It's a solid spot! Very easy to order digitally and you just need to wait to pick up your food. Very little human interaction, but that's the nature of this shop. Drinks and food themselves are very interesting and well made. Not in a "this is amazing", but it was good. My group and I enjoyed everything that we ordered, so the drinks and food were probably designed to please as many people as possible. The variety in their menu is interesting and I'm surprised they were willing maintain their diverse selections. The location is more in a hole-in-a-wall spot. Parking is a pain, but it's in a walking neighborhood amidst a bunch of stores and restaurants. It's a nice place to pop by for a quick drink or dessert after a huge dinner or for a walking break. The biggest concern I had with the place is that it's really not designed for people to stick around. Very few seats or uncomfortable standing areas. It's got this industrial layout where you go in, order digitally, get your food and get out. read more

There were so many Asian tea spots here in Campus town to choose from, but happen to stop in to try. For a weekend, there was no extremally long lines today due to many digital kiosk available to order. I just had a taste for a mango tea ($8) and splurge for toppings. The order and dink in hand took not more than 10 minutes. The taste was spot on but I wish there was on option to choose the percentages of sugar to add/remove from the drinks. read more

Visited this place last night for the first time, and it was such an interesting experience! All orders are placed at touchscreens on the wall. They're very easy to navigate. The location offers Korean corn dogs, lots of bubble tea and milk tea options, and some specialty donuts. I didn't interact with any employees as they are behind a small window where you pick up items, and there is a curtain covering the top half of the window. There are some seats inside that allow people to sit to eat or sit while waiting. There's a small condiments self-serve area with some sauces, straws, and carry out bags. I bought two original Korean corn dogs with just a beef hot dog inside. I thought they were delicious. In an effort at transparency, I'll note that my young kids did not like them because sugar is sprinkled on the corn dogs; however, I don't currently have the most adventurous eaters and if my kids don't like something chances are it's actually delicious. Because each corn dog is in the $6 range, take that into account if you have picky eaters. read more

Random stop while on campus for a work visit and did not intend on ordering but the staff was so accommodating and helpful. They were quick to explain the menu, the ingredients, process, options etc. We ended up ordering and enjoyed every sip and ounce!!! The space is simple and open, making it easy for groups to get together. There is also an upstairs area. The menu is intense and numerous combinations can be made. Numerous as in thousands! I wish we had something in my town where i live. This place also works with delivery companies to deliver individual drinks! Unheard of for my town! I would def come back here! read more

The food was okay. The service didn't talk much especially sense it was self order. It was relaxing and the decor was rlly cute.

It's pretty good bubble tea! I enjoyed their mochi donuts as well. My only complaint is the location and finding parking, but honestly that's to be expected on campus! read more

Especially like the Oreo donuts! The donuts are a little crispy at the first bite, but are soft in the middle. The service is fast, and it uses digital order system. Btw, it's not a study spot because there's not many seats inside, and the space seems not so big. Pick up the donuts and eat them on the street! :) read more

If you're around the area, this is the spot to get your Korean corn dogs. Nothing spectacular but it's the nearest Korean corn dog place in Champaign. It's a good quick in and out place. Seating is very limited. Workers seemed stressed and unwelcoming when I arrived to pick up my food. But who knows maybe they were having a bad day. read more

This place looked really good! Ultimately I didn't end up ordering anything which was disappointing but I will definitely be back thet again. I did however ask some questions. The ingredients seemed to be solid and their creative process seemed legit. Thanks! read more

I was visiting campus and thought I would give this place a try. I ordered an oolong milk tea which is always my go to drink whenever I see it on the menu. I thought the oolong milk tea didn't taste like other oolong milk teas I've had in the past. There was a slight taste of oolong when I took my first sip and the rest just tasted like sugar. I really like the decorations and the seating area a lot. My friends and I went upstairs to the couch area to play some board games. Honestly, I wouldn't come back here for their milk teas. Maybe I'll give their fruit tea a try next time, so I could sit down and chill with my friends. read more

Great location, good tea, and great decor! Their tea is good-4 stars. We had the Peach Oolong tea with cheese float and Jasmine Milk Tea. Their tea tasted good at first, but when it came down to half of the cup, the tea and jasmine flavor started to wear out. The cheese float I had was good but not as good as the other bubble tea in town (Latea I believe). However, the decor and the upstairs couch is definitely a plus. It all seemed very cozy! read more

Calling all UIUC students, locals, and other travelers! You need to visit Teamoji ASAP! Hailing from the West Coast, I've had my fair share of bubble tea. I can tell you that the bubble tea from this place tops my list! Their signature drinks feature the cheese float / salted cheese that's been taking the boba community by storm. The fact that I previously had top notch similar drink and that this establishment is rather new, I had my doubts But whoa, I was proven wrong after taking the first few sips! The cheese float was more flavorsome and you can immediately tell they're using high quality REAL tea! Their golden boba were also made to perfection! Compared to the rest of the competitors, who are infamously known for using flavored powder, this joint is unsurpassable by a long shot! They also carry pastries, dessert, and finger foods. Their portuguese egg tarts and matcha waffles are delectable! I hope they would add more food options in the future. Tons of outlets, abundance of seats, decorative interior, amiable staffs, great music, and sublime cheesefloat bubble tea; what more could you ask for? read more

