The floor leader / manager there with the short dark hair is so rude. She's so rude to customers, cuts you off mid sentence, and then does the same with her staff. They should stop scheduling her on busy shifts (but that location is always busy) because she clearly doesn't like it be parts of her job that require speaking to people. For the first time I felt discriminated by Aritzia. Her name is Julia, she refused to serve me coffee because I don't have a shopping receipt and I was the only customer at the cafe bar at that time. So I had to go back and shop first. I waited 20min in the line with my shopping receipt, and realized no one else was asked to show receipt or they don't even have an aritzia shopping bag with them. This is Zara if you had no changing mirrors in your fitting room and the prices were slightly higher. You have sales girls who told you everything looked good, even that hideous metallic bright green Super Puff. The Super Puff is a Uniqlo puffer with Kendall Jenner in it. It's not warm for NYC winters at all come December. Very thin. It's a transition early fall piece. It is a good place for coffee as they have a cafe upstairs, hence the extra star. I don't think the prices are worth it for the lackluster quality of their clothes. They are priced at Eileen Fisher but not at their quality. The sales ladies want to sell you stuff that may not suit you later. Why did I buy and then return that metallic green puffer? Not worth it. read more

I love Aritzia and this location is definitely the best in the city! It's very big and has a great selection. The dressing rooms on the first floor can get a bit cramped but the ones on the second floor are much more spacious and relaxed. The staff I interacted with were unkind. I love my clothes from Aritzia but I will only be shopping online there due to the staff. I knew it might be bad because of the videos I've seen on TikTok, and unfortunately they were proven true. The staff at this store acted snobby, cold, and passive aggressive for no reason. I had just purchased it online 7 days earlier and I never even tried it on, I just didn't like the color in person. If someone returned well within the window, with the receipt, tags and perfect unworn condition, don't ask questions and don't be rude when you ask for a receipt and the customer just gives you what came in the package. How are we supposed to know we should have the receipt pulled up in our email? You don't have to be sweet or warm, just be respectful and treat customers with basic minimal kindness. read more

Went in today and was approached by four different employees within 10 minutes. From the moment I was approached by the first employee, I felt like they labeled me as a thief. I was not able to walk around the store to shop without feeling the presence of an employee. I was not allowed to hold my own merchandise for more than a minute without an employee coming to take it from me and "hold on to it". I felt a horrible anxiety throughout the entire process, I did not feel welcomed at all. I've worked in retail to know that this is oftentimes how they handle theft (extra customer service), but this store went overboard. It felt racially motivated and overall so humiliating. read more

Background music resonate a loud deafening pounding headache as I could not wait to exit for my health required peace of mind. Merchandise sits on two levels and are well stocked but is not cohesive for coordination of a top with a matching bottom. As soon as I rid of one store associate, the following associate comes following with questions of the same. Their store returns policy is abysmal as well. The customer service at this place is atrocious. They were extremely disappointing. I had bought a dress and then threw out the receipt because EVERYTHING IS FINAL SALE. When I was about to wear the dress, I realized that the security tag was still on - it was hidden in the dress so I hadn't realized earlier. I had offered evidence (my credit card charge) and they refused to remove the tag. They effectively implied that I was a thief when it was literally their fault in the first place for not removing the security tag when I bought it. Unreal experience moments ago. As a preface I have been a loyal Aritzia customer for upwards of ten years, dating back to living in Canada where the brand first emerged. 90% of the clothing I own is from Aritzia. I came in, in head to toe Aritzia. I purchased a sweater a month prior that said hand wash only. It became extremely deformed and I could not get it back to the original shape which was disappointing- it was a great sweater. I expected to come in, hear an apology for the inconvenience and obtain a store credit if not a refund. I have never experienced such poor customer service. I was told a store credit was out of question and I could only purchase something of equal or higher value in the store at this exact moment. How is this different than a store credit other than just being significantly more inconvenient? I explained I had actually just put in a big order the day prior, online, and did not want to spend more in this moment. A girl at the front desk, Angel, went out of her way to make things more difficult and be more unhelpful. I asked to speak to the manager, the group chatted about what was going on 20 feet away from me- is it really that difficult to chat with a customer directly who's upset about a product? I was told again a store credit was not an option. I asked to speak with the manager again, she came in, saw the sweater, and said she would make a one time exception- as if I was at fault and requesting a huge favor. Better yet I was told it should really be an exchange. WHY WOULD I WANT THE SAME DEFECTIVE SWEATER? The whole experience culminated with the employee on cash (Angel) telling me once again this was a one time exception and that my file would be marked with this incident for the future. It's so great to feel like someone who has just had something awful added to their criminal record, walking out of a clothing boutique. Disgusting. read more

