We stopped into Sun Singer for a lunch break during a business trip, and it ended up being one of…read morethe highlights of our time in the area. It's a wonderfully unique space--part wine and spirits shop, part lively daytime dining room--with a steady flow of customers browsing bottles alongside a full bar and tables occupied by ladies who lunch and retirees enjoying a relaxed weekday afternoon. It is a surprisingly chic space for Champaign. The dining room was busy enough that there would have been a wait for a table, but we were perfectly happy at the bar. Our bartender was very friendly and welcoming, even while clearly managing a high volume of guests in what felt like a short-staffed moment. Despite that, service remained warm and attentive. We shared the traditional fondue, which was generously portioned and stayed hot for an impressively long time thanks to their setup--ideal for lingering over conversation. We both enjoyed wine pairings, and I especially loved the Winter Warmer Knob Creek cider: cozy, well-balanced, and a standout choice, particularly for anyone who appreciates Knob Creek. Sun Singer has an excellent atmosphere--social, distinctive, and effortlessly inviting. I very much look forward to returning the next time we're back in the area.

They were very efficient and our wait time was less than 5 minutes, which was a very pleasant surprise. The menu looked interesting with a lot of variety. Each of us enjoyed our orders. Mine was an Omelet with Hashbrowns and Pancakes, with an added side of Sausage Gravy. The Omelet and Hashbrowns covered the first plate and the Pancakes a second with the Sausage Gravy filling an ample sized bowl. Very impressed with not only the portion size (Which constituted not only that meal but this morning's breakfast as well), but the taste and quality of the food as well (very much liked the house Chipotle hot sauce-very tasty with heat and sweet!). The server was very friendly and did a good job! We had been to this location many years ago in as a previous Brunch type place, and the current iteration seemed brighter and more lively. We enjoyed it and would defineitly return!

Passing through the on our way home, we wanted to stop for breakfast before hitting the road and this place is very close to the hotel. Love that they have a Bloody Mary option. So happy that we were able to get right in with our 8 person group. The menu offers ample options. I ordered the shareable cinnamon roll which did not disappoint. Also had the elevated breakfast sandwich that hit the spot. My daughter had the red velvet pancakes (pictured) and liked them. They are a work of art. We have this placed bookmarked to stop at next time we're passing through. My guess is that it's no secret that it's delicious though.

When I learned they were opening a location in the same building as my favorite game store, I was ecstatic. Mo's Bar and Grill combines the solid fundamentals their other offerings have consistently demonstrated with an excellent expanded menu that includes several Salvadorian dishes and a selection of Mexican restaurants bar staples like frozen margaritas and Corona, amongst some tempting looking agua fresca inspired drinks. Service is fast, competent, and helpful, but can definitely be more terse and less personable than some might desire or expect. That said, they are always prompt to refill drinks and chips, and helpful to answer questions about dietary restrictions and respond to any need a customer has, and to my mind that's all one can fairly ask for from waitstaff. The location is very bright and fun, with lots of spacious seating. I've never found the seating areas full, but sometimes the flat walls and hard surfaces can make the noise level creep up when business isn't slow. I haven't visited when the fireplace has been on, but I assume that adds some much appreciated warmth when the weather is cold.

Plus she was the only waitress so we understand how that happened. So when I announced…read morethese things to my waitress - Jessica - I was expecting to be told it would be very difficult to serve me. What happened next was astounding. She consulted her supervisor, and the two were able to lay out for me what items were suitable with a complete list of ingredients and allergens! The sliders themselves use a vegan-friendly bun, and the patty can be exchanged for a plant-based one. The tofu tacos simply need to have the sour cream held. The sweet potato fries (and I presume the normal ones) are fried using the same oil as other foods, so people should take that into consideration should they wish, but they're otherwise okay. I ordered the tofu tacos and the sweet potato fries. Excellent meal! The music being played was Nintendo-themed covers and remixes, which I was definitely able to appreciate!
