacation home. read more

We hired Paul (The Handy Brit) to do a laundry list of tasks prior to moving into our new house: install light fixtures, change faucets and door knobs, install a wood closet system, put new anchor screws into our lanai frame. He and his helper did them all, and well. Their "office" (Paul's spouse) is super efficient too. Providing written estimates and fair billing. Paul showed up as promised, executed flawlessly, and wrapped up in time. Can't ask for more than that! Cute truck too, painted with Union Jack colors. read more

Great job done by professionals ! Couldn't be happier with work, price, and in all dealings with The Handy Brit!

Paul and his crew are awesome . I understand these busy times but they were very helpful in our time of need to get the project done . Seriously, thanks read more

Arrived at appointed time. Workers did an amazing job replacing surround on my chimney. Definitely recommend this company!

Excellent work - very professional. Honest pricing - no surprises. I have a second story deck that was rotting out. I had hired two separate handyman teams to fix it; in both cases they kept changing the terms on me, charging me more and more money, and, in both cases, ultimately abandoned the project. The Handy Brit did precisely what I wanted with no games-playing, and the deck is gorgeous. I would definitely use them again. read more

I bought a condo and was going to try to lay the luxury vinyl plank flooring myself. I met Paul and he gave me some pointers and then I realized I should not do it myself. I am so glad I met him and even more grateful that I hired him. He did a great job better and faster than I could have done. He even did the baseboard and trim. Awesome job! Thanks Paul! read more

The Handy Brit - The handy Brit handyman doing a great job putting down my luxury vinyl plank in my condo - Flooring Near Me - Sarasota, Florida

We went through quite a few handyman company's over the past 17-years while living in the Sarasota area. Unfortunately finding one that is honest, on time, does the job they quote and having the finished product look as it should has proved ridiculously difficult to find. Then we recently found "The Handy Brit" and we would NOT THINK of using anyone else after hiring Paul several times over the last couple months to do various jobs. During our initial meeting we were so very impressed with Paul's professional demeanor, appearance and explanation of services that we were sure his quote for services was going to be high. Surprisingly his quote was lower than what we had expected and the finished product was better than we could have ever imagined, especially for the price!! A few of things you can "Guarantee" with The Handy Brit are; honesty, being on-time, professional demeanor from start to finish, extremely reasonable quotes, excellent communication, complete transparency relating to costs, job being completed in a timely manner and the end result being nothing less than professional! We don't write many reviews, but we could NOT let the exceptional work and prices that The Handy Brit delivers go unnoticed, that would be nothing less than unprofessional on our part! read more

Driveway repair/French drain installation - I had many home repairs and projects small to large. Paul got me an estimate right away. I was put in the schedule, I made some changes to the work and Paul was responsive, showed up on time, he and his crew were focused, experienced, went over the job with me and asked approval for any changes, very conscientious in their work, kept the site clean and asked for input before completing the job to make sure I was satisfied.
