It was a great experience all around. Maria was great to work with. Very responsive. The price was right and it looks great.

    Royal Remodeling & Design

We chose Royal Remodeling & Design after a strong referral from a neighbor, and after completing…read moretwo full bathroom remodels and a custom fireplace feature wall, it was absolutely the right decision. Going in, my main concerns were pricing and the quality of the trades, especially based on past experiences. Those concerns disappeared quickly. The craftsmanship was top-level across the board -- tile installation, plumbing, electrical, and finishing were all done with precision. No crooked tiles, no shortcuts, just clean, high-quality work throughout. Communication was excellent from start to finish. We had daily updates, and the project manager Viktor kept everything on track, always responsive and solution-oriented. The entire process was organized, smooth, and professionally managed. The results truly stand out. The fireplace creates a dramatic focal point the moment you walk into the room, with clean lines and precise execution. Both bathrooms have completely different styles and feel like stepping into a high-end spa. We selected Fabuwood cabinets, Cambria quartz countertops, and custom tile, and the final outcome exceeded expectations. The crew was professional, respectful, on time, and kept the job site clean every day. Everything was done in the right sequence with strong attention to detail. What sets Royal Remodeling & Design apart is their professionalism, communication, and execution. If you're looking for a general contractor in Sarasota for full bathroom remodels, with a true designer showroom in downtown Sarasota, this is the team to go with. Easily one of the best general contractors in the area. We've already received many compliments from friends and neighbors and couldn't be happier with the finished product. Highly recommend.

We love our home, but it is now getting close to 20 years old and getting a bit dated. We decided…read moreit was time to completely redo (down to the studs) our kitchen, wet bar, entertainment center, and fireplace. We hired our own designer, and she created a preliminary design so we would have an effective way to communicate what we wanted to our potential contractors. Next, we started interviewing contractors. We talked to contractor after contractor and could not find anyone we felt could do the job, we felt comfortable working with and were open to using our design. Finally, we met Stan from Royal Remodeling and Design. He was the first designer we spoke with who inspired our confidence, had great ideas to add to our design, and a realistic approach to the project. Stan was easy to work with, responsive, and helpful. He was able to expand the room around our central island, so now two or more people can easily work in the kitchen at once. He changed the cabinet sizes from custom to semi-custom, which had no impact on the finished product but saved us a significant amount of money. He provided us with a detailed design for the project. Having this detailed design was a key reason the project went so smoothly, and we were so pleased in the end. When it was time to start construction, Vic took over the project. Royal set up a group text, and we knew every day who was coming and when. We really appreciated Royal's respect for our time and almost daily communication. Whenever any issue arose, we knew we could text Royal and they would be right on it. Vic was at our home most days and was on top of every aspect of the project. Simply great project management and quick problem solving. Royal had relationships with all the vendors we needed to work with for our appliance, tile, granite, and plumbing. We were able to make appointments with their vendors and get the help we needed to pick these out. From there, Royal took over and placed the orders and coordinated all the deliveries. One of the most crucial elements for us was having a dedicated team working on the project. The guys were great, and they all worked well together. The quality of their work was outstanding. Incredibly meticulous. They made many small customizations which took the entire project to the next level. We still cannot believe how beautiful everything came out. They came on time, worked in an unobtrusive manner, and cleaned up after themselves every day before they left. They were respectful of our home, and us. This included the cabinets, tile work, wood working, painting, countertops, electrical, and plumbing. Due to the detailed design, talented team, great project management, and quality work, they were able to complete our project on time and on budget. I recommend Royal Remodel and Design without hesitation. We liked them so much we just hired them to remodel our laundry room!

