Pros: we stayed in D1 cottage and the set up is homey and cute. Two person table, love seat pull…read moreout couch, two queen beds, a bath tub, coffee pot, mini fridge, toaster, etc. Each room contains a mini split which works great at heating and cooling the rooms. The mattresses are what you'd expect for staying off somewhere, not too hard but not too soft. We brought our own pillows so I can't speak to those. The bathroom has hand soap, shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. We didn't use the community areas, but the setup looks great and it has a grill. Cons: Cleanliness is lacking, there are cobwebs throughout. The floor needs a good vacuuming and a heavy mopping done. It looks like only spot cleaning is done when guests leave the property. Seeing the lack of cleanliness made me question if our sheets had actually been washed and that's a gross feeling. The bath tub has no stopper, but using a wash rag worked just fine. The hot water is lacking. A quarter of the way filling the tub the water turned cold, and it took a good 45 minutes for the water to heat back up. With three people needing to bathe/shower, it was problematic and very disappointing after a long day of being out in Arches N.P. Be sure to watch a YouTube video on the Hamilton Beach Brew Station coffee pot before using or you will have watered down cold coffee. Unfortunately, I did this after making our coffee, and wasted the coffee grounds and collagen powder I had brought. There is a lot of road noise, so if you're a light sleeper bring ear plugs. I don't think we will be back here again for the price we paid.

This review is for the tent camping, not the cabin or other rental options here (now HTR Moab)…read more The tent area is right next to the highway and it is LOUD since the trucks are engine braking downhill and shifting gears to go uphill. We stayed here two nights and slept terribly. Even with the free earplugs, we couldn't get a good nights sleep. Everything is so close together you also have no space from your neighbors. When we arrived someone else was encroaching in our site. The shared kitchen and bathroom facilities are nice, hence the 2 instead of 1 star.

This place was just fine. It had clean sites (bathrooms and showers very clean), hook-ups worked,…read morenice dishwashing facilities, felt safe (regular patrols) and it was quiet at night. I didn't use the pool nor have pets, but those facilities looked quite adequate. Staff was very helpful and accommodating. I almost gave it 4 stars because we were packed like sardines-there was just enough room for all of us. I think a 10% or 15% reduction in stalls could have made all the remaining slots just a little bit bigger,

We really enjoyed our stay at Sun Outdoors North Moab!!!We were crammed in like sardines, but it's…read morea beautiful little resort! Our "Pull-through" site really became a "pull-through-then-go-back-&-forth-four-times- so-you-can-open-your-slides-and-awning" site, between the trees & pedestal locations, etc. Loved the amenities at the North Moab location. Everything is modern and new, sparkly clean & well-maintained. Staff is always friendly, smiling & super helpful!! Beautiful laundry facility with tons of proper washers & dryers (this is probably the cleanest our clothes have gotten in a month). Laundry is conveniently located adjacent to the hot tub & pool! Have a soak in the hot tub or go for a swim while your laundry finishes! It is flanked by red rock to the east AND to the west- so getting proper sunrise/ sunsets is not possible from the campground. You can get a cool time lapse of the sun lighting the rocks on the opposite side of whichever "golden hour" you're trying to document or Arches NP entrance is literally 5 minutes up the street. *If you arrive at Arches before 7am or after 4pm, you do not need a timed entry pass*. (Side note- the patio area for the hotel next door & one night, we were able to enjoy the music played by a Jazz Orchestra that was playing for a cocktail party that was happening there!-what a delightful surprise!) The General Store is well-stocked, has a little of everything & even a little RV section that has a great selection of the things you may find yourself needing in an emergency! The sites come with a picnic table that you will most likely need to move completely out of the site as you pull in. We picked the wrong spot to replace ours to & i ended up with splinters in both knees trying to get past it every day when we left for the days' activities. ( our fault for not moving it again- we left it there because the other option would have been putting right next to our neighbors' sewer‍) The bonus of having the number of sites they have is that more people get to enjoy this amazing area! They have some really cute cabins. For any tent campers, I LOVE the tent sites. They are partinioned with corrogated panels & canopied. Each spot has a picnic table & charcoal grill. Many folks were also able to park their cars in the spots as well. Speaking of cars- each site- no matter cabin, tent or RV site- only 1 vehicle is allowed. If you have an extra vehicle, they have a separate parking lot where you can "rent" the parking spots for your extra vehicles. Theres a small, cute dog park & a little playground. Comfort stations are interspersed throughout. The main one has 2 proper dishwashing stations- one on the north side, the other on the south side. There is a water spigot at that main location for filling water jugs. There is a canopied picnic area with several picnic tables. Convenient if you're traveling with a large group & everyone likes to eat together. There is also a lovely community fire pit complete with Adirondack chairs (firepit was inoperable during our stay- they were waiting for parts to repair it), cornhole boards & a dining patio. No wood fires are allowed here due to local regulations but propane ones are available for $20/night including propane. It was such a great place to be. After hours of driving & walking & hiking & seeing the sights, it was incredibly relaxing to come back, have a soak or swim & meet really nice people who loved to share stories of the days' adventures. We would 100% stay here any time we're in the area!!! -- with Jon Burrell at Sun Outdoors North Moab.
