This review is long overdue. Dan Bowyer rewired my entire kitchen when I remodeled in 2023. He installed all of the recessed lights, chandeliers and power for the relocated refrigerator, oven and range. Since then, I have worked with Dan to replace all of our outlets with updated designs. Install new outlets in our garage, run power to our patio to string lights there. He also installed a generator connection at our main distribution panel and a whole home surge protector. We currently use Dan for all of our electrical work he is professional, prompt, thorough, thoughtful, clean, friendly, fairly priced and exceptionally easy to work with. He is highly knowledgeable and honest. I will only work with other electricians if Dan is unavailable, (who am I kidding, I would wait for him to be available). He is highly recommended. read more

Dan was incredibly helpful and knowledgeable. Thank you so much for your help installing my ceiling fan!

I am extremely pleased with the electrical work performed by Dan at my house in Arlington, Texas. I was quoted a price which did not break the bank, and the electrical mystery connected to the hot water heater was solved very quickly. Not only was the original electrical ailment corrected -the reason for the visit- but a couple of other additional issues were resolved at the same time which may have prevented further costly problems down the road. There were absolutely no high pressure sales tactics when I asked questions about future electrical upgrades that I am considering. I will definitely be using Dan's services again for the next electrical project at my house. read more

Did a great job. Was here when he promised. He accepts checks for payments. You may want to rearrange to pay with a credit card.

I was needing some electrical work to convert a hot tub from 110 to 220. Called Arlington Electrical Service, based on reviews, and talked to the owner Dan. We discussed everything and he recommended that he come out to see the job itself before bidding on it, just to make sure that his bid was accurate. Dan did come out and we went through the job completely and he was able to give me a very competitive bid. Haven't had to work done yet but I will be using Arlington Electrical Service when the time is right. read more

Fast and professional. was quoted a price over the phone for replacing a gfci outlet and the work was done same day. He spent plenty of time with me talking about potential future projects and was extremely knowledgeable. I would recommend you give him a call first. read more

Dan answered our electrical service call. Great guy! Seems like a good ole honest cowboy type. We are getting a general whole home generator installed and we could start the job until we had an electrician come out an figure out why 3 double breakers were incorrectly tied to a tankless water heater. Did a couple of quotes on Yelp and Arlington electrical was the only one that actually gave me a quote through Yelp instead of asking me to call and get a quote (if I wanted to call I would have called all those people) so I went with the business that didn't ask me to repeat info over the phone......I know it's not a big deal to some, but I work from home and I spend anywhere from 7-10 hrs a day on the phone and I absolutely loathe being on the phone during off work hours. Seriously, just communicate with me the way I requested (or turn off the quote ability on Yelp, don't try to trick me into giving you business by making me think we are going to have an easy engagement. Enough with the rant- point is, arlington electrical didn't make me do any extra work. Dan came out, make quick work of confirming that my breakers were done correctly and we were both on our merry way. Kind of stinks that Cantar Generator had me call someone out unnecessarily, but at least it was quick and I can confidently tell them that they can start the work because everyone is okay in my break box I would highly recommend arlington electrical. read more

I called AES weeks ahead of a hot tub being delivered to see what would be involved with getting it hard wired. Dan came out and took a look at our breaker box and where the spa would be located and gave us a rough estimate on cost. After the spa was delivered we had a slight delay because of weather but he came as soon as the rain ended. He did a wonderful job doing the wiring from the box to the spa. Very neat and unobtrusive having to run the conduit along the bottom edge of the house. He installed a master CFGI switch near the spa and also a 110 outlet for lights on our patio. He had the spa wired and up and running in no time at all. His prices are excellent and he actually did it for a little less than what the total came to because it was a little higher than the rough estimate he originally gave us. Very fair prices. I would recommend AES for any type of electrical work you need done. I will definitely call him for any other work I may need done. read more

AES was awesome. I requested a quote through Yelp for a quick disconnect switch on our water heater and to replace an outdoor plug. Dan responded promptly, with an actual quote, not "I need to come check it out." He came out the next morning and did both jobs quickly, and at a very reasonable price. Dan also checked a fixture on our porch that kept blowing out lightbulbs, and he made an adjustment and replaced the light bulb at no charge. Lastly, he quoted me half as much as another electrician to replace our fuse box that is 50 years old, so we will definitely use him when we make the update in the near future and any other electrical work if needed. read more

I had a 50 amp power inlet and power transfer lockout installed. AES answered questions, communicated expectations, and worked with me on what my needs were. Showed when they said they would. Did clean work (very professional) and looks as it is part of the home. I will be using them again. read more

