I would've given them a 3 if not for the sheer unpleasantness of a salesperson just going on and on about their products. Everything they carry is leather (surprise surprise) and there are also accessories too. Sure, the sofas are comfortable, reasonably nice looking, but the price tag.... WHOA!! The guy told me that everything is made in Chino, CA.... not CHINA. OK, I get it. It's not going to be as cheap as stuff made in China, but then again, I didn't expect it to cost even more than Italian-made furniture. DANG!! Seriously, for CA made stuff, I would've expected a better price. These sofas were in the range of $3000 average. The salesperson was trying to sell me the fact that these are quality sofas, not made in China, he was ragging on his competition (and there are a huge amount of them in the Lake Forest area) saying how it's made in China (yes he used that a lot) and most of them using plywood etc etc etc. First of all, do not assume you know what I'm looking for. Yes, most people like quality furniture, myself included, however, I am not the type who would possibly want to keep a piece of modern day furniture forever. Does that make sense? I'm at a stage in my life that my tastes are changing... who knows if I'm going to like that piece in 5 years? Or 10 years? For three grand, I'd probably want to keep the damn thing until I die.... but then again.... would I like it for that long? Plus, I have a young child who is more than likely going to destroy furniture even though it's leather. I've on more than one occasion found pen marks (or worse yet, Sharpie marks) on my leather sofas so no, I'm not planning to throw down a few thousand dollars for a sofa. If you've lots of disposable income and you don't care whether or not you will still like your furniture say in 5 years' time, then by all means go to Arizona Leather Company. Like I said, the stuff is nice, and like the salesperson stipulates, HIGH quality stuff. I don't doubt that for one minute. But please, stand back and just let your potential customers browse in peace and let them come to you if they have questions. Don't crowd them with a barrage of questions about what they're looking for because sometimes, people just need to browse and get some ideas first. read more

First let me say that we almost didn't buy from Arizona Leather because of the horrible experience with the sales person at the Tustin location who barely folded down the newspaper he was reading to acknowledge that we were in the store and who was so disinterested in answering the few questions we asked that we left the store and vowed to never go back. Cut to a few months of furniture shopping later and realizing that we really needed a custom made couch. We read the reviews for the Laguna Hills location on Lake Forest Drive and decided that maybe a different store location could make a difference. So...we popped in and we are so glad we did. JODY MILLER was AMAZING! She greeted us like a friend and made sure she understood exactly what we were looking for. She took the time to sit with us and look through the photos we had of the room that the new furniture would go in so that she could have a better understanding of the exact sizes and colors that we were looking for. She explained the differences in the leather choices, she made sure we knew exactly how each of the electric recliners would operate and made sure we had the measurements figured out correctly as we were going for a fairly exact fit. Jody was an extremely knowledgeable consultant and she made sure that we were leaving the store with accurate expectations for what we would be receiving. The delivery team was amazing and was completely willing to work with us to make sure the couch was exactly where we wanted it and that everything was in working order before they left. I can't speak to the longevity of the product because it is only a few months old, but it is beautiful and turned out exactly as we hoped it would so we are extremely hopeful that we will get to enjoy this purchase for many year. read more

I have had the Arizona leather recliner for five years and All is good. I will be purchasing a sofa soon. They described the leather as type you would find on boots . We purchased a 4 piece sectional couch from them 5 months ago. At the cost of $4500. Last week we noticed one of the cushions was changing colors in the middle of the cushion. We brought it back to the store and we were accused of cleaning the leather with Ajax The absolute worst customer service ever !!!!! They're now saying they are going to "fix" the spot by recovering that area but it will take 6-8 weeks I will never step into that store again. We just replaced our Arizona Leather sectional couch that lasted 17 years without a hiccup. Like the last purchase, we were thrilled with the same salesman, Gilbert at the Irvine/Lake Forest Store. Gilbert is simply an amazing person and of course is extremely knowledgeable. We decided to order a new leather sectional couch and recliner. Gilbert was upfront with us on how long it was going to take based on our leather