The Shower Shop - Steam Unit Frameless Shower Enclosure by The Shower Shop

    The Shower Shop

The Shower Shop ROCKS!…read more Renovating can be a nerve-wracking and costly experience. We hire the professionals to make the magic happen, and we expect the outcome to be breathtaking. We subbed out our bathroom renovation to keep our costs down. The procedure of doing it this way can be extremely tedious, but in the end we (as customers) get to pick and choose who we want to make that magic happen.  The shower glass was the last thing needed to complete our bathroom renovation; it was like the final bling, the frosting on the cake, if you will. We reached out to several glass companies for estimates and received your typical responses (if any at all). Some companies returned our call for an estimate but only after the job had already been completed by someone else (The Shower Shop), and sadly, some never returned our call at all. Most companies that did respond quoted estimates without seeing our job or taking any measurements. From the very first (and only) call for an estimate from The Shower Shop, we spoke with the receptionist, who was only too happy to schedule our visit with a professional to measure and quote our job. She asked how thick of glass we wanted, and when we told her the approximate length of glass needed, we could hear somebody in the background telling her that glass of our size should be a minimum thickness of 1/2" as not to be flimsy. We had the warm fuzzies from that moment on that The Shower Shop was going to deliver not only a beautiful shower but a safe one too! Our appointment was scheduled for the very next week for someone to come out and take measurements. We were a little taken back when the general manager himself came to our home and did the actual measuring. He didn't just pull out a measuring tape; he carefully measured our bathroom wall, ceiling, and shower ledge with a laser level, explaining every step of the way. He shared with us that although our bathroom wasn't perfectly straight or level (which no home is), our glass would be level, sturdy, and a beautiful addition to our new shower. He made suggestions that were overlooked by us and our tile installer that were appreciated. After all, that's why we hire the professionals. Our installation date was scheduled two weeks out, which was perfect because we had other things to schedule and complete before our glass arrived. Our glass was actually ready for installation just shy of the two-week date given by the general manager. We were ahead of schedule and ready for the install. The receptionist was great with communicating our appointment as well as reminder calls throughout. I get it... they're a busy company who want every job to go as smoothly as ours did, and I respect that. The crew of two arrived to install our shower glass. They were as friendly and professional as the receptionist and Gary, the general manager of The Shower Shop. Our new shower glass was installed in just under 2 hours. The results? Our shower glass was not only level, but it was sturdy and beautiful, just as we were told it would be. One thing I would like to mention is the option of having your glass treated with a protective coating by Diamon-Fusion. This protective coating eliminates the hard water spots and soap scum that tend to build up in your shower, not to mention cuts down on heavy cleaning with harsh chemicals. I'm not sure if other glass companies are offering this as an option, but no other glass company mentioned it. Both the general manager and the installers shared a glass cleaner called Sprayway that's a couple of dollars cheaper than most glass cleaners, has no ammonia, smells pleasant, and can be purchased at most any store. This glass cleaner is awesome and leaves no streaks! Overall, we were very pleased with our decision to have The Shower Shop install our glass. They were friendly, professional, punctual, accommodating, and great with communicating. They offered suggestions that only added to the beauty and aesthetics of our bathroom.  I would highly recommend this company to anyone needing glass and plan to call on them again for our next bathroom shower project! I would rate this company 5 out of 5 stars for their stellar performance and the job delivered as promised!

Pricing was competitive and initial lead time was 1.5 weeks after measuring. Unfortunately, the…read moreshower door came from their supplier damaged and the incorrectly sized half wall panel was not checked for accuracy to the confirmed 2nd measurement prior to installation . This lead to a 3 week preventable delay. Also, the 'no or minimal silicone' that sold us on them turned into silicone throughout and 1/4" silicone on the half wall sadly. would look for a local supplier (one stop shop) in the future.

****UPDATE**** Tomorrow will be a WEEK since your people…read morehave told me they issued a refund on April 15th. I HAVE NOT received a refund to date and i have contacted my credit card company multiple times and there is nothing pending. They told me i would get a notification on my account if Cabinets to Go has issued a refund. This has gone far too long with not getting my money back in a reasonable time and the store manager only tells me its up to my credit card company. I have had other refunds over the past couple days to include on a holiday and i got immediate notification of a pending refund. Why cant i get my money back from Cabinets to Go. This has been an extremely terrible experience from a place and never in my life had to wait this long for a refund and would ever recommend this company to anyone. My husband and i were in the store back on Feb 15th. We ordered 3 bathroom vanities, paid for them and also paid $99 for someone to come out and verify measurements for install. Fast forward to March 3rd, I texted Michael, who is the salesman that helped us throughout the sale and confirmed that we are ready for install the week of April 14th. He also confirmed back in text the week of April 14th. Fast forward to April 13th, which is a Sunday, i haven't heard from Michael or anyone for that matter from Cabinets to Go regarding what day they were coming during the week of the 14th, so i placed a call and had to leave a message as he was off. I then called on Monday, April 15th to speak with Michael and explain that we are ready and i hadn't heard anything and we confirmed for this week and i expressed hoping for the 18th, 19th or the 21st at the latest because i go on vacation next week and he then says " I don't see a text message" about that. I said well i have it on my phone still and you confirmed and he said i will call the installers and get back to you. I never heard back from him the remaining of the day and here it is Tuesday afternoon and still nothing so i placed ANOTHER call to follow up only to be told that i am not getting cabinets because there is a Docusign that was never signed and they cant release the sale until its signed. What in the actual F*CK? Why in the hell did it take OVER a month for you to tell me something needs to be signed after we have already 1. placed the order in store and paid and got all the paperwork and 2. confirmed a scheduled week over a month ago? This is not acceptable business practice and i asked to speak to a manager. Daniel the "manager" gets on the phone and was no help what so ever and probably the most useless person ever and just said well we cant do anything until we get a docusign and then what? Wait weeks again? This has got the be the worst company and customer service i have ever dealt with and i am in the customer service business myself. Sad sad.
