Armando made a custom enclosure for our shower. It looks great!! I'm so glad we found him here on yelp.

We had them back out a few weeks ago to give us an estimate to enclose a side courtyard. Jay came out the next day, took measurements, and gave us a quote. He said that due to the width of the opening and us wanting a sliding glass door, he would have to frame the opening to accommodate the sliding glass door. He provided us with several options and we picked the best one that suited us. Jay immediately started framing and when the glass pieces came in, he and his crew came out and finished the framing and installation. Just like the last time, we are extremely pleased with the workmanship, appearance, and pricing. If you need glass work, no job is too big or too small for the Gurus!!!

We used this company in 2020 for a doggy door to be installed in to our sliding glass door at our…read morelast house and the experience was 5/5 stars, so I definitely recommend them for this. We bought a new house and remodeled the guest shower. We've used a different shower glass company multiple times in the past for our last house we remodeled and LOVE that company but figured this time around we could try Glass Guru for this newly remodeled shower because they are more local and our previous experience with them was great! Unfortunately, this experience was subpar, 2/5 stars (hence my 3/5 star rating, I split the difference between my two experiences with this company). Setting up the estimate appt was easy and they came out quickly. The estimate arrived promptly as well. We decided to pull the trigger and that's slightly where it went downhill. Due to the tile we used, I did ask the estimator Jay what option would be best. Floating shower doors or a set up that had metal trim around the whole thing that holds the glass in a more sturdy manner.. he said either would work. When the guys came to install, they didn't really seem to know what they were doing. The end result looked very sloppy, the clear silicone looked like it was pasted on by a 5 year old and a black trim piece placed along the bottom was crooked. When I mentioned this to Jay, he said he would happily replace the trim piece but would need to order it. When I told him this was our only real "complaint" he followed up with a statement "well, so I have a complaint now, the tile you used is really thin". Um, ok, what does that have to do with this situation?! I asked from the beginning what shower glass would be best and was told that any would be ok but now we're talking about how thin my tile is?! What a very odd statement to make to a customer AFTER install. This should be assessed prior to install AND I asked what glass set up would be best for our shower. Anyhow, 2-3 weeks went by after mentioning all of this and complete silence. I had to actually call to ask when this new trim piece would be installed and then they finally set up the appt. When a customer has an issue with something, they shouldn't be the one to have to call and follow up, right? The same kids came to install the new piece and they did a better job but as I sit here today writing this, no one has followed up with me to see how everything looks now. The customer service is non existent with this company. I will definitely be returning to Exquisite Shower Glass in Corona for my next shower remodel, not Glass Guru. They might be good at some glass related things but sliding shower glass doors don't seem to be it.

We had already explained that the existing windows in the apartment I rent were not tempered glass and specifically asked them to be careful and tape the window down first. Unfortunately, they ended up breaking the window, and one of their employees was injured pretty badly in the process, having to be rushed to the hospital--which I genuinely feel bad about. Afterward, they left a mess throughout the entire area they had been working in, including upstairs. There was trash and debris left everywhere by the other worker that left one guy here to clean up only after I told him there was screens and old piece he left by the other worker everywhere. I simply asked for a rag or mop to help clean up the small pieces of glass for the safety of my children and furry friends. Broken glass can cause serious injuries and, if it cuts someone, can potentially lead to infection. Instead of helping or taking my concerns seriously, I was yelled at, threatened, and told that there was no glass and to "get the h*** out." I completely understand that accidents happen and that everyone can have a bad day. However, there is absolutely no excuse for treating someone that way, especially when you're working inside their home. Being told that I "better watch who I'm talking to" is completely unacceptable and extremely unprofessional. More so when I asked for a rag only! I would expect anyone entering someone's home to be respectful, clean up after themselves, and act professionally, regardless of the circumstances. At the very least, I should have been able to express a legitimate safety concern about broken glass in my home without being threatened or spoken to disrespectfully. Note that both stated they were managers! If you value professional work and ethics.... GO ELSE WHERE!!
