Great service at this location! Luis, Joseph, and Terry went above and beyond to track the stacked stone we wanted to order that was not available in store at that time. Very helpful and professional! read more

This is a great store, and customer service is over the top. We have always had very positive experiences. Huge inventory. Most recently, we shopped with Morgan, and she helped us select everything we needed for two bathroom updates. She was very professional, extremely knowledgable and helpful, and spend as much time as we needed with her. I would highly recommend the store and Morgan, and we will definitely shop there again, when needed. read more

My husband/I are having an old tub removed and the area converted to a walk-in shower. I wanted guidance choosing tile, so I made a consultation appointment. I was assigned to Norma and meeting with her was a wonderful experience. I took in samples of our bathroom cabinets/floor/wall color, and she worked with me for over an hour (longer than the normal time listed for consultation) advising as well as answering all my questions. I went back a few days later to narrow the choices and again Norma was great as she worked with me. The next day, my husband/I visited the store and placed the order; again, Norma assisted us and it was a very positive experience. We highly recommend working with Norma for consultation needs. She is both personable and professional, extremely (!) knowledgeable about her field, and patient answering any/all questions. She is an excellent asset for both customers and the store! N. I was in the store to purchase tile for two baths and flooring throughout our condo. Dani did an excellent job. She helped me with tile choices, grout, and schluter. She was patient, kind, and has an eye for design. The perfect person for this type of work. read more

The staff was extremely helpful and very knowledgeable about their products. The only drawback was that the tile I wanted was on display but, the store didn't have it. The prices were very reasonable compared to what we saw elsewhere. read more

We had an APPOINTMENT with a design consultant at the Sarasota store on University and Lockwood. We were on time; we waited a bit, and were told by an employee she just got there and would be with us soon. ( our appointment was at 11:00 AM). After a bit more time, another employee told us she had decided to take the day off. We had driven almost an hour to get to the appointment!!! And this employee didn't even have the professional courtesy to call us BEFORE WE LEFT to let us know????? Completely unacceptable!!!!!!!! If I could select zero stars, I would! read more

I'm always happy to shop for tile and these two past years brought along two major projects, a home remodel and a new construction build. I am also inclined to say that tile selection is one of the most impactful components of your design and certainly reflects your style. We've shopped the local independent tile stores as well as the big box chain stores. Floor & Dacor offers an amazing selection of product at what appears to me as the best pricing in town. The tiles are well organized, easy to find, and labeled with the price. The staff is helpful and will make recommendations if you want their assistance. There's also a pro-desk to help you if you are working with a building contractor on your tile project. Floor & Dacor will deliver your tiles to the job site or you can pick them up. Either way, they have everything you need for your next tile job. The building is located in a strip mall with plenty of free offstreet parking. Now you have no excuse - get started on that next project. Enjoy! read more

Shopping here with Joseph at the Pro Desk and Ryan, the manager, made picking out the right floors for the right price a super easy experience. They were invaluable with picking out the product, price, and their patient customer service made it all less daunting. I can only recommend this store! read more

Outstanding from start to finish. Unbelievable selection. Value proved equal to big box stores. Customer service was excellent, including when I returned $200 worth of tiles I did not need. Buffy was the last person of many who performed exactly the way customer service snobs like myself want to see in a retail outlet. read more

Your store was the only store I could find in Venice and Sarasota area to carry the Travertine Repair Kit I was looking for and more affordable than what Amazon sold. Mother-in-law had to redo ENTIRE home....gut two bathrooms to the bare-bones, new kitchen countertops, new flooring throughout, completely replace stone in her lanai and it was a complete SUCCESS. We only only have ERIN MILANO to thank. She is amazing!! We can't give her enough gold stars. Seriously a professional who KNOWS what she is doing. Top-notch designer. Ask for her when booking an appointment. She won't disappoint. ERIN MILANO thank you,, thank you!!!! read more

Huge selection. Scott, one of their design coordinators, also not only helped me pick out exactly the look we were going for for our bathroom redo, but he was also a huge lifesaver. I was shopping with my two little ones and about to leave cuz they were becoming a handful trying to shop with and Scott came to the rescue. I showed home a pic I saved from online and he walked around with me and grabbed exactly what I needed to get the look I was going for. Thanks for saving the day, Scott! Highly recommend! read more

I will never come back to this place again! They never discussed the delivery with me, and they insisted in the waiver that I provide two people in the house to help them unload. I paid them $500 for the delivery, and I need to give people. Excuse me? Customer phone services are not responding, so what's the point of having that on your websites? read more

I experienced an unfortunate incident with my LPV order and I had a return and an exchange. I was so stressed out but Anna Sanche z, the manager at F&D, gave me incredible customer service which relaxed me and eased my mind. Also extremely helpful was David, an associate. You can't go wrong when both products, prices, AND exemplary customer service go hand in hand as part of a shopping experience. I would definitely recommend Floor and Decor. read more

