I've stopped inside Natural Health a couple of times. The store has a wide selection of health food brands and natural supplements. A coworker told me that, pre-COVID, Natural Health had an impressive selection of nut barrels where you could buy bulk. When I've gone there, it appears they bag nuts and other sundries in zip lock bags. I'm not sure where the closest Whole Foods is from here, but Natural Health is a good shopping alternative to WF if you are in the area. read more

I just love this place! From the unique, good smell when you walk through the doors, to their plentiful shelves, and SUPER helpful employees! My big goal for 2019 is to get my crummy sleep issues and anxiety in order (diss RX meds). My friend told me about CBD oil and I knew Natural Health would have it. I tried it and liked it. The one "sample" pack had me buzzing, so on a subsequent trip, I tried another. That brand suited me better, and I also altered the time that I take it (not at night for me). This one young lady gave me a good 20 minutes of her time last week. She seemed truly empathetic to my b.s. issues. I left w/ Magnesium, CBD oil gel capsules (on sale) and a ("hit the hay) tincture. If you are looking to start a new path of taking care of your body this a great place to start...they carry many of the top brands and their staff is very helpful...my psa levels were at 4.0 & I heard from their staff that pumpkin seed oil can help lower psa...I gave it a shot & my blood test just came back & my psa showed .7! This is after almost 90 capsules (1 per day) been buying from this store for yrs...Solgar, Now, etc brands seem to be of high quality...as someone in my 60's, taking care of my "temple" is crucial! Having worked for the Mac daddy of health food businesses, I'm pretty critical when it comes to smaller stores like this one. In principal I like and respect them. But in reality I sometimes find their prices too high, selection too low, and overall quality lacking. But this businesses exceeded my expectations. Much like other stores of this scale, it is jam packed with merchandise. Not only the brands you would recognize from excursions to Whole paycheck, but many lesser known ones as well. And on closer inspection, most of their inventory is on sale. Prices are clearly labeled the "old school" way, with price stickers, and a good percentage of them are also labeled with a red sale sticker. Noticing this got me to wander around comparing prices on items I'm familiar with, and I found that many items were very competitively priced. Take for example a Gelato I had never heard of, a 2(?) pint container that was originally $7, was marked down to $4. If you have read my ice cream reviews you will have guessed that I had to buy it, and it turned out to be very good. Produce is a favorite of mine, and although the selection is small, prices were also about the same as WF, and on some of the same high quality brands that they carry. So I encourage locals who frequent said national chain to pay this independent store a visit. Customer service is a zero rating for me. I Went to this store twice now & was ignored both times as I walked in the door by both staff that seemed enthralled in their conversation behind the register. Then a white customer walked in & both male cashiers broke their necks to greet her ask if she needed help. I then couldn't find a product & asked one of them for help, the white guy pointed in a direction & that was it. The white lady asked for a product & the black guy rushed to help her find what she needed. Im so disappointed because I spoke to my neighbor who spoke so highly of this place. My money will be spent where I'm treated equally to other customers. Nothing in aisles are clearly marked so finding what you need will take a long time if you don't get help, which they aren't interested in doing. This happened both times I went to this place. Prices are EXTREMELY high so you would think with the amount of money I was spending & supporting in this small business store I would have at least been asked if I needed help. Do better. Natural Health: A great place to buy groceries I recently started shopping at Natural Health in Lindenwold again for the first time in perhaps a decade. This place is more than just a small health food store; you can actually do your food shopping here. It is the size of a convenience store, but has a great selection. I like to buy products that are healthy, free-trade, and organic, and it seems like the only places in South Jersey to do this anymore are Whole Foods (which I do love) and Wegman's, the corporate giant. Whole Foods offers wonderful products (including local and free-trade) and does a great job bringing them to a wider market, but it is refreshing to shop somewhere that feels more personal, where there are actually people around to ask questions, where you don't spend 15 minutes trying to find an item. There are few smaller stores in the area--in fact, I can't think of another--that offer a good variety of healthy foods, body care, organic produce, breads, and bulk items. Natural Health also has an especially impressive selection of food for people with allergies and special diets. Some of the products are priced higher than they might be at Whole Foods, but many are not. Also, the sale items are priced much lower than you would ever find at the bigger stores. Most of the products that made it into my shopping cart were dramatically-reduced sale items. This small business is in a location that will not be getting a Whole Foods any time soon; the folks at Natural Health are bringing organic products to people who might otherwise have no access to them. That's another great reason to shop here. Natural Health has been around a long time; I just wasn't going because I never had a reason until recently to be in that area, so I kind of forgot about the place. But even if you don't have any other reason to be in Lindenwold, this store is enough of one. I am so glad I rediscovered it. Natural Health is down the road from Camden County College and UMDNJ's Stratford location. It is at the corner of Blackwood-Clementon & Laurel Roads in Lindenwold, New Jersey. When is it ever appropriate to push your personal beliefs on a customer? If you said "never," you win. I walked into Natural Health to buy soap; I didn't guess that I'd be getting medical advice too. I visited right after I had gotten bloodwork; a short conversation led to one of the employees telling me that I was wrong for taking levothyroxine (which I've been taking since I was 6) and that I should take kelp instead. Why? "Because it has iodine that treats your hypothyroidism." This guy is giving terrible, possibly life-threatening advice. In my particular condition, ceasing to make medication and instead opting for the"natural" alternative could lead to organ failure, autoimmune attacks, and Hashiomoto's. Unless someone has a medical degree, they shouldn't be giving medical advice. If you are on the clock as a cashier, you shouldn't be telling me that I'm wrong for taking a medication that I've been on since I was 6 and saved my life. It's entirely unprofessional and offensive. I'm so excited about this store! As someone who looooves Whole Foods I actually prefer this little heath food store. The products are not overpriced and everything is fresh. They carry things that Whole Foods doesn't even have. They have an extensive raw honey section and the prices were even cheaper than Amazon! This store has tons of bulk nuts, grains, vitamins, cleaning products, natural skin care, produce, and vegan foods. I absolutely loved the bulk herb section; they carry every herb and flower you could think of. The tea section contained more teas than any fancy supermarket and I was so happy to see they had elderberry! I can't wait to come back here. read more

