Let's start off with the biggest negative on this store both for employees and clients they don't have ac they claim it's broken. The other part is the register is a bit out of date due to everything having to be entered manually. They would demand employees to get into a 10 feet ladder which mixed with no ac most have almost fainted. The employees are nice but some don't like to be asked for help. I have been to several Hobby Lobby and they never fail, this one is convenient because is located in a stand alone building withing the parking space of Westland Mall (closest to Macys), so you can do your shopping and head over walking if you want to Hobby Lobby. If you prefer to drive there, there is plenty of parking, is always organized and they have their clearance sections a (a lot of clearance) all over the store. I love Hobby Lobby. read more

If you have a craft or hobby and need supplies, this is your spot. If you can't find your item here, it doesn't exist. If you are a true crafty, it's easy to get lost in your wildest imagination of the awesome things you can create. Because of the store's size, I found myself wandering around, trying to find the nibs for my calligraphy pen. After finding an employee who spoke English, she directed me to the art department. There I found all of the ink, paper, pens, nibs I could ever need. Overall pack your patience when you come. This isn't the place to run in and out. Prepare to browse and bring lots of money. By far my favorite Hobby Lobby location!!!! Not that I know another location aside from the Davie location. However even though Davie is closer for me, I would drive to the Hialeah location any day!!! This location is quite big and have ample parking. AND I don't have to have road rage to get out of the parking lot. Go figure. Each time I have come here, the store is always clean and the few employees that I have encountered are usually nice. I usually don't see many of them but I rarely need assistance so this doesn't bother me. I actually walked the whole store recently and they offer a lot of things that I didn't know that they offered. And as you can imagine, yes that made my bill more than attended once I got to the checkout counter. There is no question that I will be returning. read more

This was the 1st I've ever been to a Hobby Lobby and I must say I was pretty impressed. I visited the Hialeah store and when I asked for the some assistance the lady spoke English. That's right! I said someone in Hialeah actually spoke English! I was shocked! But wait I asked someone else for something else and they spoke English too! SNAP! That's 2 people. Hobby Lobby is like a mix of Michael's, the Home Store with a little thrown in the mix. I found this store organized and the employees very pleasant with a willingness to help the customer. This store is horrible unless you love to pay for poor service. You can clearly see they don't care about the customers. The employees there are just there to collect a paycheck. They roll their eyes as you and make remarks when asking for assistance or complain about the long wait time when you're ready to checkout. read more

I went to this store the other day and mind you it's a huge store. It's very poorly staffed because they're short staffed. I went to shop for some home goods and Monica was very helpful. There was a manager there that was so rude. I think her name was Mercy. I don't know how she even got that position because the way she speaks to her staff is disrespectful. My reason for the one star rating for this location of hobby lobby boils down to an employee. This store is always very clean and organize staff is friendly but the incident that I had just now is I think completely on except a bowl and management should address it. My situation is similar to what happened at Taco Bell in Hialeah which is been all over the news. I was back in the section where they have the different types of fabric and I asked and employee that was cutting some fabric "excuse me where can I find the roles of twine?" She looked at me like a deer in the headlights and simply said I don't speak English and went about her work. I replied to her "OK I'll find somebody that can help me." She made zero effort to try to help me or to find somebody that spoke English. I understand that 90% of the population in Hialeah is Hispanic, and I don't have a problem with that at all but it is the effort that was put into the situation. If you're going to hire an employee that does not speak English they should at least show some type of effort to try and help the client. They have non-English speaking cashiers at the Hialeah store that don't know what they're doing, have to ask a manager a question about everything single item they have to scan, and will respond to you in Spanish even when you're speaking to them in English. This inefficiency results into standing in line forever, even when the store is practically empty. As far as deals go, all Hobby Lobby stores have great deals for crafters. There's always a store coupon on their website or app. The Hobby Lobby in Kendall is better and has better customer service. read more

This place is heaven for the creative minds and interested on DIY projects. Place is massive and very organized. First time I went was to get ideas for decorations on my wedding then for Christmas decor. The place is massive and prices are reasonable with deals all the time. read more

Great Hobby Lobby and close to home! I love that every time we come here, there is always plenty of parking space, it's not super packed, and their items are so adorable. My only critique isn't with the location itself but with the company, I guess, in that I wish their hours were better. But I've gotten used to that lol we went today and did notice that many of the items are items they have had for a very long time now - so we were a little disappointed that not many things were new. :( but regardless, I love this place! And I will always be a fan! read more

It's a beautiful story. Had lots of fun picking out items to decorate my daughter's room. She is 8 and didn't want to leave.

This was one of the absolute worst shopping experiences I have ever had. I bought candles, paintbrushes, and other items on Saturday which was a nightmare and so overly crowded. After waiting in line for 25 minutes the cashier was as slow as a sloth and couldn't even wrap up a picture frame to where I had to do it for him. The candles which were heavy and glass he just put in a bag to which i had to wrap as well. I should have known from how incompetent he was acting to perform simple tasks that he would not apply the correct discounts. By the time he was done I just wanted to get out of there! I got home and looked at the receipt which reflected zero sales that were being promoted in the store. The candles and brushes should have been 50% off. They were closed Sunday so yesterday (Tuesday) I was able to make it back over there after an hour of traffic. Waiting again for 15 minutes for people to get returns without receipts..... I explain to the cashier what happened and how the discount signs are still up today/ can I get the discount applied now because it wasn't done the first time. In order to do so she had to get an override from a different employee and approval from a manager. The manager comes over speaks ZERO english which is an absolute disgrace we are in fucking AMERICA and gives me a dirty look. The cashier explains to he my situation in Spanish and the manager tells her that we can't give the discount because it was last weeks deal. HMMM how is that my fault? The signs were also still up so regardless you should honor what it being advertised. If it was last weeks deal why is it TUESDAY and the goddamn signs are still up?? The cashier was nice and felt bad but had no control over the situation. Absolutely ridiculous. I have never experienced such terrible customer service in my life. This store needs to SERIOUSLY reconsider who they have working there. In the end I returned everything and will never be going back!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! read more
