    $2.99 !!!
    Ana S.

The food from the cafeteria is excellent and fresh , big portions and very cheap , a complete meal , example : pork , beans , rice , Maduros $5.99 , you can't find that price in Miami any longer . Valentini ice cream $2.99 special . Cafe con leche (big) and a huge Cuban toast $2.99 !!!!! Meat department I don't like it but produce selection is sooooo good , Mamey for instance is 1.99 lb , veggies are cheaper here than every other market. Go early in the morning when isn't crowed.

The produce section is the Garden of Eden. Arguably, it is the best part of this supermarket. The fruits & veggies are extensive, fresh and inexpensive. Conventional fruits and veggies, not organic, are in stock. The deli has a considerable selection. The special sale prices are really good for different groceries. The meat department has some great wholesale deals. The quality is in the mid-range category but the prices are low. The cafeteria is delicious and hearty. This supermarket is Hispanic so it's easier suited for non-English speakers and the products are oriented for the Latin community. The ambiance is typical of Hispanic settings - vibrant, warm-hearted and gregarious. This is Hialeah.

Even though I enter my phone number all the time my app shows nothing! Next I'll address the staff. The lady few visits the service had been horrible specifically at the registers. They don't say hello or thank you or bye. They talk amongst themselves when checking out. Yesterday afternoon I stopping for a few things and asked a manager about a sale item not in stock. I told her the shelf was empty. She had us walk over and said "yes, there's no more" Really?? We asked if she could check the back and when she thought they may get more. Her lack of wanting help was so obvious. The lady stocking wine was enthralled in a phone conversation on her cell phone. It's no wonder this store is empty most of the times I go. There are certain items I like to get there and honestly the staff behind the counters is great.

They have lots more variety and items to choose from. I was here to pick up some fill in items. I bought a lot of fresh fruits and vegetables. They have a really nice variety of dressings. The best part is the bakery. They have a huge selection. I love the freshness and the flavor. The only bad thing about this store is the parking. It is dreadful. It is very hectic and it is often hard to find a space. The shopping center is very busy and with this supermarket, it is craziness. I will still stop here when I am in the area.

And they go out of their way and above and beyond to help I've been there three times so far I have had a great experience. I feel safe and I enjoy the specials . The cashiers are excellent they remember you and they're fast , the lady in the seafood department is so professional and kind. She knows a lot and shared a coffee with me , the butcher is great and helpful , the ladies at the Deli are fast and keep the deli clean the guys stock the shelves know where everything is and are helpful and friendly ,the shopping cart guys and the bag boys are so kind and helpful. The manager is professional The male and female managers are good team leaders because their staff is happy friendly, which is a reflection on the Manager .I wish I could remember the names of everyone that helped me, but Fatima went above and beyond to make me comfortable while I waited for my car to come pick me up. Another time ,A beautiful young black lady maybe she was a manager helped me during the first storm of the season. I believe it was June 1 it was thunderstorm, when one of my grocery bags ,the one with the fresh shrimp and spinach, disappeared somewhere between paying for it and going outside looking waiting for my ride , there was a lot of customers huddled up outside in front of the door due to the storm. When I got in the car, I realized I was missing a grocery bag , the one with the main course of that evening's dinner ,lol so I I asked my RIDE to turn around. We weren't more than a block away, and I went back in the store with the receipt . This very beautiful young black lady must've been a manager too, patiently listened to me because I was distressed and helped calm me down. She went above and beyond to rectify the situation and return to me what was missing. I am very grateful to that Queen . Another time when I was the last customer and it was night time, I was waiting for my ride , a polite young man, that was pushing in the shopping carts insisted on staying with me so I wouldn't be alone outside and then helped me load my groceries into the Lyft ride. So much passion!  He made the best sandwich ever and spent 20 minutes making my sandwiches with so much love!  He walked over to the fresh produce section to pick out fresh avocados for our sandwiches.  He also got the freshest bread ever.  All of the veggie toppings were bursting with flavor and didn't taste like plastic or air.  They were just so dang flavorful!  When I told him that I thought this sandwich was fantastic, he responded with, "that is just the Publix standard."  He was probably thinking, calm down, lady!   I was so happy that my friend Kinal suggested this place - I will miss it soooo much in California.  Bummed we don't have Publix there!  But I am going to max out on these while I'm still here!

I like that the TJ stores are organized similarly so that I can find things faster. The employees are very welcoming here with sincere smiles. The ambiance is friendly with good service. A special thank you to Pert at the cashier stand for her very nice and helpful manner. I loved her smile and great attitude. She was very helpful with our 2 full carts of groceries and asked Eden to help us up to the garage and lift the many bags into our trunk. She was very helpful. Kudos to Pert and Eden, who make a great team at TJ's! For your convenience, TJ's is attached to a parking garage and it is free for an hour and a half. An elevator takes you down stairs to TJ's to their entrance lobby where the carts are. You take the same elevator back up to your vehicle. They make it easy for all of us.

A very reliable choice if you're short on time. Cuban Breakfast: A really hearty way to start the day. I love the big blocks of crisped squeaky cheese. The hot dog like sausages were fun too. The plantains and refried black beans made it feel especially Cuban. And then nice eggs, because breakfast. Beef Meal: It felt ropa vieja adjacent with the slow cooked shredded beef and peppers and onions. Though it wasn't as bright without the different types of peppers. I got mine with moros, black beans and rice mixed together. The lady also gave me some gravy, from the beef stew, on top of the rice. I chose a side of macaroni salad. It was such a delicious lunch and (leftover) dinner! The beef itself was packed with flavor and so tender. Beef Stew: More like pot roast than the other stringy beef meal. Large chunks of beef that were dense and delicious! It came with this yellow rice that had pork, shrimp and veggies. Kinda like stir fried rice, but I don't think it was stir fried. Delicious though! And, of course, got the yummy macaroni salad again.