I needed an electrical project done and was having difficulty finding and electrician and contacted AES. Dan got back with me nearly immediately and we talked about the project. He made some time to come out and put his eyes on my project and we got a game plan. He did the job on a Saturday so i was able to watch him work. As a semi-skilled craftsman myself i could tell right away he was a top shelf electrician. Excellent conduit work and i talked to him a lot during the job and he never missed a beat. He communicated well, was on time and on budget and an overall nice guy. If i ever need electrical work again AES will be my first call. He's not just a wire dog either! He does a host of high tech electrical things too. read more

Got several quotes for adding an outlet in fireplace for blower fan, outlet in master bath, and rewire outdoor lighting. Dan connected with me and said he would give me a fair price and shared his rate. I had several quotes and almost all were much higher. I used AES (Dan) and he completed all the jobs. He was also $350-700 less than the other quotes. Very happy and will use him on my next project. read more

Wow! I called and spoke with Dan. I told him my problem. He said to call Oncor because it sounded like something they would need to handle. He assured me that if that didn't fix the problem he would come out tonight. Like he knew what I was thinking....he says "I know it sounds like I'm putting you off but they will get there quickly and many times this is an issue they will need to fix". Oncor came out and are fixing the problem right now. Arlington Electrical Services saved me at least $2-300. Also! He was relieved when I called back so he wouldn't have to worry about it tonight. Very very nice man and you won't get ripped off. Thank you Dan! You ROCK! read more

I would recommend Dan with AES for any residential electrical issue. He was responsive, fair, and on time. Could have easily talked me into purchasing something I didn't really need, but instead talked me out of it. He fixed my issue quickly and explained what he had done. If I could give him more than 5 stars, I would. read more

Had an 3 outlets that no longer worked after wiring in new ceiling fan few years ago. Never bothered to fix it and should have called in the pro long time ago. Took them maybe less than 5 min to figure it out and another 10 to fix it. Very courteous and informative guys. Could not have been happier. read more

Dan responded quickly, did a great job, and gave me a fair price. He doesn't price gouge or sell you things you don't need. I will be hiring him again for future electrical needs. read more

Well, he did an amazing job. Was on time, clean and professional. Definitely found my electrician for life! I'm so grateful to have found this company! read more

Was told by another huge electrical company which advertises extensively in the DFW area that I needed ground rods and a new quick disconnect on my HVAC system. Dan, owner of AES, came out a couple of days after I scheduled the visit. He checked cold water ground on water heater, and current grounding inside the panel and concluded I didn't need ground rods as the electrical circuit met grounding code requirements. He checked the quick disconnect, made sure it was clean and screws tightened, and said it was in good working condition. He explained that some major advertisers pay their technicians to upsell, which he doesn't believe in. It's hard to find home improvement companies that aren't trying to rip you off by upselling products and services you don't need so I'm glad I found Dan and AES. I highly recommend him as he's prompt, courteous, reasonable, and won't try to sell you something you don't need. read more

I left a message to get an estimate to replace my service panel. They never called back. So I used another local company. I try to use local businesses when I can. I gave four stars because I didn't get a chance to interact with them. I would still give them a try. read more

Dan and his assistant Luis installed a new recessed fixture in our primary bathroom and also replaced a defective light in the ceiling of my son's home (both on the same trip) last week. We were in need of exact placement of the new light, which had to be figured out by wiring it up, turning it on, and moving it around on the ceiling until the exact spot we needed to be illuminated was best lit. Dan handled that easily and safely, and then quickly and efficiently installed the light at that spot. The new light works exactly how we want it to. The repair job was also done quickly and efficiently. They were very conscious about doing things the right way, such as removing their shoes before entering our house, putting down dropcloths to catch the debris, and meticulously cleaning up when finished. And the technical work was excellent. Excellent work, fairly priced. And they're super nice guys on top of that They're my go-to electricians from now on. read more

Can I say I love my electrician and helper Luis? Indeed I can! We called on Dan to come out to initially address some code issues we had since we were getting ready to sell our home. We knew we had a nasty, dangerous, old breaker box but really didn't want to invest any more money into this home. Dan and Luis addressed numerous issues we had with our code issues in a very timely manner. (GFCI outlets) Dan also looked at our breaker box and agreed our two breaker boxes we had were needing a major overhaul. He provided us with a reasonable estimate and we agreed to combine the two breaker boxes into one (originally with 100 amp panel to a spacious 200 amp panel) Can I say we now have a beautiful breaker box? Of course I can! It is very gorgeous. They did a fabulous job with very little down time with our electrical usage. Dan has a great working relationship with the City of Arlington and Oncor to get us up and running in no time flat. Please call on Dan for your electrical needs as he is very honest, courteous, meticulous. and concerned in doing a great job for you. I have to say too Luis is a very great helper as well showing very much respect and detail to the job he was presented with. So thankful we hired AES for our job. Thank you both so very much. Exceptional work and customer service! read more
