This store is not the most modern nor the cleanest I have been to, but it offers great prices and great selection of items. I love this Walmart...Walmart is Walmart is Walmart .no frills, but cheap cheap cheap..what's not to like??? I get my gas here as super cheap and on my way to work, and then I pop into the store to get plenty of my regular staples here on a week to week basis. Always plenty of parking, always plenty of carts. Aisle are never blocked from stockers and it runs smoothly. I also always use the self serve to pay, and there is never a huge wait. Fruit n veg is nearly always fresh and decent. I LOVE their pastries...so cheap at 58 cents (I think) a piece...especially the coconut ones, And my daughter craves their guava and cheese ones. NOTE though, they run out at the end of the day, so hit in the am! They also sell Wrangler and Levi clothes for men on a regular basis for 19.99 a piece for a pair of jeans. If you love a bargain and love saving money...then go here! Also to be noted I have NEVER had an issue on returns. read more

Ugh. I'm not a fan. This is the Walmart I try to avoid at all costs. This location is always full of people. Parking is a war zone. Getting in and out is a near impossibility. Apparently though from the last time I went years ago, they installed some self check-out lines, so there is some hope. That said, this location is 24/7 and offers a lot of amenities. Whenever I come to this Walmart I always have to park my car really far away from all the other vehicles because people throw shopping carts at your vehicle while your not around, especially if you have a newer vehicle. I have had my vehicle damaged twice at this same Walmart, the first time I had only been inside the store for like 30 minutes and someone left some deep scratches on the two drivers side doors on my car that were pretty deep (I'm not sure if it was a shopping cart or if someone keyed my vehicle but the scratches need body shop work to get repaired because they wouldnt rub off). The second time that my vehicle was damaged I had gone inside to buy groceries and the car that was parked next to me was gone when I came out but they threw their shopping cart against the fender of my car after putting their groceries in their vehicle so they scratched up the paint on my car with a shopping cart. I had no choice but to park next to another vehicle because the parking lot was full. Now what I do to avoid my car getting damaged at this Walmart is that I park all the way in the last parking spot away from everyone else at least that way if someone wants to be a jerk and come scratch my car they have to inconvenience themselves by walking all the way to the last parking space in the parking lot. read more

This Super Wal-Mart is HUGE, the shelves are normally always well-stocked, they have a great selection as far as Wal-Marts go, and not only is it a full service Wal-Mart, but also a full grocery store with bakery that would easily put some Publix locations to shame. In addition to those things, this store also has a vision center, a pharmacy, portrait studio and photo center, tire and lube garage, 1 hour photo, gas station, hair salon and a Sergio's restaurant. If I'm not mistaken they also have a bank on the premises as well. This Super Wal-Mart truly offers one stop shopping. The only issue I have is that this place gets absolutely packed, so finding parking and getting through the checkout lines can be a real problem, especially at busy times. This is also not the location to come to when you're looking to return or exchange items, as those lines can be pretty impossible as well. read more

Walmart is one of those places that requires planning or an emergency or a gift card to come to this place. Yes, the legend about the long, understaffed register lines is true. I'm experiencing it right now! I came here to buy a couple of cargo shorts for my construction site visits and had to check the sizes since the plastic tag on top of the hanger doesn't always correspond with the actual size on the pant. Let's not even go into store cleanliness. There was "something" disgusting on the floor which I brought to an employee's attention. Instead of cleaning it up, he just kicked it under a shelf. I was in the area and stopped by this Walmart to buy some things I needed food/essentials. I used to go to this Walmart quite frequently over a year ago before I moved to the Homestead area. This Walmart was never great but it certainly has changed some for the better mostly for the worse. The store has been redecorated and it looks much nicer than it did a year ago. Unfortunately I couldn't find almost anything I was looking for and had to leave empty handed. I could not find any of the following 1) deviled ham 2) niagara spray starch 3) Mahatma Parboiled Rice 4) my cats brand/type of cat food after seeing item after item not available or the part of the shelf they are supposed to be in empty I just left my car and walked out. read more

A good big location with lots of selection but still missing key items like Tylenol on the shelf. There is a Cuban restaurant in here which is cool, I'll have to try that out one day. This might be one of the poorer quality Wal-Marts in the area. I usually go to the Walmart on Red Road or in Pembroke Pines, but I decided to go to this one in Hialeah Gardens today. I went on Sunday around 8:00am. I've never seen a store that was completely out of eggs before, even during the start of the pandemic in 2020. The entire refrigerated case, about 25 feet long, for the eggs was completely empty. They were also very low on milk and other dairy products. They also had a lesser amount of pool supplies than other Walmarts and didn't have any chlorine. This will probably be my last visit to this location. read more

