My Receipt wow
Tabatha B.

I come to this unit very often. I had the most horrifying experience today.I was with my daughter and use the self checkout . It was four customers checking out . A Publix employee standing there in the middle . it was a gentleman before me which had over 30 items or more. We had 10 . My daughter started and didn't see the hand scanner to scan the 24 case of water before we can finish she ran over saying did you pay for the water. My daughter looked at me and said we not finished I told the employee were not done yet. I don't like to feel this way and I didn't realize what was happening into she didn't say anything to the guy with a whole shopping chart. Being racially profiled in front of my child. This system should make thing's smooth but really is it? I will never come back here again.

Back when I lived in Hialeah around 3 years ago, this was the Publix nearest my house and one of the two Publix I most frequented (although I preferred the Publix Sabor on E 2nd Ave). I had been going to this Publix location for many years. Sometimes I had good experiences, sometimes bad. One thing is that this is a smaller Publix, so it doesn't have the variety of much larger Publix especial when compared to Sabor. I found myself in here because I was in the area and needed to buy flowers and water as I was going to the cemetery in which I have family members buried in. I wanted to leave flowers at their graves. I quickly got the necessary items and left.

Ok so I shop regularly at Publix and it is not always a pleasure but it's decent enough l NOT TODAY this Publix is terrible the wait time is horrendous they have two regular cashiers in the middle of the rush and the deli was incredibly slow the staff is ok not overly friendly or pleasant but just ok. Overall if I don't have to come back I won't at least not to this one.

Every time I come to this publix I always have an issue with expiration dates. I went to buy some yogurt yesterday and couldn't buy any due to them being all expired. All these yogurts (picture attached) were expired over a week. I ended up not being able to buy any because they were all expired. We told an employee and they didn't even apologize. ALWAYS check the dates when buying food from here, this is not the first incident.

I live close so I go for convenience, yet they have the worst customer service possible... most of their employees esp cashiers are rude.

Crappy Publix. Absolutly one of the worst. Limited bodies behind the deli counter and check out.

Publix is probably the best supermarket that exists. Floridians dont know how lucky they are..

Let me tell you, it was hard to get me out. First of all, I love the owner! She's the coolest lady with a wickedly intuitive insight for spotting out exactly what you need. The aisles are packed with tons of herbal remedies for literally any ailment your body can throw at you. Vegan? They got you. Vegetarian? There's an aisle for that. Overprotective mom who passed her Vicks VapoRub stage? Say no more. Dude, they even have avocado honey and some groovy migraine drops for when the Palmetto Expressway fusses with your chakras. Herbs, spices, tinctures, and supplements galore is what you'll find on your visit here. I'm surprised more people aren't flocking here like wild geese. Hipsters, come get your mangosteen on over here because this is where the wild things are. Let's put it this way, I walked out of here with a higher awareness of the whole idea that my body is a machine, and that sometimes, that machine cannot solely survive from croquetas alone. Wild, but true. I've never seen artichoke tea but on my next trip here, I'm grabbing a box of it...because why not? Miami Lakes has character and it's found throughout Hale's Health Food so throw yourself Herbalife away and wear your best leggings because this one is a gem worth celebrating.
