Cynthia and Amanda were absolutely incredible to work with, and we can't recommend them highly enough. From the start, they knew our venue (Rengstorff House) inside and out, which made planning and walkthroughs smooth and stress-free. They helped us put together a detailed timeline, down to the minute, for our ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception, and they guided us through the rehearsal with confidence, making sure everyone knew their role. They put together a useful timeline document and had all our vendor information for coordinating on the big day. On the day itself, they handled everything with all of our vendors, getting them to the right place and making sure they had everything they needed. Cynthia and Amanda managed setup and placed the decorations we ordered, and kept everything moving without us ever feeling rushed. When a last-minute hiccup came up with ice (at first we didn't have enough ice for our drinks and cooling needs), they handled it quickly and quietly so we never had to stress - we didn't even know there was a hiccup until it was all over. Right before the ceremony they took a moment to reassure us, and helped move us around through the venue so we wouldn't see each other before our first look. During the reception, they kept everything going according to schedule, and several vendors and guests even commented to us that it was one of the best run weddings they've been at. 10/10!

From the planning process all the way through the wedding day, Jennifer and Priscilla were so helpful, organized, and accommodating. My wife and I can definitely be a little indecisive at times, and they were so patient with us every step of the way. They made decision-making feel easy and helped guide us through everything with such professionalism and kindness. On the wedding day, they made everything run perfectly and completely stress-free. We were able to fully enjoy the day knowing they had everything under control. We worked with Amazae from the moment we knew we wanted to get married (before we got engaged,…read moretechnically. Ha). Both of us are extremely busy re: our jobs and knew that we wouldn't be able to dedicate enough time to truly planning an event of this scale. If you're on the fence, go with Amazae. My husband, before we hired Amazae, was on the fence of whether or not we needed planning services. I told him that if we did not hire someone that there would be no wedding. By the time we had finished our venue search, he knew that I was totally right re: the amount of help you get by leveraging someone else's expertise. You do this once (hopefully) in your life. Amazae does this all the time. Amazae knew all the ins and outs of every venue that we could possibly think of in the Bay Area, Carmel, and Napa. They were able to tell us who was beer and wine only, who had a 10pm end time because of noise ordinances, and who required you to use certain caterers that were $x per head. This will save you SO much time and save you visits to random places that don't meet your requirements. Vendor sourcing - they are super good at this re: figuring out (or making you figure out what you like) who matches your style for every vendor, then finding one that fits in your budget. Most importantly, they will make sure everyone shows up (join any wedding FB group and read some horror stories). They will help you with all of the contracting and the collection of COIs, etc. Again, this would have been IMPOSSIBLE for myself and my now husband. We literally do not have the hours in the day to do this. This team is on top of everything - they will chase you down if they need to for answers for pieces of your event. They can make anything happen - from the weirdest requests to the most mundane. They are so professional, and they really make your wedding super personal. Amazae designed and executed a beautiful event from beginning to end that felt so authentic to us. Day of, they were there to take care of everything, and it was truly a flawless day. We could not asked for a better planner re: Crystal, Kaila, and the rest of the team. We put full trust in them re: the design of this event and the day of. Example: I honestly did not know what florals were going to be there, but they were so stunning. The strength of the Amazae team is in their ability to bring you and your personality into an event that is mostly structured a certain way. They also make your day as stress-free as possible. I cannot say enough positive things about this team and their ability to make your wedding great. If you're down to hand things off to someone else, I would say hand it off to them. It will be better than what you could have come up with yourself.

