Absolutely love to support the local shops and say "yes" to wholesome food. I was really looking forward to some fresh juices here but was a bit surprised that they were pre-botteled and perhaps overpriced. In fact, I felt queasy after having one but would like to think that this could be a one-off personal experience. Perhaps will give them another shot sometime in the near future.

I've been wanting to go to this little place in Princeton for some time now, and today I was finally in the area. I was super excited to try their vegan treats since they seemed really delicious on their menu and I have never tried a real cheesecake, almond butter cup, or cinnamon roll so I was super psyched. (I have a dairy allergy which is why I've never tried any of these before.) So, I ordered the three treats mentioned, and the total came out to be roughly $16, after a 10% student discount. I brought these goodies home and immediately dug in, only time be dissapointed. I think my favorite of the three has to be the almond butter cup, since I'm a sucker for chocolate, but that was about it. The cheesecake had way too much icing piled on top, and was too lemon-y for my liking. The cinnamon roll was a different story. Now I liked this one more than the cheesecake, but it just wasn't really dough-like and I could taste the individual grains of cinnamon. Despite all this, I do think that their shop is super small and cute, and their employees are really nice. On top of that, I like how they put the ingredient labels on the outside of all their containers so that consumers know what is in their products--something very helpful to me. Overall I feel like I didn't buy their best sweets but maybe I'll come back in the future and try some others.

Today was 100 degrees and let me say that the Tropical Paradise ( soursop, pineapple, coconut milk) was superbly refreshing and delicious. The staff was attentive and friendly. I found my new go-to smoothie spot. Street parking was easy. I'LL BE BACK, Arlee's.

Ugh this place is SO good but SO expensive (especially for a student). The only 'juice' I've tried is the almond milk cold brew latte, which I loved. Coffee lovers: don't be scared of the white color; it still tastes like a latte! In terms of food: I've tried the collard green red pesto wrap twice now, and I'm a huge fan! It's super flavorful, and doesn't taste at all like you'd expect healthy/raw foods to taste (as in, it's really good). It's crunch, refreshing, and full of veggies. Eating it can get a little messy though, so make sure you grab some napkins! I've also tried the cheesecake (made with cashews, I think) which I also highly recommend! The consistency and taste reminded me exactly of traditional cheesecake, and made me feel a little less guilty about indulging in my favorite dessert :) The only downside is the price, which I can understand. It's not the most accessible place price-wise or location-wise for a Princeton student, but I'm happy to treat myself to Arlee's every once in a while.

Arlee's is great! The owners are extremely nice and more than willing to help - explain things, taste things, connect the ingredients to what's going in with your body. It's a small and cute space that's filled with love and all your body needs. My favorite juices are the Kale Blend #2, the beet refresher, and the charcoal. If I'm not feeling well, they have different shots.

I was anxiously waiting for Arlee's storefront to open and it did not disappoint. :) They have fresh pressed bottled juices and some vegan snacks. Very friendly service, they will let you sample a lot of the juices and other edible items. Quality, raw, organic, vegan. I think this is the start of a beautiful friendship.

Great local spot for some super juice. I was served by a lady who seems to be the owner//manager and was very helpful and offered me samples of most of their juices (which were all pressed via masticating juicer. They also sell healthy bars and snacks. I got the green wake up juice and it was pricey. They also charge you $1 for the glass bottle but if you return the bottle they give you the $1 back. Overall, nice place if you need a healthy jolt but will put a dent in your pocket but there's no price for good health right ?! Enjoy!

So happy I found this cute spot for lunch during a business trip! Warm and welcoming staff. I especially loved the sample sized salads and juices. Most importantly, the juices offered at Arlee's are 100% organic and so are most of the food items. Delicious and guilt-free!

I drove 35 minutes to get here and bought a Kale Refresher I can honestly say it was well worth the long drive.

This is a place I wish we had in NYC. It's so fresh and the people who run this place are super cool. Get the cheesecake. It's so good.

I go into stores without buying anything from time to time because they don't have what I'm looking for. Or I got into a store to browse to see what they do have and if they can be a store of service to my needs--most likely that is my first time visiting. Unless the demographic she was referring to steals items, she shouldn't have anything to complain about. She didn't say this demographic steals anything--she said they come into the store and don't buy anything. She is unbelievable. Her energy can be put it better use by asking how she can be of service. That female cashier complaining upon entering the store was very off-putting to any customer coming in to patron a business. I should've turned around and said something to her but I am practicing when to use my words wisely and I believe writing a review is more effective. I made my purchase and left. I didn't catch her name but her aura and her comments inappropriate. Complaining like that, especially when a customer enters--it's unprofessional, and possibly passive-aggressive. She needs to do better. Or hide her biases better.

I used to shop there every two weeks for the past three years, but never again. Waiting anywhere from 10 to 20 minutes while the staff caters to other customers is the standard-poor-service they provide. Customers at this location are very rude and aggressive and the staff does absolutely nothing about it. I've been cut off mid-sentence by customers who demand attention and refuse to wait their own turn. Instead of instilling order and civility, the staff panders to such behavior - seemingly too scared or disinterested to do anything about it. Yet, they have no problems telling me and other customers behind to wait!! Since when do rude customers get better service?? At Big Bear in Ewing they do!! Last time, a cashier interrupted helping me, so she could help a very rude customer who came in AFTER me!! Right smack in the middle of my transaction, the customer walked in and shouted - over my shoulder - asking for a product. Instead of finishing up with me or asking him to wait, she simply dropped what she was doing with me and helped him. I waited 14 minutes while she helped him and she offered no apology whatsoever. This happened in many other scenarios over and over. It is really stunning behavior to experience, as a customer. If the phone rings while you're being helped, you must wait while the customers on the phone get service first. All of this is very ironic considering you're assaulted with offers to "help" the minute you walk in the door. (Seriously, let the door shut behind me before you ask if I need help.) This location was supposed to move to another location last year, but never did. They shut their juice bar down way too early which is a shame because the shakes were pretty good. There is obviously some serious mismanagement at play, which is a shame because health food options are extremely limited in this area. I've also been to the other locations and while the help is extremely slow, at least they treat all the customers the same. They make all customers wait until they have finished talking amongst themselves. Ha! And beware - only certain customers are allowed to interrupt. The rest of us must wait! Up to now, I was willing to overlook the service problems to help support local business. Ewing needs it. They do have a good product selection, the prices aren't outrageous, and the juice bar (and food) was pretty good. I used to spend nearly a thousand dollars at Big Bear each year. But I've had it. No more. I don't like fighting to keep the staff's attention. It really is outrageous. I wonder how many other former customers feel the same way.
