This quaint little shop in Princeton was a lifesaver to us on our travels. Feeling sluggish having eaten so much food on the go we happened across Arlee's. The store attendant was so patient to serve us all the samples juices with a smile. All the blends were amazing and even the kids left out with their own bottles. I sampled one of the kale juices-just kale, lemon, and Apple(?) yet the flavor was amazing. Not too sweet but sweet enough. Love that it's organic. I could easily drink one everyday, if it wasn't for the price. At $6 per bottle, the juices are pricey. read more

The juice I had was quite goo- it was the "blend of the day" with kale, cucumber, celery, lemon, and a couple of other ingredients that I van't remember. It was refreshing and exceeded my expectations for flavor. I liked that they offered to sample the juice, too. Here's the thing... I can make this for less than $2 at home. If I could leave 0 stars I would. If you're black just don't bother walking in. My spouse and I walked in and were offered no assistance. We were not asked to try any samples either. I looked at the juices and salads for a while and not one word. Another couple comes in and the lady working there transformed. She totally engaged with them. Offering samples, asked many questions, kept following up with them, told them about different promotions, and specials. We spent almost 60 bucks at this store and for customer service to be that poor is why I'm on this app right now. I'm so upset that my spouse and I had to encounter that situation. I really liked this place the few times I'd gone, but after my last visit, I won't be returning. I purchased a package of beet crackers, cashew cream and a fruit cup, and that afternoon (within an hour or two of eating) I became very ill. I'm not sure if something sat out improperly or unhealthy bacteria was in the products I ate from preparation, but my reaction to consuming the items I purchased is enough to ensure I'd never return. My advice if you decide to go: Take great care to ask how fresh the items really are and examine them yourself. Be careful. read more

I hate leaving a less than stellar review because the juice and food is tasty. However it's WAY too expensive for the portion size. It was a $11 for a wrap that was barely filled. I've never written a Yelp review but must tell the story of how this awesome place saved me. I'm vegan and was in Princeton for business and didn't have a car. I contacted them before I arrived and arranged to have some juices delivered to my hotel. They arrived on time and were delicious. I ordered the Kale 3 and Lime juices. Then, after realizing there were few vegan food options at my meeting (the host told me the vegan offering for dinner was the salmon!), I called Arlee's in desparation and asked them to deliver kale salads and more juice. They immediately said yes, and delivered everything the next morning. I do not know what I would have done without them! A+ product and service. What a gem. Super overpriced. Got a wrap the length of my pink for 7 dollars, was not worth it at all!! I could've made it at home. Didn't taste very good either. The cashew cream dessert however was very good. If you want a light expensive snack go here, but for something that will help your hunger it's not recommended. read more

I tried the Cacao blend and it was amazing! The salesperson was very friendly and offered me several samples so I could decide, which juice to buy. I thought they were all great, but a little pricey. Raw organic juices are good for you. But being sad and getting a sweet advice from the young girl who works there is priceless! It's definitely pricey in here but I rather spend a lot on my health than wasting it on something not so good. I like that you can try out their juices and the owners take pride in what they do and explain everything you want to know and help you with choices. This was my first time here But let's just start with the price. I got the citrus blend and a cake for 5.99 and my total came to $20. The juice is a 16oz citrus blend. The cake and the juice were very clean and refreshing overall. However unless you can afford to spend money like that it seems to be a one time thing. The staff is helpful and friendly and it's a clean store. I saw that a one day cleanse is $60. The stuff is good but just super pricey. read more

Well, I would like to rate Arlee's higher, but with Tico's down the street, there is a direct comparison that keeps you honest. I think Arlee's juices are pressed, but i prefer more options. The juice selections at Arlee's are limited. Their combos are OK, but really more towards average. I do appreciate that the juices are bottled in glass. If you are particular about your juices being pressed, then Arlee's is all you. read more

I had wanted to check this place out since it opened. I went in and upon entering a friendly sales associate asked if I had ever been to the store, to which I replied I hadn't. He proceeded to explain what the store was about and inform me what juices and other products they had. He asked if I wanted to try some of the kale blend - which I did and it was delicious. The particular blend I tried was the less sweeter one of the kale blends, but still fresh and delicious. I noticed the other blends they had - one with almond, one with cocoa, a mocha one, watermelon and a pineapple one. He let me sample all of them which I appreciated. Each one had its own unique taste, but my favorite was the pineapple blend. It was tangy, but it had fresh mint that really stood out to me. It was probably the most delicious juice I've ever had. Totally worth the $7.49 I paid even if it was 8 oz. I will definitely be back soon! read more

Great juices but need better customer service. I have purchased over 400 juices from Arlee's in the past 3 years and NEVER had a juice I did not like until Wednesday this week when I bought a cleanse. It did not taste right, lacked the lemon and lime flavor indicated on the bottle. I thought let me take it back I am sure they would exchange it. I only took 4 sips from the bottle, not like I drank half the bottle. I was told they can't take back a juice just because I don't like it. I explained that was not the case and that it did not taste right. After going back and forth a couple of minutes I just asked for them to dispose of it for me and purchased 2 more juices. Should have just left but the juices are delicious. No complaints about the quality of the juice at all. At the register I was given 50% off one of my juices. I guess something is better than nothing. Unless you have a subscription I don't think most (not all) employees there care to acknowledge that you are a regular customer. Unfortunately I will not be going back. I take customer service very dearly and did not feel valued at all. read more

Everything is organic and fresh. I love that all of the juices are bottled in glass containers instead of plastic like most other juices so you never have to wonder about nasty plastic chemicals leeching into your organic juice. Like most places that deal in glass bottles, they charge a $1 bottle deposit which is refunded if you bring the bottles back. The juices are delicious and come in different sizes. The staff is always happy to offer samples so you don't have to worry about buying something and not liking it. The food options are not too many, but all really delicious too and homemade. The scallion cream "cheese" is the best nut cheese I've had and the cold brew latte and homemade pestos are really good too. All of the juices taste great. They offer cleanses and still gave me a bag when I bought six juices even it wasn't the ones in the cleanse package. All of the staff is friendly and helpful. The only negatives I could say is depending on the time of day and day of week, they are not always fully stocked, but I'm hoping it's just because it's a new business learning the traffic flow and it would also be really nice to have the ability to order a juice made to order which would eliminate the issues with being out of stock and would allow for some customization (I heard a few others comment the same, so maybe sometime in the future as the business grows?). Overall though, really nice place to have nearby. I'm not sure why so many people are complaining about the prices, these are organic cold-pressed juices. Organic produce is not cheap to buy, plus they have to pay the bills and the staff, not to mention some profit to make it worth it to stay in business. Sure you could make it cheaper if you made it yourself, but the same goes for any food or beverage you buy out. And while you can find organic cold-pressed juices elsewhere for less, there is a noticeable difference in the taste/quality. read more
