Rodrigo was good at taking my questions. For my situation, I was not in a rush to get the work done. This year there were delays. That's fine. What was a little frustrating was coordination and communication about when. When the crew did come out, they took good care of my home. When the work was finished, a couple minor things needed to be addressed. A guy was sent to take a look, an hour later the returned and made everything right. As I said, a very good experience.

We had to catch multiple workmanship issues ourselves, and the amount of stress this job caused was unbelievable. I learned my lesson after a lot of stress and money. Do yourself a favor and stay away!

Team came in and completed a 2nd and 3rd story roof with gables, skylights, venting, flashing, gutters, etc in a day. After an unfortunate ice dam that they helped remove, they went above and beyond by redoing the area with new vent, ice water shield, and shingles to ensure they did all they could to prevent reoccurrence. He explained every step of the process, answered all my questions about everything from protecting from water damming to whether brand matters when it comes to underlayment (it doesn't). He kept me posted on progress and even sent pictures as the job was underway Honesty: Dion set a price (which was the lowest I was quoted) and stuck to it. We had some confusion over gutter guards - Dion ended up installing high quality guards and didn't raise the price, despite the fact that they were not in the official quote. Generosity: In addition to the gutter guards, Dion threw in our shed roof as a bonus and even installed zinc to protect from moss growing in the future. Towards the end of last year, I had several companies come out and quote for a full roof…read morereplacement. Golden Group gave me the best feeling about the job from the initial discussion. Where other contractors canceled appointments, arrived late, or were just no-shows - Mikel (out of their Hudson office) arrived on time and did a thorough assessment of the roof including taking drone footage. He sat with me and walked me through the whole process clearly, explaining all my choices in materials and didn't push any product or add-on. I did receive marginally cheaper quotes, but they did not leave me feeling like my home was in good hands in the same way that Mikel did, and I felt the extra money was likely to be worth it. Once I decided to go ahead with them, again, everything was done very professionally. I was kept informed of times and everybody showed up exactly when they said they would. I made a small change to the scope of the work in replacing additional plywood sections of the roof, and these were easily accommodated on short notice. On the day of the work, the crew showed up on time and Jurgan (the site foreman) kept everything moving with minimal disruption to us. I was working from home, and my wife and kids were in and out of the house for school and errands. Despite replacing the entire roof of the main building and two additions over approximately 9 hours, there was minimal disruption to our days. The house was protected during the work, and even with snow still on the ground, their cleanup crew constantly walked the property picking up and disposing of any debris, nails, old material etc. Ultimately the roof was replaced successfully and looks good. Every step of the job was explained to me, every question answered, and every decision explained. The team was professional, punctual and courteous throughout. A couple of weeks in and we've had snow, rain and strong winds. Everything is still perfect. I can highly recommend Mikel and Jurgan from Golden Group, Hudson.

Brian was extremely prompt. Brian was extremely patient and helpful throughout the process, answering all of my questions, and taking the time to get on the roof himself to take close up pictures to show me the issues that we had so that I was better educated. We needed to have the entire roof replaced, and Brian told us it would take one day, possibly two worst case scenario. Turns out out roof was not properly vented and so we had FORTY sheets if plywood that needed to be replaced. Had it not been for that extreme amount of additional work, I am certain they would have finished in one day. Both days the weather outside was approximately 15 degrees, but that didn't stop him or his crew.
