This place sure knows how to lose a potential customer! Called ahead of time to ask how I can go about a quote for some scratches and scuffs on my car. Over the phone he said a verbal quote is free and a printed invoice/quote is $100 - that's fine, I wanted a verbal quote because I'm just looking around different places to see which place is best fit to get my car done. I show up maybe 20 minutes later, and here is how the following interaction went with the owner. Him: "Can i see your registration?" I walk to get the registration, before I hand it to him, I simply ask "What do you need the registration for?" He says "It has all your information" I say "I want a verbal report - not a written/printed estimate" He says "Oh really? OK, well can I see your registration" I say "Ok, but what do you need it for?" - genuine question here, not trying to be difficult whatsoever , just curious. Am I not allowed to ask questions here? I've gotten plenty of quotes in the past without this needed. He says " Do you want me to help you or not?" in an aggressive tone. I'm taken aback .. I put my hands up in like a 'woah wait a minute" manner, and then I say "Excuse me sir... I'm allowed to ask questions" Then he says " DO YOU WANT MY HELP OR NOT" - still an aggressive tone At this point - I don't even get a chance to respond, he throws his hands up, mutters "you know what.." then just walks away. What an unbelievable experience. Over a simple question - was more than happy to hand over the registration if it was needed for a verbal quote. Just wanted to know why? The shop manager worked with me closely via email and responded quickly to my emails. The shop manager corresponded with my insurance directly and I did not have to worry about anything. The timeframe that was provided at the start was filfilled. The process from start to end was flawless. Picking my car was easy as well. The shop manager again worked with me and waiting for me to get off of work at 5pm and stayed to wait for my partner and I to come pick up my car. Job done is excellent. I took my 2017 Camry. I have to say this business does unauthorized transactions. DAVID Kim filed a claim without my authorization. David is a crooked individual. I called him to ask why did he file a claim without my authorization and he said he could do whatever he wants. Furthermore the job that he did was very poor- I went three times and those three times the car was not ready. . Do not do business here unless you want David to do unauthorized transactions. My car looks new! I can't thank David and team for not only a great repair but service. I brought in my Honda Fit expecting to pay out of pocket. David saves me from paying thousands! He educated me that my premium won't go up if I file claim with my insurance. I assumed since I didn't know who damaged my car when I parked in on the street I couldn't use my insurance without affecting my rate. Wrong. Insurance also verified it won't affect my premium. Hi, good guys, just to inform you what happened to me last year in this location, it was actually my second time going to that place, and everything was fine, but the second time it was Mr. David C. Kim. Since he is the person in charge of doing the paperwork for the insurance, he told me that on this occasion I would make 2 claims at once, but to keep my story short, my deductibles are $1,000 each, and I had the I made a bad decision to pay him 1,500 in cash and he did not give me a receipt for that money and I only charged 400 from the card since, according to what he gave me, he gave me a 100-dollar discount, and I only do this so that they take care of that person since he told the owner that I had only paid for a single claim and then I received a bill for the rental of the car that according to David had told me not to worry that he was going to take care of it and after 6 months I received a letter that They were going to send it to collection if he didn't pay that money. My front bumper ripped off my Yaris when it got caught on a weight set in my garage. I was super worried that it was gonna be an issue since lots of the fastening components were broken. I drove up to One Collision Center at opening and the gentlemen there quickly were able to fix the situation, making it look like nothing had happened. I was impressed by how they were able to work around issues with the broken components to make it very secure. I offered to pay them but they refused and said it's all good. I liked this neighborhood joint a lot. I called in and talked to David. He gave me their email to send in photos for a quote. They got me a quote overnight, which was very fair, and was even a little lower than my insurance had originally quoted (and you know insurance lowballs). We did it all via email. When I went in I was worried about COVID and all, but they had sanitizer available and people were wearing masks. They had to repair and repaint my bumper so they had it for the week. David was super friendly and finished service exactly at the time they had promised. When I picked up my car, they had thoroughly washed my car along with a full clean of the interior. It was almost as good as a detail - which was a really nice touch. My car looks great, good as new, and I felt that One Collision was trustworthy and honest. They appear to do a lot of insurance jobs and seem to be very well versed there. I will definitely keep them in mind if I ever have a claim as well. David is money hungry and VERY DISRESPECTFUL! My car was involved in an accident so I towed my car here. David was very pushy from the moment I arrived. I sat in my car as I called my insurance to make a claim and contact an adjuster. David came and knocked on my window while I was on the phone rushing and pressuring me to make a decision and eventually told me I had to leave after.
