Trino is a small but inviting spot that delivers a great dining experience, especially if you're looking for something intimate to enjoy with friends. The atmosphere is cozy and relaxed, making it a perfect place to sit back and enjoy a good meal without feeling overwhelmed. I ordered the Trino Explosion Burger, and it definitely lived up to its name. Every bite had a burst of flavor, with a combination of ingredients that made the burger stand out from the usual options. It's a hearty choice and perfect if you have a big appetite. The staff was very attentive and professional throughout my visit, making sure everything was just right. Their service added to the overall positive experience. If you're a burger lover looking for something flavorful and filling, I highly recommend trying the Trino Explosion Burger.

TRINO RESTAURANT 7891 W Sample Road, Coral Springs Also: 6965 W Commercial Blvd, Tamarac, FL 33319 Venezuelan burgers at Trino -- trust me, ignore the outside and go in. This Coral Springs location has only been open about a month. It used to be a Peruvian restaurant called Italo (same owner), and honestly the exterior still carries that awkward in-between energy. Blacked-out glass, neon, very much "is this a vape shop or an adult bookstore?" vibes. Then you walk inside -- and it's a complete personality shift. The interior is a full-on nerd shrine: Star Wars posters, Marvel art, retro signs, guitars on the wall, framed pop culture everywhere. Clean, bright, casual, and clearly meant to be fun. It feels intentional, not kitschy. The food absolutely backs it up. These are Venezuelan-style smash burgers -- double patties, aggressively juicy, stacked with white cheese, Munster, bacon, potato stix, and a soft toasted bun that somehow holds together despite the chaos. You can see it in the cross-section: no dry beef, no filler, just meat, fat, cheese, and crunch. But the real differentiator here is the sauce situation. They bring out squeeze bottles like you're about to conduct a science experiment: * Ajo (garlic) * Blue cheese (excellent) * Bacon (ridiculous) * Sweet corn (unexpectedly great) * Trino sauce (tangy ranch-style) Get fries for the table and just start mixing. This place understands that sauces are not a garnish -- they're the point. Beyond burgers, the menu goes full Venezuelan and Colombian: perros (loaded hot dogs), cachapas (sweet corn pancake sandwiches), empanadas, patacones. This isn't a burger place pretending to do Latin food -- it's Latin street food that happens to do burgers extremely well. Bottom line: The outside may make you hesitate. Don't. Inside is fun, the burgers are legit, and the sauce game alone earns the visit. A genuinely solid addition to Coral Springs -- and one I'll be going back to.

The food? A solid 5. The service? Maybe a 3 on a good day…read more When I went to check out, I noticed the prices on my bill were higher than what was listed on the menu. I asked for an itemized receipt, and sure enough, some items had been rung up differently. The person at the counter explained that they recently started using Uber Eats, and the upcharged prices were only meant to be for people ordering from Uber--not in the restaurant. He had to call his manager to fix it, so I waited while they sorted it out. I appreciated that they did correct the issue, but it was a bit confusing. But this part of the experience did feel misleading to customers in general. After paying, the cashier went to the back and didn't return for a while. We weren't offered water or drinks while we waited for the food, and when I tried to get someone's attention from the front desk, no one came. Eventually, someone from the kitchen kindly helped us out--huge thanks to her! The food itself was fantastic, and I'd absolutely come back in hopes that it was just an off day. The space inside felt a little quiet and low-energy, and the young man at the counter didn't seem super enthusiastic--but everyone has those days. All in all, great food with room to grow on the service side. I'll definitely give it another try.

My family loved it. It came with an arepa (corn meal Venezuelan bread) and fresh cheese. We will come back to try other dishes. Follow them on Instagram @doctorchichallc
