Nice to see some layouts for dining, living and bedroom. I was looking around for inspirations for cabinet and storage ideas. Much of the furniture items are made for palatial rooms, many would take up the entirety of our rooms sadly. It's still nice to see furniture set out either way. Everything about that store needs improvement their sales people are great no problem. Their product never gets delivered on time or has some kind of issue when it is delivered they do not know how to resolve these issues. I would not buy furniture again from them. read more

For being a high end interiors store, the service has not matched. We purchased $20k+ in product. One piece in particular has arrived damaged 3 separate times. After 10 months of delays, we finally got the final (non damaged) piece delivered with half of the piece missing and no explanation!! I am unable to get a hold of someone and the customer service was no help at all. So unfortunate as we had such a great experience with Justin, the designer. Will not be purchasing furniture through Arhaus again as it's just not worth the headache. read more

Horrible customer service. My husband Brian and I walked into the store with our daughter. We are moving and we are looking at new furniture for our abode. Mind you, I am an African American, as is my husband and daughter. There were multiple white teenagers and adults in the store, roaming freely. However, when my husband and I walked in, one of the ladies asked us to leave because they were starting some "event." Now, this would not be a problem to me, but the white couples who walked in after us were not told this same message, nor was anything about an event posted. I will not return here, and I don't think you should either. Not calling the company racist, but these employees sure are. read more

We bought a $9000 couch and a $1500 chair. It took five months to get here which is understandable due to Covid. When we received it within one month of having the furniture, the couch cushions did not keep their shape. The material looks stretched. Actually it looks like it will rip. A Furniture consultant came out for the chair. The base after one month has something jiggling in it. The material was stretched. He said it would take seven hours to fix the chair. We had furniture from Ethan Allen that lasted six years, it could've gone longer. We are disappointed In the quality. The store manager and the sales person were very nice and very accommodating. We had this couch and chair for one month now, and it looks like we've had it for years. read more

We ordered a bed in September 2021. We were told it would arrive in 20 weeks. February 2022 (20 weeks) came and went with no call or email informing us of the delay. April comes and still no bed, and no call or email to let us know the bed wasn't ready. So we called THEM...again, and they did offer us a small discount..which was nice of them. We were told it looks like May 3rd when the bed frame would be in. May 3rd passes and we get no call or email again. Now we are upset, rightfully so I think, and at this point we want to cancel the order and get a refund. Another call to Arhaus with Danielle M., the Regional Manager, and she unwillingly cancels the bed and refunds our money. She first wanted to cancel the bed and offer us 50% refund, (so cancel the bed and keep approximately $2,000?!) Danielle MOST reluctantly gave us the full refund after we had no choice but to threaten legal action. Then she said ARHAUS will not do business with us any longer. She put a red flag on our account and I can't shop there any longer. So years of being a faithful client, spending probably between $50,000-$100,000 in the past, and because I'm upset because a bed took many months passed the promised date to come in-I'm banned. So, everyone know when you shop here and order stuff-it will come or won't come when they promise. Arhaus-You ABUSE your policy when your customers order things by promising us delivery times, with zero cancellation policies - even if the item doesn't come in many months after the promised time frame. For the record, I waited very patiently for months for things to come in which were supposed to be in stock without complaining. I needed the bed. Maybe try and be more compassionate and kind, and understand that customers (people) can't always wait for things they may need by waiting on them way past the date we were told. I understand Covid caused issues with supply, and that is understandable. However without ever reaching out to me to inform us us ever of repeated delays, being annoyed at our frustration, pushing us off to wait for who knows how long is unacceptable. Yes, we are mad. The bed was needed in April to stage a home we were selling. You may have canceled my order, canceled me, but I hope others can read this, and know it can happen to them with the Arhaus company. Danielle-we didn't deserve to be canceled. We actually deserved an apology and a compassionate understanding on behalf of Arhaus for the many months (past the 20 week eta) we waited for the bed, with still an "unknown" eta as of May 2022. Note: if you look at Arhaus Yelp reviews from around the country, you see a lot of the same complaints, delays, not being informed. I would recommend shopping at their outlet stores so you can leave on the spot with you product, also the prices at the outlets are much more reasonably priced for the products they sell. I absolutely love every piece in this store!! Everything is beautifully stylish with a uniqueness that makes me feel like I found it in some secret vault! I'm having a hard time making my final decisions! The sales staff and management are incredibly patient and helpful, not to mention super fun and friendly. They make me feel like I'm already sitting in my living room enjoying time with friends. Everyone that works there is extremely knowledgeable about their products and furniture in general. And they all have excellent design skills. I feel like I'm in good hands and my new living room/dining room are going to be beautiful! read more

