The issue came with tiling the back splash. Our tile measurements were way off. We have 5 extra boxes of tile that was not needed. The guys doing the tile were not experienced and we had a special tile for above the range top that was not cut correctly. Had to order more of the that expensive tile. The saw was not sharp enough. Then the electrical boxes were not tiled around properly and they had to come back and fix because of dry wall exposure. He then just glued the tiles on. They don't lay flat like the rest.