I was pleasantly surprised to see the tastefully done decor. There is enough seating to study (and charge laptops). Coming to the teas, I had Oolong milk tea with cheese float, and for an expensive $6.83 for a medium cup, I felt it was a bit expensive than other options on campus and also the size of the cheese float was so small, it was gone in three sips. read more

Honestly the best place on campus. I'm always happy when I'm here, the atmosphere is amazing and makes me feel peaceful. They have a motto that's "Life is Good, Better with Teamoji" and I think that's true. The people who own this place have the biggest hearts and created this space for people who appreciate real tea. None of the tea is made with powders or harmful preservatives, the tea is real!! Right when you walk in, you see a bunch of light bulbs hanging from the ceiling and they just make you smile immediately. There's over 50 seats throughout the whole place and it's the perfect destination for doing homework or hanging out with friends. They recently added a bunch of food items on their menus which I'm so excited about! The bang bang chicken is amazing and so are the waffles. Everything about this store is innovative and they're always looking to improve! read more

My favorite bubble tea shop in the urbana-champaign area! I can tell that they use high quality ingredients for all of their teas. A few of my favorites are the signature fruit tea, classic milk tea, and thai iced tea. It's a great place to get studying done as there are plenty of seats on their second floor. I also love how bright and spacious this tea shop is--it truly puts me in a good mood! read more

Every place I travel I try to find a good boba place. Teamoji in Champaign did not disappoint!! I more of a fruit tea kind of gal but I tasted my friends milk tea and it was really good as well. Tried this place for first time, and ordered things I have never had before. Some of the items i ordered, I disliked and would not recommend (like the takoyaki). However, I did find two items at this store that I did really enjoy and will most certainly return again for. I enjoyed the Coffee Milk Tea, and most of all I loved the egg tarts. The egg tarts are basically custard tarts but in a flaky pastry pie dish. Each time I have ordered the egg tarts, they have been very fresh and still slightly warm! I ended up ordering 8 more to take home. read more

I am 100% down to give this place a second chance because I am sure whatever I had doesn't happen too often, but my first time there was awful. My drink was really bad to the point where I didn't even finish it. I am giving them the benefit of the doubt so if I end up going to school in UIUC I will definitely try again, but I went on a campus tour and got some boba before driving home and the tapioca was not too fresh and the peach oolong that i ordered was just regular oolong without any peach flavors coming through. I do not want to scare anyone away as it was really cute and I saw really good reviews about this place so definitely check it out!!! maybe it was just an off day read more

Best boba I've ever had in CU! I recommend oolong and coffee milk tea with golden boba

I love the boba here! I ordered the green milk tea and I can taste that the tea was really fresh. The golden boba is what sold me! SO GOOD!! The staff is very friendly and polite. I love the decor and the overall atmosphere was great! I would come back if I'm ever around this area again. read more

I liked Teamoji before because they have great fruit teas, but now I am having second thoughts. The tea is still good, but most teas, even with no sugar, taste like they added sugar. One HUGE downfall of the boba tea/fruit tea places on campus is that they don't standardize how much add on they put into the drink. Today I walked into Teamoji and decided to try their pudding add on. What I get is roughly two tablespoons. I feel kinda deceived due to the difference between how much a add on charges and how much has been put into my tea. I really hope that drink places standardize the add on so I get consistent quality drinks every time. read more

Ok tea, but very rude cashier. They request me to not put my hand on the glass display, but in a way of repermand. If you don't want people to put their hands there, don't put the display case in front of your register. I also simply ask regarding if their fruit tea was sweet or not, they answered in a very terse and curt manner, like I am some idiot that should know better that their fruit tea are ALWAYS sweet. Well, I guess the simple solution was for me to leave the establishment without a purchasing anything. read more

Pricey but worth it. Uji matcha with cheese float is inventive and hits the spot. Service is sometimes aloof but I think that may be their branding? cool fishes in tank and comfy seating available upstairs. I like the egg waffle too but wish their menu would do better job separating the regular Belgian style vs Taiwanese egg waffles. Their rewards program is not intuitive and could use improvement especially given the highish prices! There is still nothing like it and I am a loyal fan. read more

My fav in UC area. The only one that can beat latea coz its boba is not as sweet as latea's. And B3 without sugar is my top choice!

The staffs are wonderful and very friendly :) If you're used to black boba, this place don't offer the black ones but the colorful ones. It's okay, I don't taste the difference and the textures are the same. Got plenty spaces and got free WiFi to work, study and relax with friends. Highly recommend the place to anyone! read more

So good and lots of options!!! I got the passion fruit green tea and I liked that you could customize the amount of sugar and ice.

A chill place to get some drinks and snacks. My favorite drinks at Teamoji are the milk teas and fruit smoothies, and the bang bang chicken is pretty good. I've also heard a lot of compliments about their waffles. Teamoji has retained Mashawi Grill's (the old restaurant at this location) upstairs seating, so go upstairs to get some work done. read more

Is the tea good? Yes. Is it grossly overpriced for what it is? Yes. Will I end up going there in the future despite that? Probably. Been here twice now. It's got free WiFi and plenty of seating but the menu is nothing out of the ordinary. I don't see this place being the most popular when there's places having better interiors, friendlier workers and competitive prices on the same street. But that being said I highly enjoyed my Oreo milk tea and will try other drinks the next time I go. read more
