I have been financed with this company for 4+ years, and from my own experience they are definitely an outstanding company along with the people working here. On countless occasions they have helped me through financial hardship, allowing me to catch up and stay on time with the payments. They are truly very understanding with you as long as you keep them in the loop and up to date. I'm close to paying off my car in the next couple of months, and can whole heartedly say that I will definitely use them in the future for financing a car. 10/10 financing company. read more

They financed me with a low 600's credit score from Experian and mid 500's with Equifax & Transunion! I have a high but reasonable interest rate for my credit rating and they're good to deal with once you've purchased the vehicle! As with any lender you need to make your payments on time or there's a late fee but again it's very reasonable only being like $10 if you're less then 30 days late! If your credit improves you'll need to refinance with another lender and they don't have an early payoff penalty! The ladies working in the office are easy to deal with and as long as your first 6 or 7 payments are on time they will work with you a little bit after that if you're late within a 30 day period! Not sure if you're more then 30 days late and hopefully never have to find out! I would use them again if I needed to! Thank you Ark Financial read more

Purchased a Ford Edge, 2016 and financed through Ark Financial. From the moment I have been with them, beginning 6/23/2023, they have been extremely horrible in assisting with solutions. Such as, my payments are always exactly 1 week behind because they will not work with me and adjust the week, so like clock work i make a $239 payment every 2 weeks, just on the opposite week from what they want. I have asked several times and they tell me they will not adjust it. Ok, cool at some point i will get it flipped around myself. Now fast forward to current circumstances, I take my Edge to get the oil changed, as the car has now promoted for it to be done, nothing out of the normal is happening with the car, drives fine, just says it's time for the change, so i do it. The mechanic tells me that there is coolant in my oil, i ask if he can still do the change and he says yes. Also refills my coolant. This is on a Sunday, know ing better, i still try to call Ark. They are closed so i call first thing the next morning. I get ahold of Esmeralda, i tell her what is going on, she tells me we will send a truck to pick it up, i explain to her that i work and i need the time to be scheduled for the pick up, She then tells me to just leave the keys in the car and leave the door u locked and the tow truck driver can just pick it up. I responded a bit shocked that she would advise that, I told her no, I do not feel comfortable doing that and i'd rather be here when they come to get it. She told me ok, then said the tow truck company will be in contact with me, after a WEEK of back and fourth with the tow truck company, that is an entirely different mess, finally the following Monday morning the tow truck comes at 830am to get the Edge. Ok, the repair shop that the car is being towed to. is about 30 mins away from my home, I don't hear anything for about 3 days and so i call Ark. No answer, this happens A LOT. I get through to the payments department and explain to them that i need to be in contact with the service contract department, No answer. I call the repair shop myself, come to find out they did not get my car until Tuesday, 24 hrs AFTER the car was picked up from me. Concerning as well. Ok now i spend 4-5 days back and fourth trying to get this resolved, time and time again, esmeralda has told me she will update me, then i end up talking to a different woman, neither of them express any sort of empathy, just horrible attitude. Ok fine, after about 2 weeks i finally get an answer, first the heads need replaced one day, and now two days later there is water in the engine and the engine needs replaced and i am responsible for it, even though i have the service contract with them that is supposed to cover these kinds of issues, but because i have put 12000 miles on the car, service contract is 24,000 miles, but due to not doing an oil change after driving it for 3-5000 miles and waiting for the car to notify the oil change is due, i am now responsible for the engine. I have to pay up front before they will give the car back to me, or they will repossess the car on the grounds of negligence. I have had the car 5 months now... I ended up financing with this company because i am not in a position to just buy a new car, or go to an expensive dealership for help, but im a good customer, I have kids also and have been in a rental car for a week now and they won't even help me with that. This is insane and i have never had this kind of experience. These are truely horrible people. This is terrible to do to someone. Not even an option to wrap the charges into the loan, if i had 4,000 in my hand I would go and finance a better car. Instead if i do not take care of the engine and they repossess it's my debt to pay either way. 18,0000 for this car for 5 months. read more

Mike over billed me by 1000$ due to a miscommunication..in fairness after I caught that report..the 1k was sent back to me . The vehicule in question was sold to me As a theft recovery with no physical damage , I was told the salvage title report would indicate theft recovery but no physical damage. After purchasing , i looked up the Carfax and discovered that the truck was not only stolen/recovered , it also had reported front end damage which ..unfortunately creates "diminished value" There is a big difference in value between a car that has never been wrecked and one that has, even when the repairs are done right, the value is severely Diminished. I was told after I confronted Rob about this that the damage to front end wasn't bad..I tried to explain that the issue isn't so much the damage as much as the fact that the report on this truck indicated damage and this was never disclosed to me . I had the truck inspected by an independent source, and they found nothing wrong. By washing and detailing the engine compartment, they covered up the fact that there was an oil leak at the top front of the engine. I called the warranty company and they had no record of the warranty on file. I called got trucks back and after speaking to the sales manager, and the service manager, and the finance dept., they indicated they would get this underway. This was seven days after the sale. I will likely not go back to this dealership, as they covered up a serious enough problem. Plus they did not follow through on registering the warranty in due time. I do have the warranty, but I will definitely take it somewhere else to have it repaired. I cannot trust their service department after this incident.