Wow... yes, you heard me. WOW. So this place bent my mind in ways I didn't know it could be. Really, I lie not. We ended up here the other day. Why? I don't know what took us over and in our minds Hialeah was a good idea, I mean, we have a WalMart a mile away from our house (aka. Hellmart the busiest in the world).. I guess that was it. We knew ours would be a mess so why not try another mess right? Venturing into unknown territory, we headed out on a Saturday night.. Oh yes, SATURDAY NIGHT, crazy... pulling into the parking lot we noticed how huge it was. NICE! First pro. I figured it would turn into a nightmare when we walked in. But no, we wandered into the vastness which is this Supercenter greeted by plentiful yet not annoying lighting inviting us to partake in the experience which is this glorious place. Seriously, its clean (another pro), vast (another pro) and has anything you can imagine under the sun. WOWza! The aisles are so vast that you can actually walk through them with a cart, and there can be other shoppers in the vicinity without feeling that you are all in each others business! Love it. I was so pleasantly surprised I was ready to skip down the aisles singing and skipping!! The only con, the lines are ridiculous. Seriously bad, but I guess nothing can be perfect. And yes, when we walked out a girl said in perfect English "Would you like to donate blood"... unexpected since anywhere else I wander in Miami with my blue eyes and blond hair, usually I get addressed in Spanish and attitude if I don't respond in such. Something truly unique also are the individuals that frequent this place, from the dude in the Ed Hardy bling tee and sunglasses (at night), to the truly interesting individual in a lace tunic (its a man mind you) with a faux snakeskin scalloped leather panel in the front. TWICE I went to this store and TWICE I've had the same experience. NO customer service what so ever. Because I do not look hispanic, because I do not look as though I speak spanish, I am not even afforded a Hello or acknowledgement. The first visit: When I went to check out, I went to an open lane, where i was waved away and told in the most broken english that I needed to go to the next register, even though I had already put my things down.. And the cashier walked off. A few minutes later, while I was in another line, the same cashier waved me back over, no apology, nothing, and motioned aggressively for me to come back over to her. As she rang me up, there was No eye contact, nothing, and my total was given to me in Spanish. When I looked at her, she said it again, so I asked "Do you mean $12.47?" she answered immediately in clear English. "Yes, $12.47." So she did speak English, but didn't want to. I handed her the cash, and when I got my change back, I thanked her. The 2nd visit: I walked up as the cashier was ringing out one of the fellow workers, they were carrying on an animated conversation. They were done, my stuff was on the belt but the conversation continued, finally she picked up my things and started to ring them up, but still, no greeting, no eye contact, and still talked to her friend. When that one walked away, another walked up and she started talking to her, and I, the customer she had RIGHT THAT MOMENT, was ignored. When it was time to pay, she just put her hand out, Nothing was told. I asked for my total, she finally gave it to me with such a begruging voice that she had to talk to me. I like to give credit when credit is due. I came in today for an oil change and was treated very professionally. The associates were very helpful. A shout out to Roberto from the Auto Tire and Service who went above and beyond the call of duty by waiting for me to get there, changing the oil efficiently and offering the gift of his smile. On the other hand, this Walmart is huge and not organized at all. The public restrooms are unsanitary and the floor is covered with tissues. Usually the lines are long so please bring extra patience with you. Even in the middle of the night the store feels crowded because the employees block most of the isles with boxes when they restock the shelves. read more

First of all it is always crowded no matter what time you go. Even in the middle of the night it can feel crowded because of the staff restocking every other isle. At times it can feel like they only have two check out counters open. My experience with their employees has been mixed. Some are very helpful and go out of the way to help you find what you need. Others know where nothing is and will often just leave it like than rather than finding a solution to the issue at hand. This place isn't all bad though. It is filled with a decent variety of products and when they aren't restocking items isles tend to be clean. Sergio's cafe by the entrance is good for a quick bite. There are also other things around that I don't really use like a bank, pharmacy and I think by one of the entrances there is place to get haircuts. This Walmart is open 24 hours so if you ever find yourself in the middle of the night needing something that isn't in a CVS or Walgreens then this is your best bet. read more

I've always loved Walmart. I think they have good quality stuff for a good price. I'm not a fan of heading into Winn Dixie and paying full price for items that I can get here. (Publix is an exception because they usually have good deals). Anyway, I've been to a fair share of Walmart Supercenters across many states, and I have to say, that for the amount of people that run through this store, it's pretty decent. I usually come here to stock up on a little bit of everything - food, cleaning supplies, personal care items, etc., and for the most part, they usually always have what I need. There are tons of staff on the floor - cleaning up and restocking - so that's a plus. Most of them do only speak Spanish, but it isn't that big of a deal for me. I can understand why that it frustrating to some people, but it's Miami. For the most part, the staff has been able to help me find stuff, but there has also been a couple of times where 1-2 staff members weren't sure of an items location. Parking is usually easy to find for me, but you might have to park a little farther away than you might like. I've been here at different times of the day and different days of the week, and it seems to always be packed with people. While there are usually many registers open, the lines do have a tendency of getting long, but when you have a high volume of people, that is to be expected. I visited this wal mart 7/2008 I came here to buy supplies for my cruise since I had an extra day in the Miami area. I came here and this wal mart is just like any other wal mart. It was easy to navigate in here compare to my wal marts here in CA. I gave it 4 stars instead of 3 because they have Drakes Cakes here which are just amazing then again you can find these in any east coast wal mart. Lets move past the fact that as a english speaker you'll have to look far and wide to find some to speak with in this Hialeah location. BUT, the level of rude service has to be the worst of any location i've ever been too. The LATEST instance of this was this past Friday when my sick girlfriend when to get some Advil cold and sinus medication. She was treated very rudly buy the incompident clerk at the counter, whom couldn't even read her Drivers License. (A person that handles peoples medication that can't read... major red flag Wal-Mart). But upset her to the point she took her ID back and walked out. After meeting back up with me at the car, I went in (because she needed the meds) and went to the counter. Got the same lady name Ivonne. Who took about 5 minutes to check my ID. Asked for a phone number for some unknown reason. When I asked why she needed all this personal info for a over the counter med, she didn't have a answer. When I asked for a sup due to her rude service and incompidence, she WALKED AWAY FROM ME! I had to walk around the store to find a sup to complain too. BBB complaint to be filed today.