I shop at Arhaus a lot. I love the stuff I gotten from there but I went in person to the store in Michigan and the ladies (around 7 ladies) were in their desk laughing, talking, drinking Starbucks and never once came to me to ask if I needed help- which I needed and was ready to purchase. I was inside the store for 30 minutes and they saw me but not one person walked up. Why have employees there? Just let the store display it self if no one going to come to help. read more

I would give this place 0 stars if I could. I have to echo complaints and concerns about Arhaus. Their furnishings may be attractive but they are definitely not worth the risk. We likewise had an issue with the quality of furniture we purchased and the financing department who was not transparent with their fees. I wish we would have done more research on this company before we purchased with them vs. a competitor. Not only do they have a half dozen reviews on here of 2 or fewer stars, they have some pretty serious complaints. They have 55 complaints on BBB; only 9 of which have been resolved satisfactorily with the customer. 40 of the 55 complaints have been filed within the last year. If you read these complaints you'll see that there are some very egregious issues against Arhaus and they seemingly do not care or they'd make an effort to right some of these with customers. Furniture is a highly competitive market and if you look at comparable companies to Arhaus you'll find a stark difference in the complaints filed. Clearly this is a company who cares very little for its customers, customer service, quality, or doing the right thing. Sadly, I greatly regret ever stepping foot in this place. I hope that I will prevent someone else from the hassle and huge monetary loss we have suffered with my review. Do your due diligence! No matter how much you like a table, couch, or other piece here, it is NOT worth the risk. If you have an issue, you can pretty much consider yourself out of luck. I cannot imagine treating people this way in my line of work. I'd go out of business, and expect to. All I have to say, is Karma is a B*tch, and Arhaus certainly has a large dose of unpleasant karma yet to come their way. PSA: Buyer beware!!! Ordered sofa from Arhaus at Somerset in February. Told 8-10 weeks from order to delivery, max. It's actually 6 - 8 MONTHS. They claim fabric is on backorder. Had months to relay this info and offer to choose different fabric, or offer some sort of recourse. We even called periodically to check the status. Unacceptable. They require 50% down when you order and won't let you cancel an order that they haven't even started. Two thumbs down! read more

Arhaus Furniture was never a scheduled port of call for the Davenport Expedition of 2013. For a store on the fancy side of the Somerset Collection, I expected middling quality furniture with three extra helpings of pretension and an extra zero on the price tag. After coming up empty handed from Pottery Barn and Restoration Hardware, the beau and I made a foray into the gallery mid-swing through a sale. The season's theme: maritime Victorian meets Indian bazaar. On that note, Arhaus carries unique curios and swanky furniture a hemisphere away from the Art Vans and Gardner-Whites of Michigan. We found as many heritage pieces as contemporary black leather couches and distressed metal chairs, thrown together in intriguing styles. Sales associates wandering the store will gladly show you different fabric options or how to match that octagonal, tile-topped end table with something less showboaty. An assortment of custom upholstery books lurk behind the central register area, and don't be fooled by an unassuming pintucked ottoman. It probably comes in electric purple damask embellished by crystal tassels. Even at sale time, the prices reflect the quirky factor and the fact this *is* a Somerset store. Coupon hunt and bargain viciously. Couches and loveseats have a significant markup comparable to Restoration Hardware across the way, and I can't speak too much to the craftsmanship or country of origin. We ended up beguiled by a golden bird-cage chandelier adorned by delicate glass blooms, marked down to $200 from $499. I fancied its antique globe form enough to swallow the cost, and got another 20% off for the day's special. However, a special associate not working that day needed to take the chandelier down. We purchased it Friday. Our sales associate, Nicole, told us to expect a call Sunday or Monday. By end of business Monday, Arhaus still hadn't called. I got a tentative promise the chandelier would be ready by Tuesday afternoon. Fortunately it was, bundled in bubble wrap and stuck in a large fabric Arhaus bag. Not the most secure or protected way to receive a metal and glass chandelier. I like the product I bought, though I still need to find a place to put it in the new house. However, the poor communication would make me think twice about making a custom order or a large purchase. read more

This is in regards to the custom made copper tables. I do not recommend purchasing one of these as a kitchen table. I was hoping that it would be more durable than wood but it is not. Water glasses, vases, coffee mugs or anything with moisture causes white spots. I am quite disappointed particularly because the sales associate told me these tables were easy to care for, just use soap and water. BUYING THE PROTECTION PLAN IS A MUST when purchasing one of these tables. You'll definitely have to file a claim if you plan to set anything on this table. read more