Lovely customer service!!! I was in a rush to get in and out of the store because of my parking and Amanda was soooo sweet and so quick to help. I feel like every time I've gone to other Aritzia locations, a lot of the associates are very stand offish and a little bit judgmental but not at SoHo - these beautiful ladies were full of compliments and smiles! Cannt believe I m writing this 1 star review for Aritzia. Over years, I have been a loyal and huge fan of it since the soho flagship shop opened. Never encounter any issues with their customer service when I made purchases, always friendly and warm smiles. However, the employee/ manager there just completely disappointed me today, incredibly unprofessional and unacceptable. I purchased a Parker from Aritzia.com since I wasn't able to make it to store. Received a worn and used Parker when unbox the shipment. Cannt express how disappointed I was. Called customer service and no one get back to me as promised. Decided to stop by to a store and see what I can do next. since I always accommodated with such great services from in store employee, expected to have a pleasant experience. 1. Went in to store explained the situation, the manager on duty heard I ordered from online, she immediate reaction to it was: "since u ordered online, nothing we can help, you have to contact them. We are different entities. U have to go through them." And repeated the same thing over and over throughout our conversation. She did not even willing to look into the Parker, didn't offer to solve the issue until I kept repeat my frustrations, and eventually get pissed. （look, my question here is retail store and online store, aren't they both belong to Aritzia? And when u Cannt offer help at the first place, why have to wait until the point your cus is upset?) 2. She asked me to bring the Parker back the next day and talk to the manager on duty that time, & go from there. yet, when I ask for the name of the person I need to speak to tomorrow, she said she doesn't know who gonna be the manager for tomorrow . Are u serious now? How big is your store? Do u have over 50 employees in the location to manage? And how many manage you have? Ok fine u have million reasons to not know. But can't u take a step forwards to reach out? I works for customer services industry myself, I believe what makes difference is the services that we provided to clients. Love, love, love this franchise. It's one of the few clothing stores that sells regular pieces of clothing that are plain and classic. They have a wide range of sizes that actually measure up to what they say unlike so many others where a small actually means a medium. Another thing I love about this place is the stellar and outstanding customer service. They treat you like the money you spend is appreciated, and trust, you will spend. I come back the next day not even 12 hours later and my items are GONE, MISSING, and cannot be found. Never come to this store if you're expecting to purchase items you have on hold. I love Aritzia's clothing, but not a fan of a) their return policy or b) being treated like a criminal when I return something. As other reviewers have noted, they have one of the worst return policies in the industry. Knowing this, I made it a priority to get to the store to return a shirt I had purchased as soon as I returned from the work trip on which I had purchased it. I arrived at this location to return the shirt only 3 days after purchasing it, and was looked at strangely, asked if I had worn it, and scolded for taking the tag off. Note that both tag and receipt were in hand. They have my email/phone number in the system, so they know how often I shop there. They treat you like you're a member of an insider club when you buy something, but their "it's a woman's prerogative to change her mind" slogan is nowhere near reflected in their attitudes when returning. read more

