Super disappointed that Aritzia Coquitlam Centre forgot to take the security tag off one of my garments. I web-chatted to see what my options were since I live 1.5 drive to the closest store and was told I could take it to any of their stores. Not super helpful. I appreciated that they offered to send me an email copy of my receipt since I had already discarded the hard copy but I guess I was wishing for something more helpful...especially when I shopped a lot that day including this $98 dollar accessory. At least offer me free shipping so I could order a new one and the option to return the one I have past the 10 day limit. I love a lot of their products but this experience from a customer service perspective was poor - first at the store and then with customer service through webchat. read more

The "worst" customer service can be experienced here. It's one thing with associates who are full of attitudes (only a couple of genuine staffs) but another to leave makeup stained clothes. They should really do something about it and for those who are looking to get an item mailed to the store, avoid because it takes ridiculously long time even from within GTA and the store never will never pick up the phone even when the store is not busy. They should look into the problems and try to improve, step up their game but till then, I'm choosing another store. read more

Disappointed and shocked at their poor customer service. I was directed to the Robson location from the PC Aritzia yesterday to pick up a pair of pants. When I handed in my quote, the girl working on the floor gave me the snobbiest attitude ever and told me she had never seen the pants before in the store. I explained to her that the Staff at the PC location had checked the stock and told me to come pick it up here. Now this girl said that the data in their system is not always accurate...and basically told me there's nothing she can do... without even bothering to check for me. What kind of sales associate in any industry does that? I have been going to the artizia for a while and it's always the same . The staff is always staring at me because I have a cart. I do get watched every time I go into the store . The store is not even wheelchair accessible. As I go in with a cart and I can't get around the store or and to some parts of the store or the change rooms . I went into Wilfreds and the guy who worked there was watching me . I was only in the store for two minutes and my cart beeps for some reason when I go into stores and when I leave . So the guy after watching me came after me and wanted to check my cart . I told him to get lost . Same thing when I went to another location . Guy watching me didn't really help me . Pretended he was helping me but really just watching me and my cart . Sent a letter to Artizia just sent me a standard letter back . I asked for my money back never contacted me . I had to send them numerous emails before the person said to have a conversation on phone ????? Why a fake conversation ???? I went into the other store after my letter I was watched and mistreated so what would the conversation have done ??? So disgusting. There cloths are boring not that great quality. read more

Shopping in Vancouver isn't usually my cup of tea, and everyone I know seems to be wearing something from this place. Nevertheless they do have some quality clothes and some basic pieces I really like. I have a wilfred skirt from there that I can't live without but on the whole I think most of their stuff is way overpriced. Plus, it's mostly made for pencil thin girls so don't get too upset if most of their stuff doesn't fit your body right. The staff is nice, however, I do not like to get burdened while I shop and sometimes they just won't leave you alone. I do check out their selection every once in a while but on the whole its just sold basic pieces and nothing really unique. read more

Aritzia really needs to take a closer look at the kind of people they are hiring. It's a bunch of women in their late 20's who act like they are in high school. They're getting paid minimum wage to fold clothes but they walk around like they are gods gift to earth. They will not give you the time of day unless you have multiple expensive items in your hand. And of course, no mirrors mean you are coaxed out of the change room to be fawned over and told "everything looks amazing in you", "that's such a staple piece"... I literally feel like a I need a friend with me while shopping here because obviously the associates cannot be trusted. They're rude, ingenuine, clueless, and wildly desperate for commission. It's incredibly aggravating when you just want a polite and mature shopping experience. Get it together, Aritzia- or prepare to lose your older clientele (I.e the ones with money to spend). read more