Planning a wedding during a pandemic is hard, even a micro-wedding. You don't want to be cake…read moretasting or menu tasting, so you rely on experts. That's why we decided to hire an event planner for our daughter's wedding in January 2021. Even though it was a small backyard wedding, we wanted it to be memorable and elegant. We interviewed 3 different event planners, and got 3 rough quotes, all around the same ballpark. Amazae's quote, however, was the most detailed, breaking down a high & low range for each item (food, florals, rentals, photography, etc.) It was an easy choice to contract with them. Crystal came onsite for our first meeting, and I really didn't have a lot for her to go on. My daughter isn't the Pinterest type, so I just told Crystal the wedding colors and showed her pictures of the wedding gown and bridesmaid gowns. The rest of the planning was all done via zoom, emails, and a few phone calls. We worked mostly with Caitlin, who is an amazing planner. Each step along the way, she gave us several options to choose from. For example, she provided a list of 4 photographers, their quote for the day, their profile, their gallery, etc. Once all of our choices were made, she put together a design deck that gave us a preview of the entire wedding. It was more gorgeous than I envisioned. On the day of the wedding, Lisa came out to set everything up. She even picked up the florals and wedding cake to save us the delivery fees. It was a little hectic when I met her, and I probably spent 5 minutes with her showing her where everything was before we left for the church ceremony. And when we came back, she was driving off, leaving behind a magical transformation of yard. Everyone was stunned. The catering crew then took over and prepared a "Top Chef" level meal. And when they left, my kitchen was as clean as when they arrived. My husband commented, "Whatever we paid for this wedding, it was worth every penny." Haha. True. She worked with us tirelessly, giving us an incredible amount of personal attention to ensure not only that we were comfortable with our decor and timelines, but that both of our families were as well. She coordinated multiple site visits to make sure the venues, vendors, and our families were all aligned. There wasn't a single concern, big or small, that we brought to her that she didn't help us navigate with calmness and reassurance. When it came to decor, we came to her with countless ideas that changed constantly, and R&R helped us organize everything into a cohesive and realistic vision we were genuinely excited about. Raman suggested themes and ideas we never would have thought of on our own and was always transparent about what was and wasn't possible. In the end, the team exceeded our expectations across all of our events. The team also helped with custom items like signage and photos, picking everything up earlier in the week while setting up our home decor so we didn't have to think about a thing. Having R&R as both our decorator and planner made the entire experience feel seamless and stress-free. We couldn't be happier with how everything turned out. Raman, Raveen, and the entire R&R team made our wedding experience beautiful, smooth, and unforgettable.

They are a preferred vendor there which makes things simple. They were able to build and tear down and take things down themselves and on time. Raman is great to work with and they did an excellent job. I would highly recommend them for any rental needs for weddings!

We opted for the…read moremonth before and day-of package but I felt like Angelique was helping me the whole time throughout our wedding planning. She set up a meeting early and sent us documents that would help us along the way. She would check in and would open herself up to us if needed. Early on I had mentioned to Angelique that I was planning on doing my own florals to help with my budget and she encouraged me and even sent me recommendations on how I could execute my own wedding florals. I ended up going with the floral wholesale shop she recommended and was so happy with my decision. She also gave us recommendations of other wedding vendors. We ended up going with a recommended photographer as well who was very kind to work with and returned photos promptly. Nikki, a Honey and Twine assistant, went with me to my second rental appointment and was so helpful. Nikki had great insight and was a great advocate to have by my side during the appointment. Honey and Twine sent documents, check lists and timelines that helped me the months leading to the wedding. Angelique and Nikki met with me at my venue (which was my brother's house) and had an initial walk-through. Nikki came a second time as well. We felt they knew the space so well and we're confident that everything would fit into place on the day of. They came to the rehearsal and led it well and let us enjoy time with our family. On the wedding day, Honey and Twine truly shined. There was a large structure to cover that ended up being the background of the head table. It looked so great. All the tables looked perfect and they set up the bar and entrance table so perfectly. Just as every wedding has, there was a small hiccup with our rental restrooms where one of the stalls was unusable and I didn't even know about the problem until after the wedding because they did not want to worry the bride. There were 3 Honey and Twine associates at the wedding that made everything look beautiful, run seamlessly and on schedule. We could not be more grateful for Honey & Twine!

When we started planning our wedding in January 2017, my fiancé and I had absolutely no idea what we were doing, or what we wanted our wedding to look like, and it was so wonderful to have Lexi and Brenda there helping us with every detail. They were knowledgable, patient, and most importantly, totally organized and on top of every detail. They also made sure every choice we made kept us within our budget, and gave some great recommendations for vendors. They always got back to us quickly, and knew the answer to every wedding-related question we asked them, big or small. After 10 months of planning with them, four days before the wedding date we had to move the entire wedding after the fires up in wine country threatened our original wedding venue. Lexi and Brenda were never anything but completely competent and professional during this whole process (I was a disaster). They found a new venue in San Francisco with a similar feeling to our original venue and of a similar cost, and dealt with every single vendor so they all moved to our new location. We had 130 guests coming, a third of whom had flown in from Europe, and I honestly don't know what we would have done without Lexi and Brenda. The actual wedding day itself was executed perfectly. With Brenda there running everything, I didn't have a single thing to worry about, and could just enjoy the entire day and night with all my friends and family (and new husband!). Hiring a planner was the first budgetary choice we made for our wedding, and no question it was the best one we made. When things went wrong, Honey + Twine were there to rescue our wedding day, and we won't forget what an amazing job they did!