selection. Of course, I would have loved to have it in a couple weeks, but sometimes good things are worth the wait and this was no exception. When our new pieces arrived I was blown away with the quality and attention to detail. It's beautiful as it is comfortable. The men who delivered the pieces were very courteous and helpful in setting everything up as we purchased an area rug and wanted it centered. We hope our new leather furniture lasts for another 17 years like our previous purchase. We also decided to purchase a warranty given the cost of our purchase it gives us peace of mind for 5 years. buyer beware, do not buy leather furniture from arizona leather co. i wish i could give them 0 stars. special ordered a couch/loveseat 9/2/18, received it 12/8/19. all looked good till we noticed the ripples on the side of the loveseat frame. we called to get it repaired. while waiting for the tech to come out, we noticed the cushions on the couch-less than 4 weeks of owning it-showed our body imprints after sitting on it for 2 hrs. called gilbert only to be told " ripples, waves, wrinkles & stretching of the leather is normal and not covered under warranty. like so many reviews, from the owner down to customer service-there isn't 1 ounce of service. justin & mike the sm, never once called or emailed me back. their culture is "take the money and run!!!!" there is no warranty on workmanship-its all normal. a $6000. custom order and all we got was ripples, wrinkled leather pieces next to smooth pieces you can see on the back of the frame. crab for workmanship.....the cushions don't match and someone can't sew a straight line, its got lumps and sags. the leather should be tight and smooth, but its not. see attached pics. I've been dealing with the Torrance store. I'm pleased to say my experience has been nothing short of excellent. Happened in while they ere having a sale on selected leathers and they paid the sales tax. We knew nothing about leather and truly appreciated the education we received. I wouldn't get my leather furniture anywhere else now. We ordered two of their top of the line sofas. Saved approx. two grand. Custom made to our specs. Chose leather we liked ( treated to resist scratches, fading and staining) and no nail heads.. They were delivered on time and exactly as ordered. In fact, loved them so much went back and ordered a chair to match ( different style, same leather, no nail heads). Got the same discounts and it should be delivered before Christmas. This company has the worst customer service imagineable. We bought a sofa and a sectional, and the cushions we received were not the same quality as they had in the store. They have sent 3 technicians out to the house to replace the cushions, but this went on from October to April and took MANY phone calls to get them out here at all. Several of the cushions were so soft that you sank completely down into them. We now have a variety of medium to firm cushions and I have given up. There is no consistency in their quality whatsover. If I could have given them 0 stars, I would have. We are now 7 months into our 12 month warranty. They have just strung us out and left us out to dry. We would have gotten better customer service from Macy's - or even Big Lots! read more

We have purchased sofas and recliners twice. The quality has been good but the service is impossible. We purchased the three year warranty. Our last leather sofa has the electric footrests/recline option. After 1.5 years, the motor ceased working on one. We called Arizona Leather who directed us to Montage-the actual company who services their claims. For over nine months, we went round and round about addressing the issue. Montage sent a technician who was completely correct but he was not believed. Neither company wanted to fix the problem as it was the most expensive part. Everyone denied the fix. After almost nine months, it was completed satisfactorily. My major complaints: 1. Length of time to rectify 2. Lack of responsibility by Montage who Arizona contracts with 3. What Arizona Leather does not tell you at time of purchase is any part needing to be fixed/replaced is a one time event. After that is it is your $$ if a part breaks through no fault of your own. read more

Yesterday the tech came out to service the sofa. It appears the actuators went bad. Joel our tech was very pleasant and figured out the problem right away. He was done in about 20min. Everything works on the sofa perfectly and my family is back to enjoying movie time. I also received a call from the president of the company yesterday, sorry I missed his name. I appreciated the call very much, he seemed like a very nice person, it's good to know that he cares about his company to reach out to the customers. I just purchased a beautiful custom leather reclining couch from Arizona Leather, and am eager to receive it. I have shopped extensively to find a leather couch in the desired color, size and style that will be well suited to our home. Arizona had not one, but several models that met all of our specifications. The salesmen, Gilbert