Coach Roberts is patient and encouraging with the kids. My daughter loves going to class every week. I like the fact that Frisco offers classes in the evening and they have space for the parents to sit and watch if they prefer. The bathrooms don't appear to be maintained and the same goes for the changing rooms. Visibly dirty floors are the biggest offender by the pool, bathroom and changing area. Quality of lessons? Employees are disengaged. I question staff training because there seems to be no consistency. On several occasions I have observed staff flirting with each other instead of teaching class, playing water games with each other and distracting students to name a few examples. Today, two siblings were coughing, sneezing, and had runny noses throughout the class and staff allowed them to remain inside with everyone else. I asked the mother if her children are sick and she said "YES." Had any of the staff cared enough for the well-being of the children in class, they would have also asked the mother this question and told her to take her children home. If there are no makeups, then the studio should be proactive about protecting the health of the other children and enforcing clear policies on illness. My child's well-being comes first, and I can't continue attending a place that doesn't take that seriously.

Children with disabilities frequently struggle with receptive language and auditory processing. Many wear devices to assist with hearing when not in the water. I explained my son's hearing loss beforehand but the owner decided he was "not cooperating" when he didn't follow her instructions immediately. When he cried because he couldn't figure out what she wanted, she decided he was not a "good fit."

As a parents with two of my kids enrolled here and is at the gym mostly every practice for their competition team, my experience has been the opposite. The jiu-jitsu instruction for the youth competition team is exceptional. The lead instructor for the competition team is a phenomenal educator who knows how to connect with kids - something that isn't guaranteed in most coaches. The coaches go out of the way to ensure students feel supported and challenged in a structured environment. The competition kids are well prepared and the team as a whole performs well at various competitions they attend (even out of state comps). To suggest that the training is stagnant is simply inaccurate - the growth we've see in the youth competition team every month, every year is proof in our eyes of a high-level, evolving curriculum. Most importantly, their program doesn't just produce "winners", but well-rounded kids who respect the sport and respect each other. It's disappointing to see a gym that puts so much heart and effort into its students be described as anything less than professional. Come see the beginner classes for yourself.

The older kids program looks great and I especially like the bell located in the middle of the gym that the gymnast gets to ring when they master a skill for the first time. Great motivation! I am particularly impressed with the Tiny Tots classes. That program is outstanding! I have a very shy and timid little girl that easily becomes clingy, but somehow Coach Ethan got her to join the class. She happily joins his classes, but I was interested to see what would happen on that one day he was not there. Other coaches quickly stepped up with encouragement and she joined her class. After the initial warmup to music the class divides into two groups and each goes to a different station or the trampolines before switching. Each station just looks like fun activities to the kids, but each 'fun' activity is designed to teach a very specific skill. Each 'fun' activity is first demonstrated by the coach, but big picture cues beside each piece of equipment also instructs. When the coach observes a child skipping a skill or not completing it correctly, they will assist or give extra instruction. I notice that the assistance is as minimal as needed since the goal is for them to achieve independence. The station's setup changes each week. After a class, the coaches often chat with a parent about a skill that was mastered or improved by their child. I have seen improvement in core strength, balance, stretching and confidence, to name a few.