However, the agent informed me that in order to activate the card and change the PIN number, I would need to call the number stated on the information paper she provided. It was a bit inconvenient to have to go through this process instead of doing it at the bank, but I accepted it. I rarely use my debit card since I prefer using my credit cards for points and rewards. A few days later, I decided to call the number she had given me, but to my surprise, it did not work. The number appeared to be disconnected. When I attempted to contact their customer service, unfortunately, I received a recorded message that says it was outside of their operating hours, and I was unable to receive any further assistance. I don't have a lot of confidence in a bank that can't even get their phone numbers in order. Due to this frustrating experience, I'm inclined to leave a one-star rating.

The name that is on file is the name used on the check. She was rude and could care less, she sounded racist and even though I told her I would take my business to another bank and close my Wells Fargo account she did not seem to care they were loosing a customer. What is happening with workers who no longer are wanting to work, workers with a lack of empathy, workers who are so cold when treating customers? This place needs better customer service! TJ Schlake was my sales consultant, and Mustafa, one of the sales managers, were both outstanding to work with. Their first priority was trying to find me another vehicle that fit exactly what I was looking for. When we couldn't find the right replacement, there was no pressure or hassle. They honored their return policy, took the vehicle back without any issues, and refunded my down payment exactly as promised. Even though the first vehicle didn't work out, the customer service was exceptional, and that's what I'll remember most. They treated me with respect throughout the entire process and made what could have been a frustrating experience incredibly easy. My family has had another great experience with CarMax as well. We sold my son's car to them, and they offered significantly more than anyone else. The process was quick, straightforward, and transparent. They paid off the remaining loan and handed him a check for the difference before he left. There was no back-and-forth negotiation, and the entire purchase process was remarkably streamlined compared to traditional dealerships. From start to finish, it took a little over an hour to complete the paperwork and drive off the lot. Llyah was excellent to work with and made the buying experience smooth and stress-free. After purchasing the vehicle, I took it to a local BMW dealership for an independent inspection. They identified a few concerns, including tread depth that was below acceptable standards on three of the four tires and an overdue cooling system flush. The BMW service department suggested I contact CarMax to see whether they would address the issues. A few days after reaching back out to CarMax, I was contacted by Alexandria from the service department. She explained that CarMax generally does not perform preventative maintenance based on age and instead follows mileage-based maintenance guidelines. Because the vehicle had not reached the mileage threshold for a cooling system flush, they declined to perform that service, even though it had been more than four years since the last one. However, CarMax did inspect the tires and ultimately determined that three of the four did not meet their sales standards. They replaced all three tires at no cost, including mounting and balancing. I was surprised they did not feel an alignment was necessary, as I've typically had one performed whenever new tires are installed, but I appreciated their willingness to correct the tire issue without any pushback. Another issue surfaced a few days after purchase when a sour odor began coming through the vents. While trying to locate the source, I discovered a decomposing rat in the vehicle. Combined with the tire situation, this left me with the impression that the pre-sale inspection may have been more cursory than thorough. Despite those concerns, I was impressed with the professionalism of the staff, the efficiency of the buying process, and CarMax's willingness to resolve significant quality issues after the sale. The customer service was excellent throughout. That said, their vehicle inspection and preparation process before putting cars on the lot could use some improvement. If those areas were addressed, this would easily be a five-star experience.

Last month, I had the same check engine light come on. I brought it to the shop, and also got my oil changed. My first complaint is the oil change was $70. That's ridiculous. Second, they couldn't determine what the issue was, yet still charged us for labor. This month, the check engine light came on again. After such a bad experience, we went to a different shop and this shop told us the catalytic converter was bad. Not sure what horrible off brand they used, but catalytic converters are supposed to last for ten years. Yes, this shop has great customer service, but I can't help feeling like I was scammed by them. Update: The owner did call me, which I do appreciate, and did ask if there was anything that could be done--but unfortunately the damage is done.

He has been there for me every step of the way and hasn't charged me even close to what other mechanics wanted to charge me FOR THE SAME SERVICES! They were very professional and kind hearted about my accident, which was not my fault. I had to ask them numerous questions and if I could not get a hold of them, Blanca would call me back the first opportunity she had and would make me feel at ease. The owner Johnny is also very accommodating and hilarious. He does a great job helping out his crew and is also very professional and easy to trust. I was told to take my car to a dealership but did not want to go that route and I'm so happy that I had it towed to CTP Auto . I received my car back in a timely fashion, and it looked like there had not been any damage done. Highly recommend. They will not disappoint.

The owner Ray is super nice n informative but my issue is I was told $400-600 for what my car…read moreneeded and when looking at my receipt the part cost me 404.00. When I googled this part u can find it for 120.00. Also if you use your card to pay be prepared to be charged the fee. Mine was an extra 21.00. He said when my car was done it was gonna be 600, when I got there it was 768. Had I just bought the part myself n his labor was 196 I could've came out way cheaper. He also had to lyft me which was only 8 bucks n wouldn't let me use the 10% coupon cuz he paid for the lyft. He also stated he was going to look for a better gas cap n he did but failed to tell me it was 50 bucks! I could've probably found that cheaper on my own or at least been told hey just so u know I found a gas cap n it's gonna cost you this much n then let me decide if I wanted to spend that much. But the work got done n I can't complain it's only been a few weeks, n I did like that Ray was nice. Just wish he hadn't flip flopped with the cost. He turned out not being any cheaper than the other quotes minus the gas cap n credit card fees.