Poor customer service and poor quality chair and will not be purchasing from here again. We ordered a custom leather chair and ottoman and it arrived 12 weeks later but arrived in a different color (deep black rather than 'anhla grey') with different legs and the cushion didn't fit(-butted out) and lastly, the tufting on the corners of the ottomon were messy and looked unfinished. It looked cheap, poorly constructed and not like a $3500 set. On delivery, we told delivery person that it was not the chair we ordered and to return to store. He insisted we keep it in the house and sign for it-which we did. I made a visit to the Arhaus to meet with our designer on the same day as delivery to explain the situation. His response was that it was a custom order and nothing he could do about it. His demeanor was dismissive, arrogant and just not helpful. He told us to deal with concierge via phone. Concerige has been polite, timely in response, attentive but not helpful in remedying the situation. They have offered a 50%refund (-50% restocking fee) and nothing else. They will not address the issue of ordering and receiving wrong chair and poor quality. They keep repeating that it was a custom purchase and nothing that they can do. Even if it is an error on their part in ordering the wrong color! My advice is buyer beware, especially on any pieces that are custom ordered. We have also filed a BBB complaint and found they have several complaints against them. read more

I can't say enough about Arhaus as a brand and also Austin Wood, sales associate extraordinaire. We ordered a custom sofa and had a few quality issues. I expected Arhaus to offer to repair the issues, but instead they offered to remake a brand new sofa. And this was without me asking for anything more than repairs. Wow - talk about a company that stands behind their product. Austin was wonderful from the start in helping me select the right custom sofa style and color. He was incredibly patient with me, answering all of my questions and staying until well after the store closed to accommodate my busy schedule. He followed through when we had the quality issue and was more than responsive. I went from knowing little about Arhaus before placing the order to becoming true believer in the brand. read more

I really enjoy working with Austin at Arhaus Somerset. He gives great design advice and is always quick to respond. I have furnished 4 rooms with Austin's help and they all look amazing. Recently I moved to Nashville, TN where I needed even more furniture so I called up Austin for help. Once again he helped me pick out everything but by phone. I love my Arhaus furniture and recommend anyone talk to Austin if they want their house to look beautiful. There was even difficulties with delivery due to a 3rd party (there is no Arhaus in the state of TN) and Austin and Arhaus made everything right and I will continue to purchase my furniture from MI even though I live in TN because the service is amazing! Boy has my impression of Arhaus changed over the past few months! I love interior design & initially fell in love with this store - beautiful, unusual, & tasteful pieces. We were starting a large remodel last year and window shopping for pieces when we were encouraged to buy during their friends and family sale. We were transparent that we wouldn't be ready for the furniture for months due to the remodel and assured it wouldn't be a problem; encouraged to finance for the savings. We asked a multitude of questions- what if we changed our mind, the pieces didn't fit the vision once the remodel was done, etc. We were assured there was zero risk until after delivery, that they stood behind their merchandise, had "white glove service", and would take care of us. So we jumped and trusted them at their word. And, we were excited about our furniture- in fact, I could hardly wait for the remodel to finish so I could see it all come together. We shared our enthusiasm about Arhaus with friends and family. My SIL purchased a dining table set with them. And a friend purchased a living room set. My girlfriend experienced some problems with quality of the entertainment center she purchased. When we did some research we saw other concerns about quality from other users online. My husband decided we had perhaps been hasty with our purchase - 30k in furniture is a huge investment. He called the store manager and ultimately decided to cancel the order. Everyone we've dealt with at the Somerset store has been great. Sure they're a bit pushy but they are sales people. Their customer service was always excellent and we were told it was "no problem" to cancel. We were relieved and left on great terms. We actually had very good intention of reconsidering and still purchasing with them at that point. We just wanted to be 1000% sure it was what we wanted and still had a few months until the remodel was complete to decide. This is where things went south, and quickly. We were told it would take 30-60 days to process our refund. Well that was 8 months ago and we are still waiting on 6k paid towards furniture we never used, touched, or received. The corporate company at Arhaus is refusing to issue a refund and blaming the credit card financing company, who tells us the issue is with the corporate office at Arhaus. After numerous calls and attempts to settle this, we've had to resort to working with the BBB to resolve. Never in a million years did we ever worry this would happen. We were told one thing locally and another thing ultimately by corporate. Hopefully this will be resolved and if it is I will gladly update my review. But sadly, at this point not only can I not in good conscience recommend Arhaus, but I would strongly caution you to turn around and run if you are considering any purchase here. This company is devoid of ethics. Who does this kind of thing to their customers??? Read and research them online and through BBB- we are NOT alone. There are several other issues with quality and customer service. Run and don't look back and be glad you did. The retail industry has tons of competitors and no furniture is worth taking this big of a risk on. If they can't stand behind their word and customer service with us and our friend, do you honestly think they will for you? Update: Despite the public comment below, there has been ZERO follow-up. And, no response when I've reached out privately to follow-up. Again, such potential, but all show and no substance. Definitely look elsewhere. read more

I've had great experiences with Arhaus both sales and delivery. In furnishing my new home I was able to find a bedroom set I liked and exchange a piece that didn't fit with no issues. Most especially with the help of Austin Wood, I purchased dining furniture and counter stools the fit perfectly with the decor of my great room. I am so pleased with how helpful he was in sorting out my style and helping coordinate the look. If you have issues with your decor go and see Austin - you won't be sorry. read more

