I initially reached out to Rodridgo Carr. AKA Rigo from Arkham Electric for a quote to replace my sub panel. He was polite, professional, and explained the brands of panels and breakers he used. I appreciated the clarity and the fair price he offered. After comparing a few other quotes and seeing his many positive Yelp reviews, I decided to move forward with him. Unfortunately, after confirming a date for the job, communication stopped. I called the day before to confirm, no answer. I sent a few text messages with no response. On the scheduled day, I tried calling again, but he never responded or showed up. It's now been over two weeks, and I still haven't heard back. I hope everything is okay with him, but the lack of follow-through was disappointing given his great reputation. I ended up hiring Armor Electric (Mehdi Heidarian, CA License #937827) instead. Mehdi provided a competitive quote, arrived on time, and completed the work efficiently and professionally. He advised me he would be by today at 8 am and he was on time, very impressed from a contractor. I showed him my issues and he fixed both items for me in fair amount of time and his final bill came in under his original estimate, he also had Miguel come over to help with the repairs. So I ended up with 2 electricians for the price of one, they were both wearing masks were very polite and cleaned up any mess that was on my garage floor. I will use them again and tell my friends and neighbors that need electrical work done to use them also, I was totally impressed by the work provided and the professionalism by both men. I cannot say enough GREAT things about Rigo, Wilmer, Josh, Miguel, and Andy!!!! Good work is always a must for 5stars, but this entire crew's personality takes it to a whole other level!!!! We did a complete rewire of our top and bottom duplexes and added some stuff like can lighting. We were warned there would be holes and they do not patch them. Every time there was a problem and I'd ask, they'd tell me nothing and that everything is okay, and figure it out. I love this! I love that they don't tell you there's a problem and keep calm!!!! They don't complain. They really are customer oriented and all about making the customer happy!!! Any time they thought I was getting worried about something they'd literally tell me there's nothing to worry about. I cannot say enough great things about how calm, reassuring, and easy to work with they are. In fact, we have a scratch your head thing going on that they don't think is related and still Rigo is checking on me over the weekend! How awesome is it that he cares that much about his clients?! We are currently waiting for the city inspection to be permitted. It ONLY took Rigo's crew 2 weeks to accomplish rewiring an entire duplex, adding can lights, adding poop fan's (anyone that reads my hotel stays knows I'm all about these), added a porch light in backyard, hardwired all of my smoke alarms, added outlets, 2 new sub panels, garage lighting and outlet for future garage door, and had to remove and put back up an O.G. TV that Rigo told Phil it's time for a new one hahahaha. We really like these guys and are going to miss seeing them when they aren't around anymore. Obviously, we highly recommend them!!!! Recently we had an electrician out to replace a light switch, install a few outlets on our patio and install an outdoor TV. The electrician was not only rude, but also told us that we had multiple electrical "problems" that needed to be fixed, with an estimate of a few thousand dollars. I have been undergoing an extensive home remodeling project which required a lot of electrical work. Arkham has done ALL of it to perfection , from full electric panel replacement and new wiring to changing out a single outlet. Not only is their work excellent (and super clean), their customer service is the very best. Early in the rough electrical process, we found that an outlet that served the hot water heater would be out of commission. I have used Arkham 2x for my recent condo purchase - they are the only service that went smooth with no issues of all the things I have had done. Its been challenging and stressful and at least Rodrigo made it less so when it came to my electrical needs. Especially when I had an electric range delivered by Sears and unbeknown to me it was hardwired. Rodrigo was referred to me through a friend. He came in early January and provided an estimate to install 6 outdoor lighting fixtures and a recessed light in a closet and a bathroom. I wasn't able to move forward with the work at the time, but when I was ready at the end of April, I contacted him. If anyone is looking for any type of electrical work done at their home or office. I would highly recommend Arkham Electric. Rodrigo came over personally to do the estimate for our home. He gave us the best price so, we went with him. The following week Rodrigo, Rene and Miguel came over to our home in Carson and did the work in just two days. We had a lot of work for them to do which included upgrading our panel box, and placing it in a new location of the home, installing the bedroom fans, installing a vent in the bathroom, installing two track lighting. In addition, place up to six sockets throughout the house, and run four dedicated lines to our major appliances. They did all of the work with very minimal holes on the walls. They worked hard, were very efficient and professional, even under 90 degrees weather. They even came back a couple of times to help with the city permit inspection and fix the tripped gfi socket. Rodrigo won the work I wanted by being the quickest, most professional, and comprehensive to respond. I wanted a quote on running a power cord from a security camera into my roof and installing a new receptacle in the attic. He got back to me straight away, and asked for photos. He quoted me right off the photos, and I booked him in, even though he only had a couple of reviews. He just seemed like a pro. He reminded me the night before the job with a text.