and Paul, were professional, interested in helping me find the ideal product, and knew their products well. They thoroughly described each product including specific pros and cons based on our needs, and clearly outlined the sales process and policies. Arizona is the only store that could offer the exact shade of leather (deep red) that we wanted - so many colors and types of leather from which to choose! I had shopped first at La-Z-Boy, knowing they would carry a wide variety of reclining models. Their staff were interested and helpful, and knew their products well. Unfortunately they didn't have the combination of specs that we desired. Nice quality and styles to meet most needs, just not on the mark for us this time. The worst experiences were at Easy Life and Renaissance Furniture in Laguna Hills. I had a credit card in hand ready to purchase a quality couch, but sales staff in both stores completely ignored me. I walked the floor in both stores for over 10 minutes, and not once did a salesperson greet me or offer assistance. They DID see me, the stores were NOT busy, and I was obviously not important. Additionally, their showrooms didn't have on display anything remotely meeting my needs. I visited Ashley, which also was a bad experience. They have a wide inventory, but the quality is poor and the selections didn't meet my needs. The salesperson was creepy, and must have had a hearing problem. in spite of telling him exactly what I was looking for, he continued to show me inappropriate products despite my continued efforts to repeat what I wanted. Additionally, I informed him that we wanted high quality, and he kept pushing me toward imitation leather discussing the low price point. With my patience depleted, I decided I would never walk into that store again! I am pleased to have found a store that not only had exactly what I wanted, but salesmen that treated me in a professional manner. Bought and prepaid with a deposit for more than half of a $10,000 + Bison Leather sofa. The delivery took much longer than I expected and was well beyond the estimated delivery they committed to. When the sofa finally arrived it was defective with multiple very visible creases and imperfections not just related to the hide. While I understand that the hides do have inconsistencies and "character" and I don't have a problem with that this was much worse. I sent pictures and other documentation to the salesmen at the Lake Forrest store. They agreed that the hide (in a very visible area) seemed like there was a problem but they couldn't help me. At this point the sofa was paid for in full which is what they demanded at the time of delivery. The customer service guy was rude, insulting quite aggressive and told me that he didn't think this was a problem and that maybe that section of the hide was from the neck of the animal and that basically I shouldn't be bothering him with this. They sent a "repair" guy out who couldn't fix it and he told me they really should replace that section. I called the customer service guy back and he was unhelpful and quite rude. He basically didn't want to be bothered. I have purchased another leather (not Bison leather) from Arizona Leather years ago and that experience was better. At this point having tried everything I could without success I've given up. I feel like I got ripped off. I would never buy anything from there again. They are very expensive which is fine if the quality and customer service was good - but it's not. STAY AWAY, YOU'RE BETTER OFF GOING TO A LARGE FURNITURE STORE THAT HAS LEATHER PRODUCTS. We decided to shop multiple furniture stores looking for the right sectional for our lifestyle. After finding several other options we decided to stop in to the Arizona Leather in Irvine while we were passing by. With very little expectations we met a sales person named Paul. Paul absolutely changed our opinion about Arizona Leather. He was attentive to our needs and gave us the impression that he actually cared about our business. Paul was extraordinarily knowledgeable and honest in regards to his product. Paul made us feel as though our business was important to his company and restored our faith in buying from an American company. Had to give a shout out to this store for exemplary customer service! Took a cushion from a leather sectional that we had purchased 8 years ago that needed a zipper connector sewn on. Not only did they put the zipper on the cushion - but also restuffed the pillow (which I had ruined by taking stuffing out)- bringing it back to it's original shape and did it for FREE!! I was shocked - had completely expected to pay for the work as it was my fault the zipper hadn't been completed the first time (new cushion made 3 years ago due to dog biting it - I didn't want to wait for the zipper - chose to leave velcro on instead-my bad!) Not only was Jody Miller (manager) very helpful but the cushion was completed in under a week! Thank you so much Jody and Gilbert Diaz (manager too). We love our couch, and it still looks good after 8 years of HARD use by 2 adults, 2 teenagers and 3 giant breed dogs! We will definitely make this our "go-to" for furniture store. read more

