After reading glowing reviews, I called Hyperion to ask if hey could schedule the installation, expecting to wait a few days. Instead the guy on the phone said to bring it in at 10:30 the next day. I didn't get there as a tweak in the door itself caused my overhead lights to stay on and drain my battery. I arranged for a friend to take me home, expecting to leave the car for at lrast the afternoon. But manager (I did not get hois name) said it would just be a half hour. He called over a ytechnician and 20 minutes later the car was ready! I had some body damage and the manager quoted me a price apologetically, noting that Lexus Parts are super expensive. I said well, it's a 15 year old car - probably isn't even worth the cost of the repairs. I started to walk away and stopped, turned and said, "Wait, I haven't paid you!" And he said, "no charge". I was dumbfounded and only hope I thanked him emough. Great work, fast, and even complimentary. I'm in awe. Go there!

The repair itself is flawless, panel gaps, paint match, everything lines up like it came off the line that way. On a G-Wagon that's not a given; plenty of shops will happily take a swing at one and hand you back something that's almost right. This isn't that. But the part that really made the difference was the insurance side. Dealing with the at-fault carrier is normally a part-time job you didn't apply for, endless calls, lowball estimates, supplements that go nowhere. Alex handled all of it. He knew exactly what to push back on and how to document it, and I basically just got updates instead of headaches. Zero fighting on my end. He also does diminished value reports, which I didn't even know was a thing I should be asking about. A car like this loses real money on paper just from having an accident on the record, and he walked me through recovering that. Most vehicles today are digital and a great benefit of that is receiving digital alerts on the dash board when something needs attention. My Honda Accord was alerting me to "Check charge system". I took my car to JT Mechanic and met with Lilly who handles billing. Once a mechanic went to check out my vehicle I pointed out the alert on the dash. Lilly explained that there would be a $200 charge for running a test and locating the problem within the charge system, and if I agreed to have them do the repair, then half of that fee would go towards the total cost. I was called the following day to let me know that the test was completed. When I arrived to speak with Lilly, I was told that something was wrong with the charge system. I asked if they located the problem and she said no, not yet. Then I asked "so why am I being charged if my car already told you what the problem was?" Her reply was "just trust your Mechanic and everything will be fine". I got burned by JT Mechanic!

To be fair, the carbon fiber parts I brought in were in pretty rough shape to begin with, so it wasn't exactly an easy job. The final result came out really good, especially the color match. My Corvette is yellow, which can be tough to match, and honestly I don't think I've had another shop get the yellow this close before. I was really impressed with how it turned out. Things didn't go perfectly the first time, but Gary stood behind the work and made sure I was happy in the end. That says a lot to me.
