I can't ever remember a time when she was out of the office, even though it is expected on occasion as she is human. What I like most about Dr Gatson is how she sits down and truly listens, even though she may be typing on her laptop during our conversation. I understand that. Otherwise, she may forget some of the details of our conversation. She is a great diagnostician, but never fails to refer you out to a specialist if necessary. The medications she has prescribed to me seem on point. I've never had ANY complaints against this physician. EVER. I wouldn't hesitate to refer any of my family and friends to Dr Gatson. As far as I am concerned, she ranks as one of the very best. Oh... I almost forgot to add... this may be important to those who only have a limited time to see the doctor. You might have somewhat of a long wait to get called back to an exam room. And then another wait in the exam room. This wait does not bother me, as I know she is only spending one on one time with her other patients and to me, that is what it's all about. Because then I know I'm going to get that same thorough attention. I always clear my morning or afternoon when I have an appointment with Dr April Gatson. And lastly, but certainly not least, her nurse, Daisy, is sweet and takes good care of me. So if you are looking for a thorough, compassionate, accommodating, attentive and delightful family physician, I wholeheartedly recommend Dr April Gatson.

I would give this clinic 0 stars if it were possible…read more This clinic is horrible about not answering the phone, not following up or calling back and essentially has an unprofessional staff. I was told that since they are short-staffed, they cannot be bothered to send in the proper paperwork to my insurance provider for a medication. I have been working on refilling this medication since July 20th. It is now Aug 4th. I am out of the medication and have to find another clinic that is willing to help me. Although, when I submitted a complaint (left a phone message and sent a message to Dr. Bradley via the patient portal ) I got a call back from the clinic administrator the next day with excuses as to why they will not help me with insurance and told me I was being "disrespectful" for submitting a complaint about their unprofessionalism. They might be short-staffed but that has nothing to do with how unprofessional the office staff is.

I have also called multiple times to schedule a appointment and all I ever get is there answering machine and I get NO call back. I get tired of calling all the time and not being able to get in. I say GO SEE ANOTHER PCP! highly disappointed with this facility. Moving here I was so excited to get seen but it's just not the case anymore

But....the doctor who treated me went above and beyond in my opinion and he made me feel like a person and not just a patient. His name is Dr. Freimer and with the exception of a couple of other doctor's ive seen there, he is the ABSOLUTE BEST!!!! He was so attentive and compassionate. He took the time to actually listen to me and then did what he felt was best for my care while accepting my input. He was thorough and extremely kind and I am so thankful that he was the doctor who was there that day. I recently moved to Texas after being with the same doctor in Florida for seven years. I had all of my medical records transferred, including my history with anxiety, panic disorder, depression, and severe sleep issues. Over the past year, I have gone through significant life events, including the loss of both parents and a divorce, making consistent and reliable care especially important. From the beginning, communication with this office has been difficult. I have called numerous times seeking assistance and often felt dismissed. When I asked if the doctor could return my call, I was told she "doesn't usually call patients back," which was discouraging given my situation. There have also been ongoing issues with my medications. Initially, I was only prescribed my antidepressant despite providing my full medical history. At one point, I lost my antidepressant and contacted the office to request a refill in order to avoid withdrawal symptoms. I was told by staff that Lexapro is a controlled substance and could not be refilled, which is untrue. Overall, the level of support and clarity provided has been inconsistent. I understand that policies and regulations exist, and I am willing to follow appropriate steps. However, the lack of communication and professionalism has made it difficult to receive proper care. I will be seeking care elsewhere. I hope this feedback encourages improvements in communication, staff training, and patient support--especially for those managing serious mental health conditions.

There are laws against this unethical act. Providers are contracted to certain charges according to the insured plan. They do not bill your insurance correctly so you end up with a denial from your insurance that they expect you to just pay, no questions asked. Well not this girl I ask a lot of questions and don't stop with a simple "It's your insurance". My insurance company explained in detail what my coverage was and what I should have been charged. Unless you have disposable money I would never buy glasses there. Horrible business ethics!

Dr. Kendall took over the dental practice of Dr. Dowd in Tyler when Dr. Dowd passed away. My aunt was already scheduled for a full set of upper and lower dentures with Dr. Dowd, so this is how she ended up being a patient of Dr. Kendall's. The upper set of dentures he did for her were absolutely awful. They were so long they changed the shape of my aunt's face because she can't even close her mouth completely around them. When she made her dissatisfaction known to Dr. Kendall about her dentures being too long his response was "well, if you got a boob job wouldn't you want them out to show off?". He also told her he would absolutely not alter her dentures in any way for her. Whatever happened to customer satisfaction? People go to this man hoping to improve their lives with a new set of teeth. He has a responsibility to each patient to make sure they are happy with their smile when they leave him. I don't understand how he could seriously look at these teeth and confidently tell himself he did a good job. Dr. Kendall, you owe my aunt an apology. Really, you owe her a new set, but you especially owe her an apology. I will make sure to post this review everywhere I possibly can so that other people can have fair warning that even after spending thousands of dollars you still may end up unhappy with their smile

I actually had to get a second opinion from Texas Sedation Dental & Implant center because the dentist I saw previously for a routine cleaning, tried to tell me that I had 4 cavities! Mind you, I've had less than 5 cavities my entire life, so to have 4 was just simply crazy. Everyone from the doctors to the receptionists and everyone in between are the friendliest people I've met since moving back to East Texas, they really want to provide the best care possible for ALL of their patients. I can't wait to get to know everyone who works there. The technology they have for x-rays, implants, fills and just about anything you could imagine is all top notch and very convenient. The doctors and nurses even take the time to explain every procedure and want to make sure that you're comfortable in every situation. Long way around the barn, Texas Sedation & Dental Implant Center is probably the best dental care you could ask for in East Texas! They make what used to be a dreaded dental trip, something that I look forward to twice a year. Thanks everyone!!

I've been bed ridden, in braces, wheel chairs etc. I Broke my femur and my ankle from this infection. Here it is 2023 and I'm just now starting to walk after 15 surgeries. Learning to walk again has been a trial for my body. From my wrists, shoulders, neck, back and especially my feet. After many surgeries and a femur replacement my Chiropractor said he wouldn't touch me anymore. I found Paul Chiropractic and he has worked wonders for me. My first visit I noticed a HUGE difference. He adjusted me from my feet to my fingertips. I've been seeing him now for 2 weeks and I am walking comfortably without my cane most of the time. I still have a way to go, but I know with him I am on the road to full healing. God has truly blessed me by bringing Paul Chiropractic into my life.
