Review for Anytime Fitness -…read more As someone who travels the country and visits various Anytime Fitness locations, I've come to expect a certain level of quality--but this location was a major disappointment. First, management was nowhere to be found during business hours. I was there for two hours and never saw an employee. I spoke with others and they said the manager is rarely there. I did not see coaches or cleaning crew either. The door didn't latch properly and I was able to walk right in. Does this location even care about the security of its members? I question whether the camera system works or is even installed. (Usually you can see a screen in the office but I did not see one.) I would be worried about late night workouts. Also, I saw two other people come in, interested in membership, have to leave because no management was found. The gym itself was filthy--trash cans were overflowing, the windows have spiderwebs on the inside, and the advertising on the windows were dirty, curled up along the edges and also blocked natural light. It gave the place an unwelcoming, neglected feel. On top of that, the men's shower area was in terrible condition--the bench was broken in the down position which makes showering impossible, and the shower curtain was downright gross. The toilets, sinks and shower look as if they have not been cleaned in months. Even the walls and floors were scummy. Broken mirrors. Dirty windows. If there's a Covid-25 outbreak, this place might be ground zero. There were plenty of machines available since there were only a couple of other members. The place feels abandoned. So two stars cause I was able to get a workout without waiting. Overall, this gym needs serious attention. The Anytime Fitness brand is usually dependable, but this location is not up to standards. I hope management takes action to clean up and improve security, but for now, I wouldn't recommend stopping here. There's a Gold's Gym a block away and several other fitness centers in the area.

Seems like they let one of the young employees open in the morning who likes to party on Saturday night and can't get up for work. Tried calling whomever we could but no one can do anything. Why isn't a manager opening the store to make sure it actually opens? Additionally, there are multiple machines that are either out of order or not functioning properly. It typically takes a long time for them to fix the machines. I would not recommend.

Then you lay down and try to turn on equipment which only works half the time. I don't usually leave negative reviews but this happened a few months ago and it still bugs me, so…read morehere we go. I went in for the free trial workout, and it was a joke. At most places the free trial actually gives you an idea of what you'll be doing if you join and how challenging it would be, but after this one I actually still had to go to the gym afterwards to get a workout in. They left me alone on the treadmill for 10 minutes of cardio and then gave me one set of reps on a total of 4 super basic exercises to see where I was at physically. It took less than 20 minutes and I spent less than 10 of them with a trainer. I never felt challenged. To top it all off they never gave me any info about my results, or what future workouts would entail, or how they would get me to my goals. If they had given me anything tangible I may have forgiven the lack of initial challenge, but instead they gave me a sheet of expensive packages and asked me what I wanted to sign up for. I'm in pretty good shape already, so I'm not sure if they thought I wasn't worth the time because I don't have hundreds of pounds to lose, or what, I was just shocked that they didn't really seem to care to sell me on why I should join or give me a good initial experience. After leaving I was super bummed because I felt like I could've loved this place. I ended up joining a different company's program instead.
