Found this place through Yelp while on the search for some bomb Jamaican food. I never judge a business on their appearance. Most of my favorite restaurants are hole in the wall, mom & pop spots - and this restaurant was no different. I decided to come here for takeout. It was easy enough to find with plenty of off-street parking. It wasn't busy when I came around 6:30 pm, there was one other patron getting food when I arrived. The inside of the restaurant is....quaint. I ended up getting the rice and beans with jerk chicken and cabbage. I really like the way the food is prepared here. The jerk chicken was perfect. Practically falling off the bone, perfect seasoning, and just enough spice to it. The cabbage was really good too. Some places try to be extra and add unnecessary fixings to the cabbage. They had a variety of softdrinks available and a decent menu. I believe they were out of oxtail when I was there, but that's about it. Y'all should definitely try it out if you ever get the chance!

Was recommended by a friend who use to go to the other location. After reading Yelp reviews, people have said they opened this location. This place doesn't look like much inside out but it is an absolute hidden gem! We came here around lunchtime and there was a long line up. By the time it was our turn, we could only order a small oxtail combo (rice, and cabbage) since they ran out and it would take too long for the next batch. In addition, we ordered the curry goat combo, again comes with rice and cabbage. The ox tail was absolutely delicious! It is not spicy at all, this is coming from someone who can only handle mild heat! The rice with red bean and cabbage was also full of flavor. The beef patty was crispy and spicy but delicious! I'll definitely be coming back!

I've been looking for a good Jamaican restaurant in worcester for years. Finally doing it. Now don't come here looking for luxurious fine dining. It's more suited for take out. The outside landscape looks more like Jamaica than in a city. But don't let the whole in the wall look confuse you. Come in here. Look at the menu and order. I promise the best Jamaican in the area. The curry goat is on point!!! $11 for a small is a bit more expensive than something if find in Boston, but it was so good, worth every penny. GOOD NEWS. THEY NOW TAKE CREDIT CARDS! And they have remodeled. Looks more modern inside and they have seating to eat inside.

Came back for more fried chicken...only to find that we were too late. Gotta call ahead next time! So it will be jerk chicken instead. I think I'll live. The menu is still...unencumbered with excessive variety...but that's not why we are here. We are here for the kickass food. One question...what is Celine doing on the playlist?

Now she raises her food prices again it's $24.00 dollars for the oxtails and she call that medium and 15.00 for Stew Chicken. the amount for the stew chicken not bad that's reasonable. For 24.00 dollars you don't serve oxtail that's mostly have fat on it and 4 chopped up pieces. The stew chicken gravy was red and taste like spaghetti sauce. I just had to call her and tell her about it! She was silent and said she didn't hear what I said it I repeated it and then she said it was a medium and I said a medium with no oxtails and your stew chicken tasted like spaghetti! I will no longer buy from you again and will tell all friends! once it gets out there you will lose business and raising your prices won't help!! Do Better in your community who always supported you and this is what we are getting in return. Not returning! She needs to go back cooking and serving the way she when Covid - 2024 Today she earns a big 2 from me!

I often gauge the attention to detail with an establishment by the cleanliness of the restroom. Theirs was absolutely spotless and even smelled fragrant! That's a great indicator. Furthermore, anytime I get Jamaican cuisine it's like a good Italian restaurant with a litmus test. For Italian, it's calamari; for Jamaican it's the jerk chicken. Mama Mia did they hit a homerun. However, I also got an order of the curry chicken for a rounding of the flavor bases. PRO TIP-get the traditional rice and peas, ask for the ox tail sauce over the top. NEXT LEVEL! Both chicken dishes were slow cooked and maxed out with flavor. The heat level of the curry was actually a little more than the jerk. Regardless, they both hit the mark. Highest recommendation! Bon appetite! PS-super friendly service and staff.

Gorgeous presentation with an edible flower and gold dust. We also had a side order of maduros for an app. Delicious! The maduros were legit my favorite thing here, although everything was great. For a main course I had shrimp in garlic sauce with mamposteo. Served on a huge plate, there was a giant portion of rice and a small side salad as well as many good sized shrimp. Super delicious and the food was piping hot. Service was great and I loved the music here, which was a mix of reggaeton, Bad Bunny and Karol G but played at a low, chill volume so it didn't distract from conversation. The interior is sort of casual but with some nice touches like a wall of greenery with a PR flag. Our server was super friendly and this is a family business. We parked in the private lot in the back, which is reserved for tenants of the building. A guy who appeared to be associated with the barber shop in the same building told us it was safe to leave our car there to visit the restaurant. I'd recommend parking near the barbershop since they seemed to keep their door open and would see anyone messing with your car. There were a number of homeless people here begging but they did not bother us. Only reasons for not giving five stars has nothing to do with the food, atmosphere or service. I found the women's bathroom in need of a cleaning and they also have a small convenience fee that was not mentioned anywhere but was added to our bill. Additionally, be careful to review your check because they automatically add a 20 percent gratuity.

Being such a famous restaurant we expected the best , our friend first time in Puerto Rico so we wanted to show them our tipical PR food. First our waiter seemed like he did not want to be there, second we ordered the food an it took forever (over an hour and a half), and lastly when the food got to the table it was cold, it seemed like it had been sitting in the kitchen for quite a while. The womens bathroom was pathetic!!! I have never seeing something like that (other than a porto-potty) the trash was full to the top, and the floor had more trash than the trashcans, and toilet, forget it!! I cannot describe the condition they were in.
