Their menu is small, which we actually appreciate because they focus on doing a few things really well. The chicken tenders are perfectly crispy with great seasoning and flavor. The matchstick fries are always crispy too, not too thick or heavy. Meals come with coleslaw and Texas toast, and both are delicious additions. Their signature sauce is a must. I'm not sure what's in it, but it's so good and pairs perfectly with everything. This location is a bit more tight, the parking lot and drive through area. However it is manageable - just a bit more traffic than some other locations we have been too. Service was good and restaurant was clean inside!

It's a fast-food concept that keeps things very simple with a limited menu: chicken tenders, fries, and a sandwich. We tried the 4 Chicken Fingers combo with crinkle-cut fries, Texas toast, coleslaw, and the recommended Arnold Palmer, sweet tea mixed with lemonade which was refreshing and enjoyable. My favorites were definitely the Texas toast and the coleslaw. The toast was lightly crisp with a buttery garlic finish that made it easy to enjoy. The coleslaw was fresh with a nice crunch and well-balanced creamy without being overly tangy or sweet. The chicken itself was tender but fairly mild. It was okay on its own and really relies on the sauce to bring the flavor together. They offer both indoor and outdoor seating, with self-serve fountain drinks and tea, and lemonade available at the counter. Service was prompt, location clean and the staff were friendly and attentive. Overall, it was okay. Sometimes simple works and sometimes it's just that: simple. Where food meets adventure, see you back at the table! IG: @shallonztable Review #3

This time, I ordered two Grande Burger Plus burgers because I honestly couldn't settle for just one and I'm glad I didn't. They were absolutely amazing. The flavors are bold, unique, and packed into every bite, making these burgers truly one of a kind. What really stands out about this place is the Latin atmosphere. It brings a lively, authentic vibe that makes the experience even more enjoyable. You can tell there's a lot of culture and passion behind the food, and it shows in both the taste and presentation. The staff is always friendly, smiling, and genuinely happy to have you there, which makes a big difference. It's the kind of place where you feel welcomed every time you walk in. Overall, La Perrada Company never disappoints. Great food, great energy, and a spot I'll definitely continue coming back to for years to come.

On entering at about 12:20 p.m. the buffet that's supposed to begin at noon was just being set up. So we decided to wait and try it. At about 12: 40 p.m. it was ready. I would try to use the proper names of the dishes in the buffet but I am afraid I am going to get them wrong. So it's easier to name the main ingredients. The beef stew (nihari) was very pleasing to the eye but not the palate. It was very dry. The cowfoot stew is probably an acquired taste. But the bits of tendons fell easily off the bone and were tasty. The vegetarian options were the best with a potato dish made of squares of potato in a curry gravy, a chic peas stew, a scrambled egg and vegetable mixture (anda bhaji--that was my favorite), and a (sweet) potato casserole that served nicely as a dessert for the meal. You can get rice, naan, paratha, and pouri to accompany your meal. We got one of each and shared them. The restaurant seats about 25 or more. We were the first ones there but the place soon filled. At one point, of the 16 patrons having lunch, we were the only ones that didn't seem to be of Pakistani descent. A table of men all had burgers, but I am not sure what kind. The restaurant sells a few kinds and special ones. I only saw three people working at Khan Baba. Two who came out from the back once or twice (cooks?) and young man who did all the work up front (take orders, serve, etc.). I guess because he was alone, tables were not being cleared as he concentrated on fetching meals, breads, drinks, and ringing up those who wanted to leave. The lunch buffet was $16.95 each and worth it.

The family's journey into the restaurant business began in 1973 with the opening of Panda Inn. A decade later, they introduced Panda Express in Glendale, California, as a fast-casual version of the original restaurant. The chain's signature Orange Chicken, now its most iconic dish, was created by Chef Andy Kao at a Panda Express location in Hawaii in 1987. Originally found only in shopping mall food courts, Panda Express steadily expanded into standalone restaurants throughout the 1980s and 1990s. Today, it has grown into the largest American Chinese fast-food chain in the United States, with locations around the world. I've been working in the area at night lately, so I've stopped in for dinner here several times. It's an affordable option for a quick meal and this location stays open until 1:00 a.m.! It's always bustling with customers. I was disappointed to see the Cantonese-style brisket disappear from the menu so quickly. It felt like it was only available for a short time before being replaced with Hot Orange Chicken, which isn't really to my taste. This visit, I ordered my usual favorites:, Orange Chicken and Honey Walnut Shrimp with a side of chow mein. The portions were a little stingier tonight. Consistency of portion size is not really a thing here. It depends on what server you get. My meal came to about $15. I recently downloaded the Panda Express app and have started scanning my receipts to earn rewards points. The dining room was clean, something I always appreciate. Even with the smaller portions and the loss of my favorite brisket, Panda Express is one of my go-to spots for a quick, satisfying, and reasonably priced meal. The late-night hours and rewards program are a nice bonus.

They developed their marinade recipe through backyard barbecues. Their restaurant concept was to marinate and grill the chicken in full view of the customer. By 1993 they had grown to eight restaurants serving Latin Caribbean and Cuban food. Pollo Tropical is now a subsidiary of Fiesta Restaurant Group, Inc. The company headquarters are in Doral and they currently own and operate more than 140 locations throughout Florida, plus five on college campuses, and 32 franchised locations throughout the Caribbean, Central America, South America, and Puerto Rico. I remember eating at Pollo Tropical quiet often in the early 2000's because you could always get a fast, economical, and healthy meal. I especially love the curry sauce but through the years the grubbiness of the restaurants were a real turn off and I gradually stopped going. Fast forward to today when I was with someone who wanted to eat here. I didn't have high hopes but in the interest of being agreeable I went along. Wow, I have to say I am impressed. The restaurant was spotless with an updated tropical color scheme. It looked clean and spacious. The tables weren't sticky and dirty which was always a problem before. Gone is the sloppy, messy sauce station. Instead you request your sauce and it is given portioned out in plastic cups. The young lady who took our order was so nice. I got my usual chicken tropichop with yellow rice and the bowl was topped with perfectly grilled tender chunks of chicken. So good especially when drizzled with the curry sauce. I ate inside and it was very pleasant but you can get your food to go from the drive thru too. This was a really good lunch that didn't leave me feeling heavy, tired, and bloated after. This location of Pollo Tropical deserves some higher stars.

For those unfamiliar, Nashville hot chicken is a style of fried chicken known for its bold heat--thanks to a spicy coating made with hot sauce and cayenne--that packs both flavor and a kick. They currently have a location on Oakland Park Boulevard and recently opened a second spot in Ft. Pierce. I happened to stop by while taking a break from clearing out a nearby Public Storage unit and was looking for a quick bite. This is a fast-casual setup with a few tables on a covered outdoor patio, along with a convenient drive-thru. The menu is pretty broad, offering hot chicken, wings, burgers, Philly cheesesteaks, fish and shrimp, plus sides, drinks, and desserts. Service was friendly and fast. I went with the Philly cheesesteak combo, which came with fries for $9.99. Both the sandwich and fries were freshly made and really tasty--definitely hit the spot. Unfortunately, I didn't stop there and decided to try a slice of chocolate cake. That turned out to be a mistake--it was extremely dry and basically inedible. I ended up tossing it after a few bites. Overall, if you're looking for a quick, no-frills meal in the area, this is a solid option--just skip the dessert.

All the flavors were on point. Not over seasoned like some other place, that I've ordered the same meal. Enjoy!
