It's a solid spot! Very easy to order digitally and you just need to wait to pick up your food. Very little human interaction, but that's the nature of this shop. Drinks and food themselves are very interesting and well made. Not in a "this is amazing", but it was good. My group and I enjoyed everything that we ordered, so the drinks and food were probably designed to please as many people as possible. The variety in their menu is interesting and I'm surprised they were willing maintain their diverse selections. The location is more in a hole-in-a-wall spot. Parking is a pain, but it's in a walking neighborhood amidst a bunch of stores and restaurants. It's a nice place to pop by for a quick drink or dessert after a huge dinner or for a walking break. The biggest concern I had with the place is that it's really not designed for people to stick around. Very few seats or uncomfortable standing areas. Visited this place last night for the first time, and it was such an interesting experience! All orders are placed at touchscreens on the wall. They're very easy to navigate. The location offers Korean corn dogs, lots of bubble tea and milk tea options, and some specialty donuts. I didn't interact with any employees as they are behind a small window where you pick up items, and there is a curtain covering the top half of the window. There are some seats inside that allow people to sit to eat or sit while waiting. There's a small condiments self-serve area with some sauces, straws, and carry out bags. I bought two original Korean corn dogs with just a beef hot dog inside. I thought they were delicious. In an effort at transparency, I'll note that my young kids did not like them because sugar is sprinkled on the corn dogs; however, I don't currently have the most adventurous eaters and if my kids don't like something chances are it's actually delicious. Random stop while on campus for a work visit and did not intend on ordering but the staff was so accommodating and helpful. They were quick to explain the menu, the ingredients, process, options etc. We ended up ordering and enjoyed every sip and ounce!!! Especially like the Oreo donuts! The donuts are a little crispy at the first bite, but are soft in the middle. The service is fast, and it uses digital order system. Honestly the best place on campus. I'm always happy when I'm here, the atmosphere is amazing and makes me feel peaceful. They have a motto that's "Life is Good, Better with Teamoji" and I think that's true. The people who own this place have the biggest hearts and created this space for people who appreciate real tea. None of the tea is made with powders or harmful preservatives, the tea is real!! Right when you walk in, you see a bunch of light bulbs hanging from the ceiling and they just make you smile immediately. There's over 50 seats throughout the whole place and it's the perfect destination for doing homework or hanging out with friends. They recently added a bunch of food items on their menus which I'm so excited about! The bang bang chicken is amazing and so are the waffles. Tried this place for first time, and ordered things I have never had before. Some of the items i ordered, I disliked and would not recommend (like the takoyaki). However, I did find two items at this store that I did really enjoy and will most certainly return again for. I enjoyed the Coffee Milk Tea, and most of all I loved the egg tarts. I am 100% down to give this place a second chance because I am sure whatever I had doesn't happen too often, but my first time there was awful. My drink was really bad to the point where I didn't even finish it. I am giving them the benefit of the doubt so if I end up going to school in UIUC I will definitely try again, but I went on a campus tour and got some boba before driving home and the tapioca was not too fresh and the peach oolong that i ordered was just regular oolong without any peach flavors coming through. I liked Teamoji before because they have great fruit teas, but now I am having second thoughts. The tea is still good, but most teas, even with no sugar, taste like they added sugar. One HUGE downfall of the boba tea/fruit tea places on campus is that they don't standardize how much add on they put into the drink. Today I walked into Teamoji and decided to try their pudding add on. What I get is roughly two tablespoons. I feel kinda deceived due to the difference between how much a add on charges and how much has been put into my tea. If you don't want people to put their hands there, don't put the display case in front of your register. A chill place to get some drinks and snacks. My favorite drinks at Teamoji are the milk teas and fruit smoothies, and the bang bang chicken is pretty good. I've also heard a lot of compliments about their waffles. Teamoji has retained Mashawi Grill's (the old restaurant at this location) upstairs seating, so go upstairs to get some work done. read more

Is the tea good? Yes. Is it grossly overpriced for what it is? Yes. Will I end up going there in the future despite that? Probably. Been here twice now. It's got free WiFi and plenty of seating but the menu is nothing out of the ordinary.