During my visit to Vancouver, I had to make a pit stop on Robson street shopping. I love the atmosphere around this area, especially with all the stores lined up right one after the other. This Aritzia is spacious and pretty big compared to the ones in California that I have checked out already. I had exceptional service during my visit here. Everything was just so cute to me, that I wanted to get everything! I was actually looking for a peacoat at the time, since it was Winter, but the color that I wanted, ran out at the store. The girl that was helping me out, called in several other stores, and found out at a nearby Mall. They put that one on hold for me so that when I come in, all I had to do was pay at the register. In general, she went over and beyond her duties there. She helped me out with choices in peacoats and suggestions on outfits. I love it when someone works with you on your purchases. One thing I should point out though, is that she mentioned I can just buy the peacoat at the store, and go to the other mall and exchange or return it there. That didn't quite make sense to me. But HEY, she wanted the commission I bet, if they do that at Aritzia.. haha. Too bad I didn't fall for that :P read more

This Robson store... For many years now, I have been a fan of Aritzia's products which, in my opinion, provide the comfort, classic style and quality I look for in clothes. Those satisfying characteristics are the basic reasons for my constant desire to replenish my closet with products Aritzia has to offer. Unfortunately, I CANNOT give the same praise for the kind of customer service, or lack thereof, the staff elicits during my occasional drop-in's at the Robson store. Rudeness has been out of style in this day and age. For a well-established company in Canada, I must say that Aritzia has a long way to go in defining within their in-store staff members the importance of giving excellent customer service. Honestly, if I were running this place, I would love to screen out those who cannot provide one. After all, is it really that hard to be polite? I have preferred shopping from Aritzia's website for the reasons stated above. I might keep it that way for convenience and peace of mind for the time-being. Needless to say, I'm also on the verge of being completely "fed up" (with their staff´s lack of etiquette) and, while I'm ashamed to say this, stopping any urge to make future purchases from Aritzia. Though, in an "ideal world", it would be nice to visit Aritzia's stores from time to time and expect to see genuine friendliness from their staff who are happy to represent the brand for a change. I ended up at Aritzia because I was hypnotized by the adorable Vancouver 2010 Olympics gear they had. And in the process of looking for touristy goods to mark my Olympic journey, I ended up loving a lot of the regular clothes too, including the outfits of every shop employee. One of the girls had me convinced that pleather-like leggings would be be a smart look. She didn't say a word to me about them, she was just wearing them. Thank God I faced up to facts... they work on her adorable self, but not me, kiddos. So I just commented on how cute she was and then walked away from the leggings. Phew. If you ever need anything trendy or fun or even work-appropriate, Aritzia seemed like a good place to find things to put in your closet. Even their plain T-shirts are not really plain. Everything is pricey, but you do experience a certain level of class here and there's certainly a designer look to the merchandise. Only thing is that my two long-sleeved Ts are sort of worn looking after six months. All Olympics paraphernalia was overpriced, but it was overpriced EVERYWHERE, so at least I got something I really like and still wear all the time. read more

Ok I must admit that Aritzia does have some overpriced clothes, but with some smart shopping skills there are always those 'classic' pieces that are well worth its money here. I like Aritzia because of its friendly staff, and there's always lots of girls on the floor so the instant that you pick up something to try on, they will approach you and ask to start a room for you. They have their in house brands,TNA, Talula, Talula Babaton, and Wilfred. Each line has their own distinctive style. I do like the Talula blazers and dress pants. Great material, lasting durability! Their TNA hoodies are also great too, comes in a variety of color, in a classic fit or a slim fit. Their winter jackets are a must. Made of a cashmere wool blend, they are cut nicely and come in a variety of styles. Looking for designer jeans? Come here. Carrying a myriad of brands-Seven, Nudie, Rock & Republic, Citizens, J Brand...you will be sure to find something here. The salesgirls are helpful in finding the right style/ fit for you. although they are sometimes a little fake in their compliments ( I know these jeans don't look good on me.) Lately they've also been carrying other brands, such as See by Chôle, Marc by Marc Jacobs, Cynthia Vincent, Vanessa Bruno, Vena Cava!! I recently purchased a beautiful floral Rachel Comey dress here, on sale! They also carrying a large selection of Mackage jackets here, in many different styles and colors. I like this location because it seems like they have the most selection and on the awesome Robson Street. I always stop by this when I'm on my downtown shopping trips!! read more

