Can I say? HOLY COW. We ordered the famous jerk chicken and curry chicken. Both with rice and veggies. The jerk chicken was delicious, tender and spicy enough to leave a buzz on your tongue without being overpoweringly hot. My husband commented that it was truly authentic and the flavors melded together beautifully. The curry chicken was falling off the bone and literally melted in my mouth like butter. The sauce was thickly coating every inch of meat with flavors reminiscent of my travels to the Caribbean. The rice? I will say, as a Puerto Rican, I have never liked rice outside of that. Pilaf, Mexican, sometimes even Chinese rice. But this?? Omg. Their rice and peas soaked up the chicken marinades wonderfully and enhanced the entire experience. CANNOT wait to order again! Best meal I've had in months!!

I just had to call her and tell her about it! She was silent and said she didn't hear what I said it I repeated it and then she said it was a medium and I said a medium with no oxtails and your stew chicken tasted like spaghetti! I will no longer buy from you again and will tell all friends! once it gets out there you will lose business and raising your prices won't help!! It pushed right in. It was opened. The place is quaint. There were quite a few ppl there waiting to order which made me feel good about it. I ordered the small ox tails. I went to the bathroom while I waited for food to prepare. FYI, the lock doesn't work, so you either have to have someone watch from the outside or hold the door while doing your thing in the inside. J/S ‍ Anyway, food was ready. I added hot sauce because I love it super spicy. After the first bite I fell in love!! I really wanted the curry chicken, but all the reviews said I should try the ox tails. And I can rest assure (and assure you as well) that it was a hit! It seriously ignited my taste buds. Mmm mmm mmm. You will absolutely love it! And the hot sauce was not too vinegar as some hot sauces. It was the perfect complement to the food. I wish I added more but I wanted to try it first since I wasn't eating there at the restaurant. All in all - food was delicious. Bathroom was relatively clean. And serving conditions looked well behind the counters. Remember it's CASH ONLY and it only cost $11 for a small. And that was more than satisfying. I didn't want to stop so I stuffed my belly. I even chewed the bones it was so good. ‍

I'm a monfongo lover and I heard it is wonderful here. Monfongo is plaintain mashed like smashed (not mashed) potatoes and mixed with garlic and evoo of butter. Aka deliciousness. I ordered the yellow rice and stewed chicken with yucca. The yucca was a little dry, undercooked in the core but the food was great. The chicken was cooked perfectly, not over cooked. The rice was nice with the sauce from the chicken dish. The flavors were all there. I love food with dimensions of flavor if that makes sense. Sort of like African food where you can taste so many herbs and veggies in one bite. Delicious. And not overly salty. I love that I could see thyme sprigs in the chicken sauce. My kind of eats. Please check this place out. When you do be careful and extra alert - it's downtown Worcester. There were quite a few druggies etc hanging out on the block where the restaurant is. There is a small stocked bar (another time... when NOT working!) Started with the fresh squeezed juice. DELICIOUS!... then ordered the fried cheese appetizer. It came out plated beautiful. Actually, everything was plated for a beautiful dining experience, and this was LUNCH! I bit into the cheese with the homemade guava sauce and kept repeating OMG...OMG...OMG! I couldn't believe how tasty. Then, for my meal, i ordered pork chops, arrow con gandules (rice with pigeon peas), and salad. Just look at the pictures! There's edible GOLD on the pork chops and the tomato on the salad. More OMG's as I cut into and ate the pork chops. Perfectly seasoned, juicy, and yet with edges of crispness. There was too much to eat at one time, and my greediness got to me. I ordered the appetizer for 1-3 people to go. Pork, chicken, mufungo, tostones, empanadas, salad, and seafood with their accompanied sauces. I'm at home now... I just reheated and fed 3 people off of it with plenty leftover for snacking later. Everything was soooooo wonderful. I can't wait to go again... next Thursday if I can!!!

Served on a huge plate, there was a giant portion of rice and a small side salad as well as many good sized shrimp. Super delicious and the food was piping hot. Service was great and I loved the music here, which was a mix of reggaeton, Bad Bunny and Karol G but played at a low, chill volume so it didn't distract from conversation. The interior is sort of casual but with some nice touches like a wall of greenery with a PR flag. Our server was super friendly and this is a family business. We parked in the private lot in the back, which is reserved for tenants of the building. A guy who appeared to be associated with the barber shop in the same building told us it was safe to leave our car there to visit the restaurant. I'd recommend parking near the barbershop since they seemed to keep their door open and would see anyone messing with your car. There were a number of homeless people here begging but they did not bother us. Only reasons for not giving five stars has nothing to do with the food, atmosphere or service.