A pretty good location. Staffs are all pretty friendly at least the security guard, cashier, and the lady who helped me in the fitting room are all pretty nice. Pretty convenient with the subway at walking distance but it's usually crowded inside the store and even outside on the street. Two floors and quite a few items but sometimes they don't carry everything. The fitting rooms are pretty clean and the racks are all pretty organized too. They don't always have each sizes but it's usually alright. Decent quality and decent price range. The most recent purchase was a top and skirt, super comfortable and it was around $60 for both so that was honestly a pretty reasonable price. So far I have always been happy with my purchases every time I visit Aritzia. read more

I went in early afternoon today and had the best experience. I actually wanted to tell the manager in person but I had to jet. I was greeted in a genuine and friendly manner upon entering and was immediately excited about the full selection of Babaton brand items near the door. A few minutes later I was greeted by Paris near the new denim area. Paris suggested a pair of beautiful high waisted bells for me from the new line. She continued to assist me in adding items to my dressing room and was just so pleasant and energetic. Overall, I could see that each staff member was upbeat and on task during my entire visit. I was greeted by another gal in the fitting room (I am so mortified I can't recall her name. She was wearing a super cute all white outfit and was just as wonderful as Paris. I could tell the two of them worked well as a team.) I chatted with both associates about how I was shopping in celebration of quitting my terrible job and taking some time off before starting a new one. I ended up buying the jeans - they're the best- and a tee shirt. The woman at the register was having some technical difficulties but was positive and communicative throughout. I felt for her too, because I know what it's like to be at the mercy of slow software. I was a retail manager in a high volume store for nearly 10 years. When I go shopping, I notice *everything*! I couldn't have been happier with how the staff at this Aritzia location treated me. It was also my first time in. I love it when the culture of the work environment and the knowledge and passion for the product shines through. It's so easy to get burnt out and jaded in retail. Aritzia is my favorite store at the current moment. I remember my first Aritzia purchase - it was before the store had even opened and it was just a tiny showroom on the 2nd floor of the building. I ventured in on curiosity and left with a batwing sweater that my boyfriend likes to call my "Emolga" sweater - for all my fellow Pokemon fans. That sweater has been with me for almost two years now and still fits and feels amazing. I love Artizia because it doesn't look like everything else in Soho. The thing that I don't like about shopping too much at H&M or Forever 21 is that everyone has it. I actually see outfits I have from Forever on other girls all the time. But with Artizia, I feel that the clothing styles are a bit more different than its Soho counterparts. I feel more original when I wear a piece from Artizia. People complain about the sales people but I just ignore them. I don't take their advice so I don't even bother paying attention to their "compliments". I try what I like and if it looks good, I buy it. End of story. read more

The sales people were incredibly attentive and helpful! They gave really kind and useful comments on items people were trying on. A lady was quick to help me find my size in the items I wanted. She also helped me start a room. They encouraged me to visit the sale section, which was the best I have ever been to. It was super clean and organized, everything arranged by color. As always, the items were super high quality. I managed to get a wool blazer-coat for $90 instead of the original $250. My mother was super happy because their complimentary coffee bar was a great place to relax. The coffee isn't just a paper cup of black coffee with some little plastic containers of processed vanilla creamer- it's better than the stuff at Starbucks. If you aren't super comfortable trying on items in front of others, be aware that the dressing rooms don't have mirrors. You step out into this space with mirrors where other people are checking out the items too. And if there isn't a sale, prices can be steep. If you're looking for high quality items and love fashion, this is the place for you. Their selection is super good. The experience with the sales people was one of the best I have experienced! They have 3 big, comfy sofas that you can literally melt into them and swipe your phones while waiting for your girls to get done their things. Some stores don't have this treat right like Zara you know what I mean. And no one is looking or judging us, looks like they put sofa there because they mean it. Come and sit down! WOW. I've been to Aritzia stores in many cities but this location takes the cake! To begin, the store is massive. There are two floors filled with color-coded sections of Aritzia clothing. It's a straight up dream. In addition to the large amount of inventory, the service at this store is impeccable!