Being a Vancouverite, I've long known of the Artizia brand. I have a few pieces from here (mostly because I don't have the money or heart to dish out $40 for something as simple as a tank top). I like their clothes and the quality is better than other stores (UB, UP, etc) but I guess the prices match up. Usually at the stores, I am greeted and pretty much left to fend for myself in the store (which I happen to like anyway). Some of the girls are definitely nicer and much more helpful than others (others seem to just want to stand there and converse with each other). If you want to purchase some really nice staple items (blazer, maybe some jeans) then I would choose Aritzia, but be prepared for the price tags. read more

I needed to buy a top to wear to job interviews this week and figured Robson would be the easiest place to find such a thing. Seriously, where do people buy work clothes around here?! Anyway, towards the end of my mission I stumbled upon Aritzia. I was drawn in more by desperation than the clothes on display, but after a good poke through the racks, I found a couple of tops that might do the trick (and eventually bought one). A lot of the clothes aren't really to my taste but they do have a really wide range of stuff and also a good selection of sizes. What really sold me about this place was the staff - super helpful and friendly, and even though they were really busy, they made time to help me out e.g. finding a skirt that I could try the tops on with (note to self: wearing a dress when shopping for a top only is not the best idea). read more

Quite a large space so lots of different styles, sizes, colours, and other selection of items. Decent service and attitude, a bit more rushed but it's downtown. TERRIBLE RETURN POLICY! I ordered a few things online because I don't have a local store and the quality was terrible. I sent one of the items back and paid $8 return shipping (eww) and they put it on an e-gift card. I didn't realize they only have a 14 day return policy. This is not enough time for busy people to try something on, decide, repackage it, and bring to the post office. So I'm one of those people who dresses like a bum to go shopping because it's faster/easier to try on clothes that way. It's why I'm ignored at Holts (lol) but Aritzia seems to hire less shallow people. I'll walk in the store, and if I haven't picked up an item in 5-10 minutes some helpful salesperson is asking me if I need help finding anything. And if I HAVE picked up something, they offer to start me a changing room right away. The best part is, no one tries to push flashy/trendy stuff at me after I tell them that I want basics (a common problem in places selling clothes at similar prices). I tend to go to this location the most often, but I've also gone to the Metrotown/Oakridge locations and had good customer service there as well. read more

Growing up in Vancouver, it's become habitual to enter Aritzia in order to browse the trendy and pretty clothes. But it's also become natural to note what you like, and try to find it elsewhere. Since it's well-known that Aritzia's stuff can be a little pricey. However, Aritzia carries some great investment pieces that just can't be replaced with anything else. Two of my favourite recent purchases are their perfectly fitted and tailored blazer ($125) and their casual fall/winter cotton jacket ($110). Extensive knowledge and support from the staff, surrounded with wonderful clothes, makes this place a girl shopping haven. read more

Checked out all the winter coats, I was disappointed with the craftsmanship. It is as if they come from forever 21 across the street, with slightly better fabric. I would caution if ordering online to either have it delivered to the store and try on there first or inspect the item and take pictures before trying on. I received an item and tried it on for 5-10 minutes at most. The size didn't work so I returned it by mail in the condition I received it with the tags on and ordered another size. I received an email later saying they wouldn't return the item due to bodily fluids on the product with pictures. There were some wrinkles in the picture with some discoloration which could happen with packaging, but not by trying on an item. Maybe it was delivered like that, I don't know. Regardless, I returned the item exactly how I received it. They are now retuning the item back to me and charging me for shipping. I'm not a happy customer Aritizia! EDIT! I just got off chat with Aritzia and they are giving me a refund on the item. When I reached out the customer service was great. I can now order from Aritzia and not have a bad taste. I will still inspect and take pictures when I receive items just to be safe though. Thank you Aritzia!! read more