I am so glad to see that I wasn't the only person to have a racist run-in at this store. I sat strawberries blueberries and avocados on the front counter, out of the way of the cashier, while I ran to get collagen. I was told by the short man with black glasses "can you get your stuff!!! I don't want your stuff sitting here!". He was rude and nasty. I said" my things arent bothering you and Im spending my money...you could have found a better way to communicate that. He continues to say things. I asked the new woman for the owners name. The man who appeared to be the owner that was sitting in the back... of course heard the whole interaction...and said absolutely nothing until he heard me say "Ill be writing a letter and informing all social media platforms of their racist employees and owner.". Then he asks, can I help you with anything? I said yes, the man in the front was rude and repeated our interaction. To address the matter, he says he probably just didn't want to get your items confused. I responded, sir my items are no where near him and he could have found a better way to say that, in fact maybe he could have said nothing! So unfortunate..we are still here in 2021. As a school principal, these type of interactions are so disheartening. It pains my heart that black and brown babies will continue to have these racist encounters. read more

Awesome local health food store that actually has food in it, not just vitamins & supplements. Fresh fruit, grains, cereals, baking needs, soups in vegetarian, vegan and non-vegetarian organic varieties. Great selection of mock meat products from big and small names. Bread and bread products are in the freezer section so if you really need to make that sandwich/pita right away, you'll have to defrost it first. Staff is extremely helpful, knowledgeable and along with the store in general, never seems like it's a know-it-all or look down at you when you buy (gasp!) eggs. Prices are fairly consistent with most other health food places in the area, they have different specials during the week as well as a discount table. this store is AMAZING! I have been going there for years now but would have gone even longer if i had realized sooner that they have EVERYTHING! and if by some chance they do not, they will find it and ORDER IT FOR YOU. i mean ANYTHING. all of the produce is organic of course, but you pay much LESS here for it than at any supermarket. they don't mark it up so you can't use your coupons for it, but you almost never pay full price for anything. you can print out coupons at couponclipper.com for 20% off OR go to the store's website and print out coupons with NO expiration date for 15% off. the only gripe I have is that they are super stingy about the coupons. you cannot use one if it's expired even though you can just pull up another one and print it out. you cannot just pull it up on your phone and show them or any other way around it. but that certainly does not affect my rating. they have to do what they have to do to stay around and i truly hope they will always be here. I like others go here when I can't get to Wegmans or Whole Foods which is most of the time due to distance. On a positve note, they have always been great if I needed a product special ordered to order it in a timely fashion and follow up with a phone call when in BUT lately I've noticed the staff stands around and gossips plus the roof tiles (interior) are in disrepair and leaking..several times I was in there they just had towels on the floor to catch the rain..once water dripped on my head..I brought it up to one of the workers and they were like, "yeah, the owner is aware of it" yet it doesn't seem they are in any hurry to fix it. :(.