I am giving them 2 stars instead of one because they have fun and unusual pieces. I have purchased a few small items here, but this was going to be my first furniture purchase. Just don't feel that they want my business. Not very friendly. First two times I was there, I walked around the entire store and was never acknowledged by a single associate.... And both times the store was almost empty. In April, I visited the store and saw a pub table that I liked.... But it was table height and I wanted counter height. Checked online and found out same table would be available in May. Returned to the store last weekend to buy the table ($869). They didn't have it at the store (had other tables from same "group"). Was told I could order it, but there would be a $149 (which adds 17% to price of table) delivery charge. I asked if this could be waived if I picked up table at the store. Sales person had to check with manager...called back today and told me that they would deliver to the store and waive the delivery charge, but there were a few "conditions" that I had to agree to. These included meeting the truck in the delivery area and signing off on any damage if there were problems assembling the piece, among others. Too many hoops to jump through to give them my money. I decided to pass and won't go to this store again. read more

I really enjoyed shopping at Arhaus Furniture. Cathy was very helpful, informative and friendly. No pushy sales associates here, they let you shop in peace while answering questions and showing you fabric and finish options. I just got the Garner sectional sofa in black, pebbled leather, and the Naomi brass coffee table for my bedroom lounge area, and it took me less than 45 minutes despite th customization of the sofa's leather and wood. In addition, I was able to exchange my newly purchased dining room table for some other items as I am now turning my dining room into a kitchen lounge rather than formal dining room. I like lounging. lol. I LOVE the tufted furniture they carry here, very princess-like. They have frequent sales here, giving you same as stock proces on custom fabrics, factory prices on tables etc... I don't love everything here, but it's fun to mix their stuff with Restoration Hardware pieces, vintage pieces, and other more unique furniture and decor finds. The stuff seems quality, the wood is solid not laminate, and the fabrics are high end. Good spot. read more

I recently bought 2 cabinets and artwork from there. I had an idea what I was looking for when I walked in, but was really limited by the size I was looking for due to the small space these pieces were going in. Austin Wood was the amazing sales associate who helped me. I gave him the dimensions I was looking for and described the space these were going to go in and boom! In literally 1 minute, he pulled up the piece online then walked me over to see it in the showroom. He was extremely helpful and gave me space to walk around and browse for other pieces on my own time. I never felt any pushiness which is certainly not the experience I have had at most other stores. Austin was very patient and answered all of my questions. I usually dread furniture shopping, but this was certainly a great experience and I will definitely be shopping there again. Bought furniture here with the expectation that this was a "high end" furniture store with knowledgeable staff. Ended up being misled with an order and received a $7K furniture set that was not the color that was expected (complete mismatch). Customer support is non-existent and we were basically told we were on our own. Extremely disappointed and frustrated at the whole experience. We now have an overpriced new furniture set that can't be used (we're currently trying to sell the set second hand to recoup some of the money we lost and start again with a more professional company instead - insane situation to be in when buying new furniture and waiting months for delivery). To add insult to injury the furniture we received also appears to have a problem with an infestation of moths (moths have been coming out of the furniture for the past week). ok, so I want to start by saying that they have very nice furniture, and everything appears to be high quality, especially that it is all made in the US of A and that's something we like and we believed that this will result in high end quality. we had to custom order our stuff since we wanted different colors and etc... they said 8-10 weeks. sure why not, it took 10 weeks for 5 out of 6 pieces to arrive. the 6th piece, it's been 12 weeks and we have not even heard from them, but that's not why I am giving them 1 star. 4 out of 5 pieces delivered so far have problems with them. a sofa we ordered with one bench cushion came with 2 separate cushions and now supposedly they are remaking it. one very expensive leather chair had bad leather on it with very obvious imperfections and possible tears that I identified immediately on delivery, and now they are also remaking it, and then another chair (we bought two similar chairs, each for 1800 $) has a wobbly, unsteady arm rest connected to the leg of the chair (it is beautiful, but unsteady). and then a few days later I discover there is a nice big dent on the wooden coffee table (beautiful table) that it is obviously a result of improper handling and shipping, you have to see it to know what I mean. So the only piece we have that we have no issues with are 2 side tables. otherwise, 5 out of 6 pieces need replacement or fixing. this is unacceptable. their customer service is good however, and so far they are trying to fix all the problems. I just don't feel comfortable everytime I have to call, seems almost unreal that you have problems with so many of the items. this is supposed to be a high end furniture, not Art van (sorry art van). while the furniture is nice, and if everything is eventually fixed, we will be happy, but it is just too draining to have to go back and forth so much to fix 5 out of 6 or 7 you purchase. read more
