We selected an elegant shade of beige with hints of yellow and green depending on how the sun is shining. We waited the full 30 days after painting to replace items on the painted shelves that were part of our kitchen. I have waited until now to write my review to be sure that the painted cabinet surfaces held up to everyday wear and tear. All I can say is that Elite did a fantastic job! Ernesto came and gave us the initial quote in December 2025 and he was also on our job every single day. Our painting work was performed by Ernesto himself and one other contractor (Tony). They worked quite independently, diligently and were patient and easy to communicate with throughout the project as I was onsite (and watching intently) the entire time. Ernesto's and Tony's work was top-notch. Also, the office staff person, Sasha, did a great job, start to finish: first, in getting us scheduled in a very timely manner; all the way to the end, with final payment processing. Then Dan came to our house and spent a significant amount of time with us explaining our options, showing us samples of cabinets, and answering all of our questions. We opted for several additional options on top of our initial estimate, but we never felt pressured to add or upgrade anything. We initially had hoped to do refacing to improve the overall aesthetic of our kitchen, but we were so excited to discover some of the additional options that were offered that solved functional problems that had always bothered us! When we reached out to Better Than New, we didn't even realize how much they could do besides just refacing. We replaced all of our old, hard-to-open drawers with beautiful, easy to open, soft-close drawers. We added a pull-out drawer for trash and recycling bins. We replaced sagging shelves in our cabinets. And we replaced the shelves in our deep pantry with drawers, making the space SO much more usable and accessible for our tall family. So not only is the kitchen beautiful, but it's so much more functional. There were zero hidden fees. The work was absolutely immaculate. The team was incredibly professional. Someone came out to our house initially for the first consultation and we looked at images, sample colors, and got pricing. We ended up waiting a while before scheduling as we had some work trips come up, family stuff, and some other things that we couldn't do it in the timeframe we had initially thought, but we finally got it done this last week. Communicating with the company was incredibly easy, the woman answering the phones was super friendly and courteous and we were happy that we were able to book an appointment within a couple of weeks from calling. A technician came to do the tub portion on the first day and came back the second day to do the surround and shower. He was very professional, clean and communicative during the whole process. The smell was a little bit strong for us, so we did have to open some windows and doors and get some fans going since we are on the sensitive side to odors. Overall not a big deal. The room was covered and taped off... we could not wait for the reveal!!
