Your employees are super friendly and always have a doggy treat for my crazy little Yorkie. Even though I rarely drink it you have a wide assortment of obscure beers, ales, and hard ciders. Hey, people of Arlington (Arlingtonians?) Wake up and smell the coffee porter! I just wanted to…read morelet you know that you have a fine wine shop right under your nose. See what I did there? I have been making the trek from North Cambridge to Mystic Wine Shoppe (OK, so my girlfriend may live in your town), but this is one nice place! My go-to beerhouse has always been Downtown Liquors in Davis Square, Somerville, which also has an extensive craft beer selection. While I usually have a focus on what I am going to pick up (girlfriend disagrees) I do take a look around and see what beer or wine may be of interest. Every time I have been to the shop (shoppe?) I have been asked "Can I find something for you", or "Are you being helped?" I mention this because other reviews have noted otherwise. That's why I am making my first ever Yelp review. Last weekend, I was looking at the craft beer selection and my girlfriend was doing her wine wandering. She was asked if she needed help. She did. Asked about a winery we visited in Napa - Stag's Leap - and was ushered to that wine. I was also greeted while checking out the beer. This level of customer service is a fairly new experience for me, comparing Davis Square, and my former days in Berkeley, CA. We haven't made any of the wine tastings yet, but the beer tastings have been awesome. It's great to be introduced to new beer, while learning something about each offering. I'm hoping that they will allow me to use my 16 ounce "Dogpatch Saloon" (San Francisco) glass at the next beer sampling. It's in my glove compartment, just in case. Yes, it's clean. I even made the hike to Mystic Beer Shoppe recently when my girlfriend was out of town. Since she travels so often, maybe I will find conversation with a nice Arlington girl over a beer or wine at the weekend tastings. The price is right! You should be able to pick me out in the store. I'll be the only one holding a 16 ounce sample glass. Pricing is on par with the other shops I have frequented, and I like the focus on the beer carousel of changing breweries and styles of beer. Many of the Jack's Abby beers are becoming favorites, especially the House Lager. Nice! Five stars! My girlfriend is not happy with this rating, though. I think she deservesa solid "9." ( She thinks that she is a "10! ) Hey, I'm a tough scorer.

What's unique about this place is that it's good for Joe 6 Pack and William Wine Snob alike! Lots of selection, whether you want some regular old brew to go with your pizza or burgers, need a fine merlot, or are itching to mix up cocktails with some high end booze. They usually do tastings on Friday evenings, which are cool. They had a great sample of brews from Utah last time I went in. They do have sales/promotions every once in a while, single malt scotches were 20% off or something recently. Prices are reasonable, and they get bonus points for having chips and snacks too. I've always found beer and chips to be a divine combination while grilling. What else to say? These guys do a great job!

They did clean up and mitigated the smell, which probably took an enormous amount of work, so that was good. Prices seem only slightly higher than before. I'm not going back. No one wants hot wine.