I've been a loyal customer since the inception of Aritzia, spent thousands upon thousands of dollars on Babaton, Wilfred, C.O.H. When they first entered the stockmarket globally, I was going to buy shares of the Aritzia stock. Thank God, I didn't. Looking back, Aritzia use to have great customer service, and clothing. Now, it is really disappointing. The sales clerks do not acknowledge you, they are really snobbish. The only time they will help is when they see you have an article of clothing in hand, then they all want to start a room for you. In all the years that I've shopped there I have only returned 1 item, I barely step in there nowadays because their clothes are always the same. The last few years all you see are sweats, and puffers, it seems like that is all they carry plus little mini tennis skirts and crop tops. The Babaton line use to be chic and edgy, but now it is just plain old and boring. The company needs to get a new buyer, and make all the clerks attend to an Service Excellence course, majority of them walk around and act like their shit don't stink and can't be bothered to acknowledge you the customer. The company needs to overhaul their staff, the quality of their goods, and get real on their sizing (who has a size 00). When they have their annual sale, all you ever find is all the size 00 left, which indicates that no one is buying this size, if you even want to call it a size. I am referring to all the Aritzia stores, not just this one. read more

Every time I'm in Vancouver I stop by Aritzia. It's definitely one of my must-visit shops on Robson. My best friend and I love it. We allow ourselves to "go crazy" and splurge, especially if it's on the Talula brand items, considering we definitely can't get that in Hawaii. It is pricey though, and their dressing room has no mirrors in the rooms, you have to exit into the main area of the dressing room to check yourself out, which can suck. But I still love the store. I've been a loyal Aritzia customer for years. Over 60% of my clothes are from Aritzia, and I get most of my friends' presents here as well. I mostly shop online/over the phone since I am not a big fan of in store shopping. So far I have not had any problems with the store despite their hideous return policy. However, my recent experience with them was the deal breaker. I purchased a coat over the phone and confirmed that I'd have 2 weeks to return the item for store credit if I change my mind. I even sent a copy of the chat to my email because you never know if you'd be told otherwise when you make a return. When the package arrived, I opened it, tried it, didn't like it, so I brought it back to the store the next day. I was then told that there is no tag on the coat. WHY IS THERE NO TAG ON THE COAT? SURPRISE SURPRISE. THEY SENT ME A COAT WITH NO TAG ON AND NOW THEY ARE REFUSING TO LET ME RETURN IT B/C IT HAD NO TAG ON. I called customer care right away. I was told that an email will be sent to the store about the issue and It'll be up to the manager to decide if I can return it, depending on the condition of the coat. I felt good about it. After all, I only tried it on for 2 minutes, so of course the coat is in good condition. So I went to the store again the next day, and was told that no email was sent to the store, and that I never called customer care... The manager then told me that I can't return it for store credit b/c the coat is not in resalable condition anymore...She didn't even look at the coat...and she already knows it's not in resalable condition? AND ARE YOU SAYING THAT YOU GUYS SENT ME A COAT THAT WASN'T IN RESELLABLE CONDITON??!!!!! She then even lied to me and said that all sale items are final sale, so I wasn't even allowed to return it in the first place.......ARE YOU KIDDING ME?! I ALWAYS SHOP ONLINE SO I KNOW THAT I HAVE 2 WEEKS TO RETURN FOR STORE CREDIT. STOP LYING!!! Anyways, the thing to take away from this is that even if you are fully aware of their hideous return policy, and you did exactly what you are supposed to do to get a return, THEY CAN STILL SEND YOU SOMETHING WITHOUT A TAG ON AND YOU'D BE STUCK WITH IT!!!! If you are not from this area, DO NOT SHOP HERE. the trashy girls at the register came across as being friendly with all of the their questions about where we were from and what we were doing in BC and 20 hours later we got an email from our credit card company that we had been put on fraud alert. We used my credit card once while traveling...at this store. the rest of the time, we used my husband's visa and have had no trouble at the higher end stores and restaurants. this trashy, cheapy store was the only place I used my card and within hours I'm getting attempted and declined charges for places I have never ever heard of? I have been a long standing customer of Aritzia. I have never encountered such an issue with product quality and customer service in the last 20 years that I have been a buying Aritzia clothes. I bought five pairs of cozy fleeye sweat pants so as to avoid running through the product faster than normal. I was in a severe car accident in July of last year, I have only been able to wear the sweats as a fit to be comfortable while I recover at home or head to all my various therapists appointments that I have to see for treatment. I laundered the pants with extreme care, they were washed separate in laundry bags, in cold water, with colour specific retaining detergent. The pants literally began disintegrating for no reason. Holes began to appear in the middle of the leg of the pant, not along the seems, as well as in the crotch but not from by being worn down and then torn, rather the fabric literally began to pull apart from it's self for no reason. There is no reasonable explanation as to why I should be experiencing these issues on all these various products considering how I care for them and are using them. I always considered Aritzia a high quality brand, not fast cheap fashion, which it isn't, because these items in total cost me $356.00 in less than four months. Yet the quality of the items is one that would expect for a low grade fast fashion brand. The only logical explanation is that the pants are being constructed from poor quality materials that disintegrate in less than a couple of months. Fast fashion low quality priced at high brand costs. It is incredibly disappointing. Don't waste your money, there are cuter, better quality options out there. read more