See Stephanie!! The first time I walked in to choose tile for new kitchen and baths, I was completely overwhelmed and filled with anxiety as there were so many choices. I made an appointment to come back to see Stephanie (design expert) and could not be happier. She understood my style, my goals, my budget, and within an hour had helped me make all my selections. She gave me a print out of my choices and estimated costs and even emailed me a copy. Stephanie was then able to send and share the data with contractor. I would refer any friend to see Stephanie at Floor & Decor on Lockwood Ridge in Sarasota. read more

Don't go anywhere else for tile! The price and selection can't be beat. Dedre Cooper, a senior designer at Floor and Decor helped us find just the right tile and grout for our game room. She was very patient, listening to our needs. She was very knowledgeable. She made all the estimates and forwarded them directly to an installer in our area. It was all so easy and the price was right! We were even able to buy a sample tile to make sure it would match our existing tiles. Thanks Dedre. read more

I asked 3 different women today for help in finding some itemized products I had on a list. They all rolled their eyes and definitely did not want to help me. One lady (all spoke Spanish) said she was busy and then went on her phone. read more

They are always short staffed. And if you do find somebody, you're rushed because there's people waiting behind you for help. The employees are not professionally trained to help design, kitchens bathrooms or anything for that matter. Also, if you need to get a hold of them by phone, don't bother because you will not get answered so basically if you're going in there, know that your on your own to pick everything out yourself! read more

Just your normal Floor&Decor selection, however, the worst help I've ever run into at a Floor&Decor. One lady was helpful. But nobody else in the store was helpful. I was outside in the truck under the overhang and my friend was inside asking for loading assistance. It was raining and my friend asked the cashier three times about assistance and twice the cashier asked one of her male co-workers about helping load, as we had 12 boxes of tile, two large bags of mortar, a large bag of grout, and multiple bags of tile spacers. Finally my friend spoke to McKenna in the design department radioed for assistance and Dee came from the back of the store and immediately started to load without any hesitation. After he loaded several boxes of tiles, then and only then, did three other coworkers who wouldn't assist previously came out to assist. Thank you McKenna and Dee! Five stars to McKenna and Dee! read more

GREAT EXPERIENCE and stellar employee, (Donald). I spent a great deal of time looking for just the right material to build a TV/Fireplace accent wall for my home. I found my way to Floor & Decor. They had a large selection of stone that looked as if it would work for my project. It was on that first visit I met Donald who is responsible for the stone works area of the store. Donald spent quite a bit of time with myself and my wife explaining the in the material, how it differed in manufacture, workability etc. It took several visits to the store after taking home samples and figuring out which would work in my home before I settled on the DelSol version. Each time I went back I worked with Donald and on each visit he was patient and helpful in talking me through what it would take to do the job. My confidence grew and as I built out the wall I stopped in again to speak to Donald about how best to deal with my unique situation. In the end, I managed to build a great looking wall that came out even better than I could have imagined. Had it not been for Donald, I would have likely been working with a different vendor and paying for an installation/build out. I have worked in sales much of my life and know a good "salesperson" when I see one. Donald is just that! Put the customer first, invest in their success and business will follow. Great job Donald! read more

My husband and I shop at this store faithfully for all of our remodels. Our number one reason is because we have help from an employee there named Donald. Every time we visit the store he is there and he is working hard. Even when he's so busy he takes his time to come over and help us with what we need. We are always happy and get what we need to get. Our whole family gets help from Donald as well. We love the selections but the help we get from him is the number one reason why we visit this store. Thank you Donald !!!!!!! Let me tell you about this joint. My wife and I stopped in to get some ideas for our back splash and wood flooring. Floor and Decor has hundreds of back splash choices and thousands of tile choices as well as dozens of wood flooring options. I think we spent 3 hours there before finding exactly what we wanted. This however is not why we give it 5 stars. We give it 5 stars because they went out of their way to make sure we got exactly what we wanted. They were short 1 box of tile for the back splash and offered to pick the box up, on their own personal time and bring it to the store. Then, when that was taken care of, they spent 2 hours with us showing us exactly what we needed to do our wood floors and how to do it. If you need and flooring or a back splash please go and check out Floor and Decor. They will not disappoint you. I promise. read more

The selection is great and the people are nice BUT.... My contractor picked up the tile for the shower...... we are ready to tile and realize that he was give 3 different types of floor tile. Make sure you check over everything you buy and do not start the job until you have everything you need actually in your hands. Just because they said they have it in stock, does not mean the warehouse actually has it. I was also charged for tile for my laundry room that I was told was in stock when I paid for it. Contractor was there to pick it up, and they said it will be in next month. At that point the store has you over a barrel and you have to pick something else from them that they have there because your contractor is ready to do the work. So 2 for 2.... messed up the shower floor and the laundry room floor. They are lucky there is not very much competition in the direct area. read more
