Zachary Postell saved the day! Hope you continue your dental career. Really calmed my nerves…read more They pushed a deep cleaning by the dental hygienist without even examining my teeth and going based off pictures. Then the dentist came in and told me my prior dentist is no longer there. First, I heard of it. I advocated for a less aggressive approach. No one was listening except my new friend Zach! I switch the hygienist right away cause it was just another job for her and to be perfectly honest she didn't even exam my teeth herself. Be careful who you choose. The dentist who I just met was nice but I was not happy that a diagnosis was recommended without personally examining my teeth!

Somone recommended this office to me which ended up being a bad experience. After the X-Rays, the…read moredentist walked over all excited about everything that was wrong with my teeth (you need an extraction, bone graft then a crown later on, re-do a root canal on the other side, and then there's a crown that needs to be replaced eventually) - he wanted to do the first procedure then and there like it was absolutely necessary. I asked what the out-of-pocket costs would be because I've seen this show before and the billing dept. quoted $3K. I said I would need a few days to think it over and would get back to them. I ended up getting a second opinion with none of the pressure or condescension and decided to move my business there. As I said, the previous dentist was so excited to inform me about what was wrong with my teeth and exam, but when I asked him to explain the bacteria test he just pointed at at dismissively and said "Well, it says it right there, just read it." Then when he told me I was free to go I asked if they were going to do a teeth cleaning because I've gotten one every 6 months consistently. It seemed the office begrudgingly gave me the cleaning which lasted no more than 5 minutes. I've never had a teeth cleaning that short. The receptionist and front-office staff were polite and just doing their job but I knew I couldn't remain a patient there. I believe this office is private equity owned and so maximizing profit is the most important thing to them. Try to find yourself a dentist that is family owned or independent and not owned by a corporation that just cares about their bottom line. Dentistry and medical care in this country is awful. Even if you have insurance, you can go bankrupt. I literally have taken out loans to pay for out-of-pocket dental expenses, and I brush and floss every damn day! Very happy with the new dental office I found. They take one thing at a time and no heavy pressure to do a lot of unnecessary work. So far so good.

Healthy Smile Family Dentistry - Thank you Dr. Ella Chen

Dr. Ella Chen is incredibly kind, patient, and experienced. Even though they had a very busy Friday…read moreschedule, they still took the time to squeeze us in for an emergency visit. That meant so much to us. From the moment we walked in, we felt we were in caring and capable hands. The numbing process was quick and completely painless, and Dr. Chen was so gentle and reassuring throughout the procedure. You can really feel that she cares about her patients and wants them to be comfortable. Veronica was also amazing. She was very helpful, checked our insurance right away, and made everything smooth and stress-free. The wait time was minimal, and the whole team was professional, efficient, and kind. Their fees are also very reasonable, which we truly appreciate. We are so grateful for the care and kindness we received today. It is not easy to find a dental office that combines professionalism, compassion, and excellent service like this. Highly, highly recommend Dr. Chen and the wonderful team. Thank you so much

I went to this office for several years when it was just starting out with the main dentist and…read moremaybe a few others but then they kept adding more dentists before & after the owner went on medical leave. It became very corporate driven and didn't seem the same as before. I had one crown done years ago and I had pain for days afterwards but didn't complain because I believe in just trudging through it which was my big mistake. The dentist (she) had a bit of a heavy hand and that area hurt the next night and I still remember it. I know now to have Extra-strength Tylenol on hand and ask for a prescription for anti-biotics when getting significant work done now. A relative who is no longer a patient there as well believes they talk you into unnecessary crowns and it was confirmed after her new dentist said as much - "Why all these crowns? You didn't need them..." but we believe dentists when they recommend work and take their word for it. I stayed for years because it was close, familiar, and I did have good experiences early on, but it changed so much it wasn't worth it. Last time I was there the dentist suggested Invisalign which he never once tried to sell me on before and that's when I knew I had to move on. Braces aren't covered by insurance and can costs thousands. I totally understand why so many people head over the border to Mexico to get dental care at much more affordable prices and it's just as safe.