Purchased something on 23rd of December 2019 at the Upper Canada Mall location. On January 2nd, 2020 found out the item gone on sale. Called the store to inquire about price adjustment. Staff who picked up the phone explained there's no price adjustment policy. The only thing that could be done was to return the item within the 10 days return policy and repurchase it again. Headed up to the store with the item in it's original condition and recite to use my option that was clearly explained by the staff and the back of the recite. While waiting in line a young lady (long black hair, probably store manager) who spotted me in line with a bag asked me if she could help me. I explained why I was there and she asked for a recite. I showed her the recite. She glanced at it and said "Holiday return or exchange was until December 31 so my item is no longer eligible for exchange or return" She continued by saying that she could give me store credit. I explained that this was a Christmas present and then new year hustle and holiday busy days keep everybody busy, how somebody can return something on new year eve? She felt it was necessary to remind me that Christmas was on 25th (implying I was stupid enough not to understand). Right there I realized the arrogance and attitude that runs within the culture of this business. And figured I don't want to have anything to do with Aritzia. I turned the recite to show her the back and reminded her that it is clearly printed there that I can get a full refund within 10 days and I want a full refund. Got my refund and left. Then I thought I should go back and ask the lady where was this Holiday Return/Exchange Policy she was referring to? There was no "Holiday Return/Exchange Policy" It is not printed on the recite or posted in store. It was just a made-up line to deter customers from returning items. Besides when around the holidays most retailers have extended return policy Aritzia cut the already short policy even shorter? This shows the extent they go to make a sale. So, there goes the $300 sale they could have made. This store is overpriced and one of many apparel stores around. They should at least have the decency to honor their own policy without giving customers the runaround maybe they keep shopping at your stores. read more

Really cute clothes! I wanted lots of things but it's a bit on the pricey side. They have 4 sections in their store and I'm not exactly sure how it's organized. The workers helped me out in the dressing room. I will spend money on clothing only in the following two ways: I) Cheap clothing, made in countries where sweatshops are prevalent, which is why the clothing is so cheap. I say sorry to some who may be offended by my words, but read "No Sweat?" by Rubi Garyfalakis if if you think sweatshops are all bad, which they're not. Or II) Clothing of the expensive variety, which most people would categorize as unnecessary, but clothing and accoutrements that last for a very, very long time. 5+ year of wear and tear. There is nothing I hate more than clothing that is poorly made, and is sold for exorbitant prices. Clothing at Aritzia categorizes as this. However I have found *some* pieces that are beautifully made, and have held up for a long time. The beaters fit great here, and are long. Some basics are super comfy as well. I was not ignored by the sales staff as others have mentioned, one was actually very helpful while the others just lingered around and watched what I was doing. :/ I wouldn't buy all my clothing from here, but you can find some pieces if you have the time to look carefully...however probably 75% of the goods are way overpriced. read more