I recently bought a spray bottle of the "Arizona Leather" brand leather cleaner to clean a love seat and sofa, which were also purchased from the Arizona Leather Co. I was very disappointed. The product was absolutely worthless. I didn't notice any difference on any of the mildly dirty areas where I tried it. It didn't remove newspaper ink, handprints, skin oils, shoe marks or any other type of soil. I actually got better results using a cloth dampened with only water. I did purchase this product knowing it had a no refund policy. But, for $49.00 a bottle I actually expected that it would clean my Arizona Leather products as promised. They must think that if you can afford to buy their furniture that you won't complain too much over a few extra bucks spent if their cleaner doesn't work. I am just glad that I didn't buy the leather conditioner at the same time. They refused to refund, replace or give me a store credit for the leather cleaner. They stated, "Since they sell the bottles unsealed they don't know if a customer may tamper with the contents and then try to return it". I am surprised that an established company would try to scam $49.00 short-term from a customer who already stated they had bought their furniture before? Most other businesses I know are focused on keeping customers happy long-term. Satisfied customers normally recommend and refer their friends to a business they trust which helps those businesses grow and remain profitable long-term. I will never buy form Arizona Leather again and I will mention my experience and concerns to everyone I know. The best leather cleaner and conditioner products I used recently on my leather furniture were the "Lexol" brand spray products manufactured by Summit Industries, Inc. For product info go to their web site www.lexol.com. They have products for a wide range of leathers including those used in automobiles. The bottles are less than $10.00 each and were recommended to me by a leather specialist who has over 30 years experience cleaning, repairing and dyeing leathers. One local retail store that sells their products is Pep Boys auto parts. read more

Arizona Leather is very high in price and the owner is the most arrogant person I have ever encountered. He goes on and on about how all the furniture company's have folded and how his company is still around, so I should be privilege to own one of his pieces of furniture (leather sofas). They don't stand by their products and will always say, "there's nothing wrong with your sofa" when you know that it is. They have put more time in telling me how they're saving me money by not getting my sofa fix, than when their going to fix it. Leave it to them everything is built perfect, but that is not the case. Don't be fooled. They say they give 5 years on the sofa, however you only get 3 years on the mechanism if it reclines. I had a color fade problem within the first year. They sent a guy out to replace the faded part with some dye. It never restored to the right color. They never offered to replace the sofa and became argumentative and rude when I mentioned it. I should have took them to court, but I was trying to work with them. They don't tell you that the pillows will flatten and they won't replace them. Instead, they will offer you fiber so you can replace them yourself. I live 5 minutes from Chino and its been at lease 4 weeks that I've been waiting for an appointment to get my sofas stuffed professionally, and I had to fight on the phone with this guy to get that done. For all the things you don't get with the warranty, the price is way to high for sofas. Arizona Leather Company may be great for their employees, but very very bad for the consumer. And guess what! My wife and I recently purchased a sectional sofa from this store, but have also purchased several other Arizona Leather pieces of furniture over the past 15 years and absolutely love the products. The solid construction (made in the USA) as well as the many choices of leather grades and superb quality of even the lowest grade of leather has brought us back time and again. We can't say enough good things about the two gentlemen who assisted us - Gilbert and Paul. They are both very knowledgable and thorough professionals who were extremely pleasant and easy to work with and very accommodating whenever we needed to change a few of our selections before ordering. They have a great showroom with a large and varied inventory to help you choose the exact combination you want. We've owned many pieces of leather furniture from various reputable retailers (Ethan Allen, Thomasville, Macy's Home Store, Lane, Drexel Heritage, et.al.) and feel that the quality of Arizona Leather furniture equals , if not surpasses, any of these. High quality leather furniture is never cheap, but we've always felt like their prices were not all that different from other high-end stores - we made our purchases during one of their frequent sales and made a substantial savings in doing so.
