After having visited MCK Fusion it looks like the new owners have spruced the place up. There is ample seating inside or you can order take out at the large counter with stools. The menu is huge. There are four pages of dishes to choose from plus appetizers, dessert and beverages that include beer and wine. For my first visit I ordered the tacos with your choice of chicken, pork, or steak topped with onions and cilantro. I tried one of each and they ranged in price from $2.25 to $2.75. The girl who helped me was a sweetheart. Served with lime and a tasty green sauce, the tacos were filling and delicious. Prices are inexpensive and I look forward to trying out the rest of the menu. I wish them the best of luck in their new restaurant. Support a small business and check them out. The restaurant is open daily from 8 to 10 PM except for Sunday when they close at 9.

The soup had no flavor btw. The place was almost empty & service was so slow. The empanadas came out together with the sancocho which both were cold I had to request for the waitress to reheat my soup . The rice was half cooked very crunchy and we ordered a kids apple juice and they gave out 10 year old a sparking soda like what the hell.

Yelp said Donde Yurba was the top rated place in our proximity so off we went! We got (and ate in quick succession) two chicken empanadas and two bunuelos ... YUM! As you walk in, there is a dining room in front of you and a cold/hot case to your right, filled with pastries, breads, and South American pre-packaged treats. At the back of the restaurant there is a bar with beer and wine and a To-Go counter. I sat for table service and ordered a Cafe con Leche without sugar, one pan de bono, and one #6- scrambled eggs with ham (add tomato) and an arepa. The Cafe con Leche tasted good but it was more akin to a Cappuccino as there was too much foam. The pan de bono was warm and chock full of yummy cheese. Lastly, the scrambled eggs were perfectly seasoned with fresh veggies. I'd never had an open-faced arepa before, so I had to as Google how to eat it :D It said you are meant to use the arepa to scoop the rest of the food, which I did and it was heavenly. The arepa was crunchy, buttery, and cheesy which paired very well with the eggs and veggies. I would definitely return as that was a completely craveable meal!

Service was fast and on point as we were in a rush and our order arrived quickly and fresh. The papa rellenas was amazing and the best I've had as it full and hearty with the perfect filling and not your typical rellenas. It was flavorful and different with an egg inside with smooth potatoes and perfectly fried on the outside. The paisa was a great platter served with great portions of everything to try and a must have.

I just wish there had been more meat in the soup there were more potatoes, plantain, and yucca chunks than chicken. Excellent service, kind waitresses! 3 for food/service + 1 for fixing my poorly made margarita 5 Stars for their fresh JUICES! Must have, get their fresh juice. They make 5 or 6 fresh juices. Tamarind is amazing! So why only a 3: 1. Margarita: big failure. Ordered a lime margarita, it was frozen. Probably better on the rocks. But zero flavor for a lime margaritas. And almost zero alcohol. Im an expert, so I know a mixed drink. Well, they did turn it around for me, they begged me to make a replacement choice, thats rare. Most places just shrug their shoulders. Well they made it right! So thank you! I wish they would buy a good mix and a decent tequila. Its not hard to make a good cocktail. If they only have a wine license, they should make a good Sangria! $5 Sangria with different floaters for $2 or $3, or by the pitcher. Here is an idea for the owner:..use your fresh juice for cocktails. That pineapple + honduran rum or a vodka. Oh my! Its funny how thet make the perfect cocktail base, but dont use it for that. They make fresh blackberry juice I think, imagine that with wine! Omg. I hope they fix the cocktails! 2. Get a QR code menu that has english and spanish. We are gringos. So, we saw some english here or there on the menu, but they need to do an online menu with english plus photos! I think they have a lovely spot bit would be nice to see live music or a 2 piece band.