Looking back, I should have known when stepping into the store to cold stares and attitudes from the staff (mainly in the Robson Street location). No worries, I thought, they have an online store. "Aritzia's clothing is SO beautiful!" my friends touted. So me and my credit card had a great night ordering from the website after negative experiences in the store. Days later, the package arrived! ...And the new dress I ordered (unworn) had a 2" hole in it. This millennial and my six-figure pay cheque are going elsewhere. Goodbye Aritzia. This review is for Kelly, a supervisor at Aritzia Customer Care, which is headquartered in Vancouver. What started as a frustrating experience was eventually resolved with grace thanks to her, she truly embodies quality customer care. Thank you, Kelly! Long story short, I was shopping in the San Jose location in California and due to an imperfection in the $85 blouse I wanted, the SA assisted me to ship the same top from their Seattle location free of charge. Fast forward 2-3 weeks of forgetting I ordered the top in the first place, I ended up inquiring with Customer Service why it was taking so long and they said it was an address error and advised me to call USPS to correct it. USPS told me the address that was initially entered didn't exist (my apartment # and street were reversed, plus the street name was spelled wrong) which I fixed easily on the phone, and they said it should be on its way. Fast forward ANOTHER 2 weeks of forgetting about the top again, and USPS' tracking # says it got shipped back to Seattle. Tldr 1.5 months after ordering the shirt, I had to call USPS twice and correspond/check in with the status of my order via Aritzia CS about 4 times, all because the address was put in wrong. As tiring of an experience as it was, I sincerely appreciate Kelly's attentiveness to make a frustrating situation right with overnight shipping of my shirt, and a gift card with a handwritten note. I've always loved the brand aesthetic of Aritzia since discovering the San Jose location after it opened circa 2008, and can't wait to see location expansion in the US. To remark on the in store experience, I've never experienced discrimination with the SA's. My favorite part abut Aritzia is when they start a dressing room for you, you can ask for their style advice to recommend pairings to try on! Yep, it's not cheap, but this experience has solidified my loyalty to this brand (and would love to visit the huge Vancouver location one day too). read more

Aritzia, the pulse of Vancouver twenty something female fashion. I think just about anyone can find something to suit their style and taste here. But I have to agree with many others that the shopping experience is not for everyone. Aritzia is owned by a great Vancouver family. This is one of the reasons I still love to support their business. I will say, however, that something desperately needs to be done about the staff. Some of these girls are so aloof/annoying/aggressive it really ruins the whole experience. I do know that Aritzia deals with some major shoplifting issues. This is largely attributed to the demographic they serve (young women - the biggest shoplifters of them all). This factor is why they are so excited to "start a room" for you, or to "put it at the till". If they take it away from you, you can't steal it. Unfortunately, the way they go about this is borderline harassment at times. As I have grown from a teenager into a woman in my 30s, I still shop there - just less. I think it's pretty much because of the uber skinny, high pitched voice, fake nice calling me "Hun", primarily Asian girls they hire. I just can't relate. I am a professional 30 something European woman who wears (GASP) a size 30 in jeans. I also don't fit their XXXS sizes. The thing I do love is the consistency of the brands they carry. I know where to go when I want nice jeans, beautiful sweaters and great basics. They even have some nice blouses. I do find when I shop there too much I end up looking like a cookie cutter Vancouver girl, which is not really my thing. All in all I love their house brands. I will continue to shop here, just less often. And maybe after a couple glasses of wine and with earplugs in. read more

P.S there should be a quick clean routine everyday at all of your stores. The floor is always so darn dusty and clumps of dust bunnies and dirt are everywhere! read more

Aritizia is a must-stop in Vancouver for the trendy, urban shopper. My wallet's still smarting from my purchase here (yes, just one!) and I pride myself on being a frugal shopper. However, I won't flint on quality and I paid for an amazing winter coat by Montreal-brand, Mackage. Their in-house brand, Talula Babaton, is also top-shelf quality stuff. Gooooorgeous winter coat selection here. They are worth every penny. It didn't hurt that Mackage's shop girls (ever so present and helpful) actually were the ones to recommend me the coat I eventually bought! Wow, for once, I met a personal shopper who found something that made me look goooooorgeous in it. Thanks to Aritzia I found a new fashion brand to adore. God help me when I see my credit card balance from this trip. read more
